I did extensive wedding venue research and as soon as I saw the beauty of the outdoor fireplace, the ambiance of the rustic yet classy backdrop, and looked at everything the Meadowood had to offer I was immediately sold. After speaking with Layne, the wonderful venue coordinator, and asking her to answer every wedding question under the sun I felt all of my anxieties melt away. The Meadowood truly made us feel right at home for our wedding day- each guest couldn't believe this beauty hiding in Bellville and there was no better feeling than sharing this space with them. Layne was a huge help in planning and making our day run as smoothly as possible, she was extremely professional and responsive. There's also a house on site that is the perfect space for both men and ladies to get ready! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect woods/lodge/barn wedding!

The Meadowood is a remarkable wedding venue in Bellville, OH, that hosts weddings and special events. Nestled on over 25 acres of picturesque scenery, this location provides a stunning yet intimate setting for saying 'I do.' The owners strive to provide a personalized experience for couples who choose to host their special day there. They remain on hand throughout events, assisting as needed and ensuring everything goes according to plan.
The Meadowood accommodates both indoor and outdoor celebrations with up to 175 guests from May to October and 130 in November. This gorgeous property features a one-of-a-kind barn that has been remodeled into a beautiful venue. As well as the newest addition, the Cedar House for couples or their guests to stay in. This creates a weekend wedding destination, Friday-Sunday, to host rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding on Saturday, and Sunday to clean up.
The venue wows with original timber beams that cover the soaring ceilings and blend perfectly with new additions, such as the balcony that overlooks the lawns. The lovingly maintained grounds provide a gorgeous backdrop for ceremonies and wedding pictures, especially near the rippling pond. As the night falls, the setting becomes even cozier beneath a blanket of stars and a spectacular 20 foot tall stone outdoor fireplace. The barn contains three restrooms, as well as a get-ready suite for the guys to prepare for their day. The Cedar House has a complete level all for the ladies to get ready and spoil the bride! We have an awesome 6 seat deluxe golf cart to assist guests and the bridal party to get around the property!
The Meadowood welcomes couples to celebrate their wedding day with us, and we include many essentials to make your wedding day planning easy! We include tables, chairs, and linens, along with event setup assistance. Our venue team welcomes outside vendors, including caterers, as well as outside alcohol, and we supply the bartenders, ice, and cups for no charge!

. Layne the coordinator for the venue is absolutely the sweetest most competent person for the job. She made sure that everything went on time and with the schedule. She was there for rehearsal dinner, the entire day for set up and the ceremony and reception. She made sure to address any concerns and was like one of my best friends in how she treated me and my husbands groomsman. It’s was like family they absolutely did everything they could to assist would recommend this venue to anyone!

we would get married. Everything was amazing and could not have been any more perfect, with a huge shoutout to Layne (venue coordinator) for helping to make sure everything was in place, she even turned into our DJ when needed.
Some of the best parts of the venue: multiple locations to pick for ceremony/reception to fit your vibe, the storage closet of decorations to help save on cost, the outside stone fire place, the list is endless. Highly highly recommend to anyone and everyone

our expectations! Sarah and Layne were amazing to work with and were always available to communicate throughout the whole process. Layne was our event coordinator and was extremely helpful leading up to and on our wedding day. The building and the grounds are beautiful and made the entire wedding day perfect.
