Working with Amanda and the team at The Mill was nothing short of amazing. We had big dreams from day one on how we were going to create an epic day while including The Mill as our reception venue and Amanda did such an amazing job helping us bring our inspiration to life. I wanted to think outside the box and do things a bit differently than most of their weddings and Amanda was always understanding and willing to find a way to make it happen. The Mill truly means it when they say it’s full service. Being able to drop all of our decor off on the Tuesday before our wedding and then to know it was all going to be set up and torn down for us was such a relief. They turned the venue into an absolute dream, it was exactly the way I had requested and somehow even better than my vision. The bar team was FANTASTIC and our guests even came up to compliment us on how fun the bartenders were. On top of that the bar pricing is SO reasonable. If we had been in a Columbus venue our bar tab would have easily been double or triple what we paid. I just can’t thank the Mill enough for an incredible job well done. I know I had a lot of requests and I pushed the team to do things a bit differently but they were so patient. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone for any type of event. The value you get for your money is amazing and the quality is unmatched!

The Mill Event Center is a wedding venue located in Lancaster, OH. Dating back to the 1800s, this historic building was once a wholesale grocer and feed mill. Now they welcome couples near and far to come and celebrate their nuptials. Through renovations, the venue seamlessly blends its historic charm with modern amenities for a superb guest experience. At The Mill Event Center, they can host a range of celebrations, including weddings, galas, corporate events, and concerts. It gave us so much peace of mind and we had nothing to worry about because we sat down with her and planned everything out, and then they brought our vision to life! They worked with our other vendors to coordinate drop offs for food and equipment and we didn't have to do a thing in that regard. They set everything up and tore everything down for us. Amanda kept us all on schedule throughout the night and made sure to encourage us to take in the moment. She is also VERY skilled at bustling a wedding dress! The Mill staff was SO kind and supportive throughout the entire day, and the venue was just absolutely incredible. It was everything that we had hoped for and more. It was definitely the most beautiful day of our lives thus far and we made the best choice by having our wedding at The Mill. wedding back in November 2021. The staff made everything smooth and easy. I felt very well taken care of by them asking if we needed beverages and frequent check-ins. We even told our caterers the wrong time for dinner, and the venue/staff were able to push everything up an hour so the evening could run as it was initially intended. My husband and I want to come back in to do our vow renewals here. We could not have asked for a better day, largely due to The Mill Event Center!

My daughter was nervous about participating in the wedding and she made accommodations for her, so that she could change her mind last minute if needed. Day of the wedding, we were running behind getting hair and makeup done and Amanda ensured everything ran smoothly until we arrived. I was not happy with my makeup and as soon as I got there, Amanda came in with her makeup kit and helped me fix my makeup and was very helpful asking me what I needed. Throughout the wedding and reception she made sure everything ran smoothly. It was the best day ever and everything was what I dreamed it would be.
