She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled and that we could truly relax and enjoy the day. Her organization, professionalism, and calm presence made all the difference. t a year and a half in advance and took advantage of MANY of their vendors and our day was everything we wanted. It went smoothly, it was gorgeous, and we could not recommend Walters and Milestone enough. A few specific shout outs: 1. Melissa, our wedding planner, was an angel sent from heaven. She was on top of everything from the moment we signed our contract to time we stepped out of the door that night. I am a control freak, and I trusted her with every detail on wedding day. She is the best and I'm genuinely sad I will not get to see her now that our wedding is over!  2. Calla was who toured us and helped us with our contract. She was thorough and answered our questions amazingly. She also assisted with a few details in the beginning. 3. Jolene with Design Haus (florals) was a dream. She caught my vision perfectly. I knew that we wanted to spend a lot of our budget on florals and they did not disappoint. I loved them and got so many compliments. I can't wait to get my preserved bouquet back!  4. Kathleen, Bree and Holly from ECP (photography) were incredible photographers. My husband is a ham but I am more resistant to photos. Kathleen did our engagement shoot and was an excellent example of how ECP treats their clients. She was kind and basically told us exactly what to do, our engagement shoot turned out great. Bree and Holly both covered our wedding and they were so FUN and encouraging and helpful and I just can't say enough. I can't wait to get our pics back. I know they will be amazing. (p.s. this company has a big team so I am positive we will not encounter any problems with late galleries like a lot of the girlies on Facebook who hire private photographers). 5. Daniel does not work at this location specifically but he was so helpful in putting some details together for this day. We wanted fireworks and had a vision, and he helped us execute it (among other things). He recommended Walters venues after looking at about 5 other outside venues. He works so hard and is such an incredible asset to Walters.  We also had food/booze (everything was delish and our bartender was great), a Photo Booth, and luxury exit vehicle with Walters. I'm a proud Walters bride and would recommend Milestone Mansion Denton to anyone! 

his job title. Melissa was excellent from the get go when we started working with her about 9 months ago. She got into the nitty gritty right from the beginning and it helped us a lot and we were able to cover a lot of basis quickly. She was always readily available for us at anytime via email or text up to the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Melissa was very hands on, she basically thought for me and did things that needed to be done without us having to say anything, that was impressive. She kept us on time, made sure we had food and drinks in the midst of everything going on. Melissa, thank you tremendously for everything you did for us, we will never forget. tunately where our praise ends. The contracted vendors with the vendor were sub par.  DJ didn’t play our requested playlist. Even after having specific and detailed conversations about how important the music choices were to our special day. Our florals were sub par. Paid for specific arrangements that were never received. Asked for a floral wrap around our staircase banister and instead received only greenery. Our florals (lilies specifically) also arrived not bloomed. Every arrangement that had lilies just had bulbs, this was over 13 arrangements.

Melissa was very professional and pulled out all the stops for us to have the most stress-free, well-coordinated, and beautiful wedding. Having heard about many wedding mishaps, we were both surprised and grateful that everything went perfectly. The Milestone is a gorgeous venue - we had our ceremony at the outdoor gazebo, cocktail at the patio, and reception and dancing in the ballroom. We made an amazing day of memories and will always cherish the time we had here!

life. She walked us through pricing options to help us stay within budget, and on the wedding day, she was hands-on with coordinating, decorating, and solving unexpected issues. When we realized last-minute that our chair decorations weren’t the right color, Melissa quickly came up with a creative solution using items she had in her office—seriously a lifesaver! She kept everything running on time, made sure we got a chance to eat and drink, and even packed us to-go meals for our getaway car. Melissa genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every detail. Her goal is to make your day as special as possible, and she’s absolutely amazing at it. Choosing this venue just to work with her would still be worth it—she’s that good!

and why I would recommend her and this location to anyone hosting any type of event but especially a wedding. I met Melissa in January 2024 while touring the venue with my mother and sister. We all instantly fell in love with the decor, location and theme of the venue as it blended my east coast up bringing with mine and my husband's love of Texas. We also chose it because I instantly felt incredible comfortable and confident that Melissa would help me bring all of my wedding ideas to life. And that is exactly what she did. She hosted every meeting flawlessly and ran each of them with deliberate questions and ideas centered to our likes and dislikes. Melissa ran the big day flawlessly, even fixing hiccups that were completely not her fault and out of her control by other vendors. She went so far as to send my flowers back for me because we specifically asked for no purple and they showed up with all purple. Melissa also helped my mother decorate the cake with extra flowers my mother brought to hide imperfections that were not to my liking. To say Melissa is a rockstar doesn’t cover it. Her bandwidth and knowledge of the industry, her venue, the other vendors and personnel was unmatched. She takes every detail as if it was her own event. Melissa was so easy to talk and so easy to get ahold of at any time of day, week, year. She is unbelievable and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs help with any event- even if it’s not at this venue.

e itself was a dream come true and a 5/5 stars. Our florist did such a great job with our table and ceremony flowers. Our photography/videography service was exceptional! Our officiant was wonderful and did such a great job conducting our ceremony. The venue food and drinks were delicious and our DJ service did a great job as well! My fiancé and I did have some issues with our coordinator and the clean up crew. We wish communication would have been better that day and more organized. My family and bridal party did most of the setting up and had to constantly ask her for help. I was asked a lot of questions by her before the ceremony even started, even though I felt like we had already discussed everything during our multiple meetings leading up to the wedding. This made me feel very stressed the morning of and I didn’t feel like she took less stress off my plate. The clean up crew refused to give my sister my wedding cake at the end of the night, when she asked for it 3 times. This miscommunication and the little things that occurred the morning of the wedding, really turned me off from the personnel working that night and from the lack of communication. Overall our experience was really great and we had a great time, despite the morning stress I experienced and the mishap with my cake.
