- Annie FritzSales ManagerI'm a Texas hill country native with a passion for people! There's nothing I love more than connecting with couples to help them find their dream venue. I believe every wedding should be personal, joyful, and unforgettable - and I'm here to make sure your experience with our venue reflects that.
- French CowboysCompanyFranklin and Dylan, better known as the French Cowboys, grew up between two cultures, with French roots and American spirit. When we moved to Texas to follow our dreams of becoming entrepreneurs and hoteliers, we quickly fell in love with the Hill Country, the rolling hills, historic towns, and the kind of hospitality that just makes you feel at home. We started French Cowboys to bring something fresh and different to the Hill Country. Properties that are design-forward, welcoming, and grounded in the character of the places they belong to. Every space we create is meant to feel like a true escape: warm, relaxed, and full of little details that make it special. Our goal? To celebrate the charm of the Hill Country and share it with a new generation of travelers.

Beautiful rooms with a lovely creek view and a massive four-claw soaking tub. I especially appreciated the private, enclosed balcony, quiet and peaceful with no guests above or beside me. Keyless entry was easy, and it’s close to a great coffee...
shop with an antique store attached. Very relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back.

Dont miss the experience. The energy here is so mellow and you feel at home. Gorgeous footed bath tubs and lava hot water. Heated by cast iron fire places, reminded me of pot belly stove. Really cool. Gorgeous views. Plenty of space and privacy...
. Service was via text message and self check in and check out so I didnt encounter anyone during my stay. Furniture is antiques, worn, but pretty. Sitting room furniture felt like outdoor wicker furniture, nothing matched, but it added to the feel of staying at an old coach house. I could imagine the cowboys stopping to stay for the night. Beautiful stay. I can't say it enough. Bedding and pillows were heaven! Clean and spacious room with minifridge, coffee maker, and microwave.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in 805 Mercantile and the room was very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming; there was a slight glitch with our entry code when we arrived but it was quickly resolved and the...
staff member was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the fact that there were plenty of extra towels available. My only suggestion would be to have some caffeinated coffee pods available instead of only decaf. I would love to stay here again!

You ever get tired of the city and you want somewhere quiet to spend a few days?
You miss the days where cellphones were optional and the sounds of nature beautiful?
Yeah. That's how Comfort feels. Oldschook, and apparently it was built in the...
1800! The spaces behind the Meyer are perfect for long quiet walks. Its so serene. Placed comfortably close to some decent hangout spots. Dining places. Etc.
This place is magnificent, quiet and old-fashioned. If you ever want to truly disconnect.
Funny thing is--my experience was no-contact. The room was prepared, I was contacted via text, and I just walked into my room, no offices, no signatures, nothing. Do mind the ammenities can be a little expensive, but thats because its worth it.
The room I was in had a spacious room with a comfortable air of a home. The guesthouse had this beautiful clawfoot bathtub that ran beautifully. Bring some relaxation amenities for yourself if you enjoy baths.
The only minimal complaints I have is my partner found a FATTY cockroach inside the bathroom, which prompted them to escape the room screaming. That said, are you kidding? We're literally surrounded by nature, I did not expect any less. Also, the guesthouse I was in had three rooms so there was a minor amount of noise from the upstairs. Other rooms are standalone if you want to avoid that. ($$$)Honestly worth it if you really want a quiet couple days.
Will definitely visit in the future.

I want to give this place 5 stars! It is an adorable little spot, but our room had not been clean upon our arrival and it was after hours, so nobody was on staff to answer our calls. They did call us back after an hour and a half, by which time...
we had already driven into Kerrville and gotten a hotel room. Staff was very apologetic for the room condition and refunded our stay. The room we had was super cute, just not cleaned after the prior guest.
