changes or straight forgets what he has told you. If you must book this place make sure everything is written down of what is promised to you so your don't get a huge disappointment like i did, especially on your wedding day. Instead of sitting down enjoying my dinner I was trying to track down the owner because they screwed our meals up so bad. Please save yourself the stress of someone who lies straight to your face.

The staff from the bartenders to the servers were great, they all smiled, were polite to the guests and there was plenty of staff to attend to the guests even though we had a small wedding (115 people). I would highly recommend this venue.

e reception is concerned, it cannot be beat. The venue itself is stunning, and the food - both in quality and variety - out of this world. I would not, however, recommend having your wedding ceremony there unless it is either outside or going to be very small.
The coordinator, however, is pretty sketchy. Originally we were told that chairs for the ceremony were included. Then no chairs were included. When my husband threatened to pull the ceremony from the club, suddenly 80 chairs were included, and $3.50 a chair above that. When we got the final bill, 75 chairs were included. This is just one example of something that happened over and over again, and no matter how many independent witnesses remembered what he said, he'd patently deny it. Basically, get ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HE SAYS in writing. He also attempted to cause unnecessary drama between my husband and mother, and said nasty things about my mother to my husband. Without him, I would have given them a 5 star 100% review. Too bad.

standing. After talking to my guests I did not hear one negative comment in regards to the food or service. The negative was that the food tasting is scheduled with a group so you do not get to choose what entree you would like to try, therefore some of the dishes that we chose we did not try prior to the wedding. Also it rained on our wedding day so we were not allowed to go on the golf course to take pictures. There were other events going on downstairs in the bar area, therefore we were VERY limited to where we could take pictures. We were only able to take photos in our reception area and in the front of the building. Other than those negatives it was a great venue!!
The wedding turned out wonderful but this was thanks to my amazing husband, family, friends and our other vendors (DJ, photographer, etc.).
Medina Country Club's event coordinator...
did a terrible job, she works from out of town & cannot meet with you execpt on her schedule (for example 9AM-12PM on a thursday). With that being said, we eventually found a different person, Jamme Powers, to be extemely helpful.
They do charge you a unlimited bar fee per person...however, if you drink over x number of bottles of wine...they run out & will not serve anymore. For example we ran out of white wine???
Also, you pay for a security guard that does NOTHING...she actually let country club members crash our reception.

was truly a magical evening. Even beforehand, Michelle and Jeff made sure every detail was in place and were available to answer any questions I had about anything. I can honestly say there wasn't anything I could complain about. The location is pretty much in the middle of no where which was nice if you're looking for privacy. Another bonus is that the whole ballroom can be rented. Not like other venues where they split the room with a collapsible wall and you can hear the music from the next room over. It was a very private and perfect reception!

The room does get very warm in the summer (from my perspective being in a wedding gown) so don't expect for it to be very cool if getting married in the summer.
A suggestion I have is to make sure you have christmas lights/ some sort of lights on the outside patio. IT will make for a nice atmosphere.

ere was a balcony for nice pictures of us on the balcony overlooking the golf course and it also was the only place for people to smoke. I ideally wanted an outdoor reception, but didn't want to take the chance with rain. This place was an excellent choice because of all the windows on the back wall. The doors to the balcony were glass as well. This gave me the sense of being able to bring the outdoors in. The food was wonderful and there was (what I thought) more than other venues offered.;The only thing I didn't like about our venue was when for pictures we went to a little lake. The lake was located right next to a cemetary. There is a fence that seperates it and shrubs do kind of hide it. Since there isn't anything the venue can do about this, it didn't bother us. From our pictures, you would never guess it was a cemetary.
