Melissa was our wedding planner and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! She helped us through every step of the way and made the wedding planning process stress free for us! We are so grateful to Melissa of helping make our day go so smoothly! Thank you so much Melissa to you and your team! I highly recommend Melissa, and the Milestone Denton. The Milestone Denton was the perfect venue for what we were looking for, and we knew it was our venue the minute we saw it (I was crying as soon as we pulled up when we first saw it)!

Our day was absolutely perfect! I was not stressed or panicked about anything regarding vendors or set up during the entire planning process or day of, thanks to Melissa! She is truly an absolute rockstar!! The zipper on my dress broke and without even a moment of hesitation, she was sewing me into it (even while hiding behind me in pre-ceremony pictures!). She saved the day, and my sanity!! The food was ok (chicken was the best on the fajita bar) but the desserts were SO GOOD! I wish we had gotten more to take on our honeymoon. The venue was gorgeous and the flowers and decor were more stunning than I had even envisioned. I really do not think that the day could have gone any better!

The Milestone Denton, Sarah, our wedding specialist, and Mellissa our wedding coordinator made sure our wedding was everything we wanted. Sarah helped with questions before we signed the contract and was very knowledgeable. Melissa was monumental in ensuring our big day went smoothly. Mellissa exceeded our expectations. It is evident she enjoys her job and that she not only focuses on the big picture, but also the little details. We used the vendors provided by Walters Weddings from the stationary, floral, bakery, photography, and videography. The cake was devine and was exactly what I was wanting. Emily Chappell Productions and Alexis made our events memorable and captured us perfectly. We were lucky to have Alexis for our engagement photos, our wedding photos and my bridal photos. I cannot thank Walters Wedding Estates, Sarah, Melissa, Alexis and all of the venders for making my dream wedding a reality. Not having to worry about finding vendors and having Melissa communicate to the catering team and bakery took the stress off. I highly recommend using Walters Weddings.

The Milestone in Denton was the very first venue that we looked at when beginning our wedding planning. Once we toured the place, we knew that this was the venue we wanted to get married at and make our love everlasting. The venue is BEAUTIFUL. We were both awestruck once we walked through the doors. From the gorgeous chapel, the spacious reception hall, to the stylist bridal suite. The Milestone at Denton really has it all! What made a deeper impression on us was our AMAZING wedding planner, Melissa. We literally had no idea how to plan a wedding and Melissa was really such a great help. She guided us through the entire process. She never made us feel silly for asking a question. She really had our back and made sure that we had the best experience possible. Melissa is literally the best! I would recommend any engaged couple or even a married couple who wants to renew their vows to consider The Mileston at Denton. This is the venue that made our dreams come true

Wedding planning is stressful as is but Melissa was my guardian angel! Any fire we had was immediately taken care of! She single handedly took care of my bustle and my dress change for the reception. The DJ, the food and the bar was so easy to manage. Everything was amazing! If anyone gets married here please do yourself a favor and ask for Melissa. (She will even be the bad guy if asked!) love love love

My wife and I were married at The Milestone Denton on August 31, 2024, and if our wedding had a catch phrase, it would have been this: "Don't worry, we have Melissa!" From the very first day, all of our concerns and worries were relieved by Melissa's expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail. Not one stone was left unturned, and even things that we hadn't thought to consider were covered by Melissa and her team. We could not have imagined having our most special day at any other venue - the Milestone is beautiful, secluded from the hustle of downtown Denton and 380, and we felt like royalty as the guests of honor on our wedding day. If you are looking for a venue that will really wow your guests, and staff that will keep you cool, calm, and collected on a high-pressure day, we HIGHLY recommend Melissa and The Milestone Denton!

The Milestone Denton is a dream venue! We wanted something timeless and classic, and they DELIVERED. Melissa Austin and her team are phenomenal. After losing TWO planners early in the planning process, she stepped up in incredible ways. I was an extremely type-A bride and she handled everything I threw at her with such grace and professionalism. When hiccups arose she tackled them quickly and I did not worry about much of anything. Her staff is amazing as well. When our 3 year old had a meltdown before I walked down the aisle they took him outside to play for the duration of the ceremony. As a mom I cannot express how grateful I was for their kindness and understanding. Melissa and her team also handled our families so well ( something that is not easily done). The morning ran so smoothly because of them. If we didn’t not have them, it would have been such a mess! I was so thankful for the frequent check ins down to the moments I entered the ceremony. When a family emergency 1 week prior to our wedding left us unable to complete last minute tasks, Melissa took them over graciously to make sure our day was the best!My family and friends have said nothing but GREAT things about Melissa and her team. The vendors we used through Walter’s were a dream come true. I have not met a more professional and caring team. Friendly is not even the right word, they treated everyone in attendance like family. I am especially impressed by Christopher and Jason who were our photographers for working so seamlessly with FIVE kids under 10. Once again, not an easy task. Our cake by Jenny Layne was beautiful AND delicious. They made my vision come to life! Our florals were top-knoth and exactly what I wanted. Our DJ Aiden and his team were truly the best! Aiden took the time to get my music timing down to the second I wanted and everything flowed so nicely. Security ensured everyone was safe and did not let anyone leave intoxicated. We had the time of our lives at Milestone Denton and cannot thank Melissa and the whole vendor team enough!

Best decision ever when it came to planning our wedding. The Milestone is so gorgeous. I mean just look at all the photo ops. I didn't even get one on the stairwell or outsidde by the gazebo snd pond. We received so many compliments on the food and the organization of the wedding. Omg The watermelon margaritas were a hit! Melissa was our coordinator and she caters to the wedding couple, guests and even to the outside vendors that I hired. Melissa is a professional and an expert at weddings. Thank you Walter Weddings. I have a feeling my wedding will bring you future customers. So many compliments on how beautiful and smooth my wedding was.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and we had the most amazing experience. However, it did not start out that way. When we first booked with the Milestone, we were assigned a coordinator. Poor communication and hardly any contact was made. (Hang with me!) Then we were assigned a new coordinator, with very little info, just that the previous person was gone, here’s a new one. Again, lacking in the communication that you would expect when paying such a large amount of money for all inclusive services. Then that coordinator left. We were freaking out. Trying to figure out grounds to cancel. Then, in a shocking, yet pleasant turn of events, in walks Melissa Austin. Melissa turned the entire experience around. We could not be more grateful for her expertise, creativity, punctual communication, and STELLAR attitude. She truly has a talent, and what she does cannot be matched. We were blown away by her can-do attitude, personable personality, and attention to detail. We simply could not have done this all without her. Words cannot express the impression she made not only on us for our special day, but on our memories. Every stressful moment, she put us at ease. Any frantic thoughts or questions, she had an answer and a solution. Throughout the entire process with Melissa, a problem wasn’t a problem at all. She had wonderful suggestions when we needed help with decisions, and always always made us feel prioritized and taken care of. The day of the wedding, we had several last minute to-dos for Melissa, that we had personally forgotten prior, and she took every single one and got it done, with a smile on her face. Everything ran smoothly, all thanks to her, even with going over the allotted time to get ready. Her kind words and enthusiasm about our day will not be soon forgotten. Every tiny detail and tedious task that she poured time and energy and effort into, means more to us than I could ever convey. Melissa, if you’re reading this, you are the best! Thank you for everything! We could not have had the literal time of our life, and most perfect day of our lives, without you! I plan to call to brag about her more to whoever is in charge, because this girl deserves a raise.

Melissa Austin was amazing! I would refer her gladly to anyone. She ensured our day was magical and stress-free! A virtual fairy godmother fluttering around making sure everyone was happy!!!! She goes above and beyond and 5 stars are simply not enough!

Melissa is an amazing person and wedding planner!! Melissa has the best attitude and attention detail. We wanted a Bridgerton themed wedding, and she executed our vision to perfection. I was about to get dressed and I had a headache. I asked Melissa if she had Tylenol. She opened this magical pouch and pulled out some headache meds and gave me a bottle of water!! Someone told Melissa that I had cake icing on my jacket. She opened that pouch and pulled out a Tide stick and removed the stain. Melissa made sure everything was though of and everything flowed magnificently. She is a dream wedding planner with a dream team!!

We had our wedding at Milestone Mansion in Denton. Everything was perfect! Beautiful location! Melissa was just fabulous! She certainly knows her job! Everything was flawless. Thank you Melissa!
