The Meadows

The Meadows is a four-season, lakefront venue on the shores of beautiful Seneca Lake. Located at Sweet Farm and home to Vineyard View Winery's Seneca Lake tasting room, our 100-person event space can be expanded during the warmer seasons to host up to 225 people in an indoor- outdoor experience. The Meadows offers sweeping lake views, stunning fields of flowers and heirloom vegetables, and optional experiences to spend time with rescued farm animals. The property we sit on has a rich history in the Seneca Lake region. It was one of the first grape growing properties established in the early 1800s, eventually becoming the site of the first organic winery in North America. Our historic house, barns, and vineyards tell a unique story of farming in the Finger Lakes. Hosting your event at The Meadows supports Sweet Farm’s nonprofit mission—a regenerative vegetable and flower farm and sanctuary to over 150 rescued animals—while offering an on-the-farm experience that’s as meaningful as it is memorable.
