The Milwaukee Wedding DJ, Up Lighting and Photo Booth

We had Tom as our DJ from The Milwaukee Wedding DJ. I met one of the owners at a wedding expo and immediately knew that this was the company that we wanted to go with. Both the owner and Tom were so nice and easy to work with. We filled out a form with details and song requests and then Tom walked us through the form the week before our wedding to talk through all the details. We felt great going into the wedding day and even throughout the day, he made sure to touch base with us regarding our timeline. He played amazing music and all of our guests loved him! We had a few high priority songs and he made sure that they were played during the night. Everything went so smoothly. We recommend this DJ to everyone!

Our DJ Jay was so professional and he really made us in control on how we wanted to do things. He gave us choices and he was very flexible on our timelines! Everyone enjoyed the music he played and he was just a fantastic person! I will refer the Milwaukee DJ to future couples who are planning their wedding!

We cannot recommend Milwaukee Wedding DJ enough! When searching for DJs, we reached out to a few friends who got married and it was almost unanimous in that they used and recommended Milwaukee Wedding DJ and for good reason! From the very beginning, Jay and Matt were wonderful when it came to communication and logistics. Prior to our wedding, we also met with Jay, our wedding DJ, to talk about the schedule. When talking with him, he provided a few suggestions that we absolutely LOVED and would not have thought of ourselves! Our reception was absolutely perfect and Jay's playlist was wonderful- there was just the right amount of personalization, requests, and slow songs. He also did a phenomenal job facilitating things like the grand march, speeches, and making announcements when late night food was ready. We cannot recommend him enough! Our wedding was also in downtown Madison on Homecoming weekend, which was continually something we stressed about. Jay reassured us that everything would be great and he seamlessly navigated the traffic, venue, and all of the logistics. It's clear he's done a lot of weddings, and we could not imagine a. better DJ!

We had a terrific experience with Jay and the Milwaukee Wedding DJ team! Jay and Matt were very responsive during the planning phase, had some great suggestions for the reception (group photo, order of events, etc.), and made the entire process from start to finish completely stress-free. Jay is a seasoned veteran and kept all of our guests out on the dance floor the entire night with hit after hit! He was personable, knew exactly what to play, and when to speak up as MC. We may be a little biased, but Jay is honestly the best wedding DJ we've personally seen. :) Five stars all day!

The Milwaukee Wedding DJ team is amazing! We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID and they were so understanding and gracious with us. On the day of our celebration, we had Tom as out DJ. Tom was so great! He knew exactly what to play when and was able to read the crowd impeccably. I was blown away by his wealth of son knowledge and expertise. He was also very helpful in keeping things moving by announcing things on time. I cannot think The Milwaukee Wedding DJ enough for helping to make our day so special. I tell everyone I know about them!

Dj was really nice and fun to work with. Very communicative. The only reason I can't give 5 stars in because there were a lot of songs on my must play that weren't. When I asked if he could play it soon he said he wasn't able to find any songs by them. Which I found hard to believe because i asked about Morgan Wallen...lol little disappointed in that.

Matt was our dj for our wedding on 10/1/22. We used his dj services for ceremony music, reception and MC. Everything was set up and ready to go and the ceremony music played on time with no issues. The reception was a blast with guests dancing all night. He was right on schedule with the events of the night (speeches, dances, bouquet toss, etc.) and abided by our must play and do not play lists. He was so funny, made the night a blast, and our guests complimented how good our dj was. I absolutely recommend hiring the Milwaukee Wedding DJ! We were so impressed and happy with their services!

When I say that I have gotten more compliments on how amazing our DJ was than ANYTHING else to do with our recent wedding, you know they were great! Jay and the team at Milwaukee wedding DJ were INCREDIBLE. They were so easy to work with and I kid you not, Jay had the dance floor packed from start to finish! People were “complaining “ that they can’t play so many great songs, they need a break! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a DJ for anything, they were spectacular! Truly worth the money and I want to have another wedding just to have them DJ again!

People at our wedding were asking for his business card. The dance floor was going until the minute we closed the venue. Jay was amazing! We rolled with everything he suggested to make our wedding more fun and all those suggestions were a big hit with us and our guests. He seemed to always be in the right place at the right time with the microphone before, during, and after dinner. People were struggling to find room on the dance floor for most of the evening. Matt and his team were amazing! The lighting he brought really added to our venue’s charm, the photo booth was super fun, and people were out on the dance floor all night long having an absolute blast — even my older family members! There was music for everyone. Matt even went the extra mile and downloaded the theme songs to match the TV shows we used to group people for dinner announcements which everyone thought was unique and funny. He was a pleasure to work with and clearly cares about making your wedding easy and fun! Highly recommend him for your special day!

The Milwaukee wedding DJ was absolutely amazing to work with! Our DJ, Tom, was the glue that kept our big day together! He kept things on schedule and coordinated with our other vendors as well. He was able to get music into three separate areas of our venue and everything flowed the entire night. They were great with communication, and called us the week of to walk through everything to make sure we didn't have any questions. I highly recommend having Tom or one of the other DJs at Milwaukee Wedding DJ for your wedding!

The Milwaukee Wedding DJ was great to work with! We had Matt as our DJ and he was AMAZING. Communication leading up to our day was so easy and they respond so quickly. We had nothing to worry about. We had Matt do our ceremony music and reception music. Everything was spot on. A good family friend actually surprised me and my dad with a different song for our father daughter dance (good surprise) and Matt was so accommodating and made this happen. He had the dance floor packed all night and even came out to join us in the dance floor at one point to show people how to Wobble LOL. I would highly recommend The Milwaukee Wedding DJ. You will not be disappointed and they are fairly priced. Our friends are actually using them for their wedding in spring! Thank you, Matt!!!

We had Jay as our DJ for the day. We had sound set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in three different locations across our venue. He did a fabulous job of setting everything up smoothly. We appreciated the questionnaire they sent a few months before the wedding so we knew what to plan for our music selection. Then we had a call the week of the wedding to review all the details. Jay was so helpful and even texted us leading up to the wedding to confirm the small changes we requested after the call. We mixed up the line up order before the grand March and Jay was excellent at coming back to check and get us organized. We could not have asked for anything more when it came to keeping the energy up all the way through midnight! Jay was the best DJ and emcee for our wedding day!!

We had Jay as our DJ and he was fantastic! Jay met with us beforehand and gave us a lot of fun ideas for things to do during dinner and the first dances and in general made planning a lot easier. The music and mic setup for the ceremony were perfect and Jay did a great job introducing the wedding party and MC'ing throughout the the night. Everything he played was fun to dance to, although we wish he would've played a few more off of our must play list. Jay did a great job of finding clean versions of songs we were hesitant about due to the younger guests and everyone said they had a great time dancing all night. Our experience with the Milwaukee Wedding DJ was amazing! We were so thankful to have Tom for our special day. Not only did he play all of our requests, but he also used those requests to choose other songs that fit perfectly with our event. Dave and Britt were our DJs and they were wonderful! They kept the dance floor full. I was thrilled they played every song we requested. I do recommend giving them a list of songs you want to hear! The up lighting was also a great touch! It made our room feel wonderful!

Tom was the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. He walked us through the process every step of the way, and had an awesome music set that was derived from our preferences. From the reception, to the speeches and beyond, everything went smoothly and everyone had a good time.

We booked the Milwaukee Wedding DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and photo booth. Jill was our DJ, and she did an amazing job! We had a phone meeting the week before, where she outlined everything and even pointed out some things we hadn't even thought of. On the day of, she was amazing! There were also two other assistants with her (I totally forgot their names) who really did a great job keeping the photobooth and party going! The music was amazing, and I liked that only my bridal party could request music. Even though COVID-19 kept the dance floor emptier than usual, it was still such a blast! Jill even came out from behind the DJ booth to lead us all in doing the Wobble! Hands down one of the best wedding DJ's I've ever seen. Thanks Jill!

Jay was our DJ and he was amazing. He knew how to read the crowd and what to play to get people on the dance floor, which should be a natural thing for a DJ but trust me, I've been to weddings where that was not the case. Jay made sure to communicate with us throughout the whole day to make sure things were on track or adjust the timeline if needed. Would highly recommend Jay and The Milwaukee Wedding DJ!

If you're looking for a Wedding DJ who could NOT pass as an amateur birthday party magician then you've found the one! I found out while meeting with DJs that a lot of them are ... overly showy? We wanted someone who could read the room, give instructions when needed, and blend into the background. Matt was all of these things! People raved about the music choices. We did the photo booth as well, I'm not a huge photo booth fan personally... but man people love it! TMWDUL&PB were a great bang for our buck. They are professional, friendly, and not in any way, shape, or form cheesy. Strongly recommend. 10/10

I am honestly not usually one to write anything but positive reviews. However, if there was anything I would change about my wedding it would have been the DJ. Per my initial emails with Matt I had requested the enclosed photo booth to which he assured me would be no problem. The day of the wedding though, there was no booth, just a black backdrop and a camera that took an odd amount of time taking pictures. Jill was our DJ, she called a few days before the wedding to go over final details and information which went really well. She asked if we were ok with our guests requesting music and we told her we absolutely were. Jill said she does use discretion when playing requested songs to stay away from super depressing or hard rock music or anything that would kill the vibe which completely made sense to us. I have had nothing but complaints from my guests because they were requesting songs and they were never played, Jill even told some of them she doesn’t take requests because she has her own playlist. Even my father couldn’t get a song he requested to play which is extremely upsetting to me, considering none of the songs being requested would have killed the vibe in my opinion and I would have been happy to hear them. I would honestly look somewhere else for your wedding DJ, learn from my mistake! Unfortunately I can’t get that day back.

What can I say about TMWDJ, our wedding was on 10/18/19 and our DJ was Matt he was amazing!! He played all the songs I requested for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He also played a few extra ones that guests asked him to play. Matt kept the dance floor packed all night long and was awesome MC making people get out to dance. He even danced with me (bride) a merengue song :). Thank you so much Matt for playing all my genres Merengue, Salsa, Bachata & Reggaeton you rock!

Jay was our DJ. He was great to discuss and plan our ceremony and reception. He was great at time keeping and planning to make sure we got all the photos we wanted before our photographers left. He honored our do not play list but we heard very few songs of the ones that were must plays. Even when we asked for certain songs, they weren’t played which was somewhat disappointing. Overall was a good experience.

Jay was are DJ and was absolutely incredible, as was our entire experience with the company. Jay DJed our ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner and the reception and everything went so smoothly. He is definitely an expert at what he does. The officiant and those that gave speeches/the blessing were heard loud and clear and Jay anticipated all needs and events. Everything went so smoothly and the dance floor was PACKED immediately and remained packed all night. Most weddings I go to it takes a while to get to that point. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and it took away our stress completely. Jay seemed to make the events of the day just magically happen.

Seriously the best! We were engaged for almost 2 years and started looking for DJ's quickly because we knew they book up and wanted a good one for the right price. We met with Matt last summer and immediately knew they were the perfect fit. We booked them and then when we got close they sent us an email with a survey to fill out on what we had planned with songs, names, ect. Jay was our DJ and he was AMAZING! From the ceremony to the reception to dancing! Our main goal was to have the dance floor busy and that is exactly what we told him and he did not disappoint! We would definitely hire them again if we had to do it all over again! Jill was our DJ and she did an amazing job. I believe the DJ makes or breaks the party, and she definitely made the party. She kept the crowd going to the very end. She responded quickly to all of my texts, emails and phone calls. My husband and I had an unusual first dance song, and she went to lengths to make sure she had the right version. She covered our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. Their pricing is one price for everything so there were no surprises at the end of the night. Matt from the Milwaukee Wedding DJ was amazing to work with. The DJ was one of the last parts of our wedding planning that we had to figure out but had no idea where to start. We ultimately ended up attending the Milwaukee Wedding expo and went through each DJ booth we could, of which there were a lot. We happened across Matt and the MKE wedding DJ booth early, and even though we knew we liked them right away, we still trudged our way through numerous conversations and sales tactics with other vendors of less experience, equipment and enthusiasm, but more annoying upsells. Matt knew our venue and had experience setting up there before. He provided us with options any gave us the overall price upfront. Once it came time to actually lay out the particulars of our weddings timeline, his questionnaire became the framework we set everything too. Even when we had only rough ideas of what we wanted Matt was able to work with what we gave him and made it happen. During the wedding itself he had no problem adjusting to our specific requests or last minute multiple staging changes. And he had no problem with some of our more unusual music requests, some pulled right from Youtube. At this point with everything else going on, it was reassuring to be able to pass off the day-of plan and know that he would get us AND our guests where they needed to be - when we wanted them to be there. I have no complaints and I would easily recommend Matt and the Milwaukee Wedding DJ group again!

Jay was absolutely wonderful to work with! From calling us the week before the wedding to make sure he was aware of all of our song requests to helping us with odds and ends during the reception - like making sure our cake was in the right spot for the cake cutting. We are so lucky to have found the Milwaukee Wedding DJ! We had Matt as our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! We met him and immediately wanted him to DJ our event. He was very thorough with the timeline for the day and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. I was nervous because all of the other DJs I met with, and my sister’s own music for her wedding, sent out huge lists of songs to go through and mark as must play and don’t play. The Wedding DJ has a form that you just add your own must plays and don’t plays so there is not a list of songs to go through. This made me nervous because I wanted to make sure Matt played the type of music my friends and family would love and there wasn’t many requests that I had. This was actually a blessing because I didn’t spend hours going through a play list and he played everything we loved. My sister could not stop telling me how amazing my DJ was and the dance floor was full the entire night. Even my venue coordinator told me she has never seen the dance floor as full all night as ours was that night. I would recommend the Milwaukee Wedding DJ and Matt for every event and I hope to work with him again in the future!

I cannot begin to describe how impressed we were with Matt and his team. We had a full dance floor until last call at our wedding. TMWDJ did such an amazing job at creating a fun vibe at our reception. Matt was so great at being "the ringmaster" of events throughout our reception and was really patient with our crazy wedding party. We also had a photo booth which people really enjoyed. They even gave us a little booklet of everyone's photo booth pictures at the end of our reception as a little gift. I can't wait to look back at that in the future. Matt helped during the pre-wedding planning by offering tips and answering questions based off of his experience about what usually works best. There was a questionnaire that answered the important questions about wedding party introduction, first dance, playlist, ect. He was an energetic MC and filled in the gaps of the playlist by playing fun dance music from all eras that people enjoy. Our guests told me they had fun at the wedding and that was top priority.

From the initial emails back and forth with the team all the way through the event itself, we were really pleased with The Milwaukee Wedding DJ team. They were very helpful over email as we knocked out the initial questions we had, and they were even happy to accommodate a few odd requests, like coordinating with a live music performer for part of the event. As we got closer to the event, they sent us a form to fill out to clue them in on some important info about the event, and that pretty easy form went a long way in helping us get aligned with Jay, our DJ for the event. Jay was fantastic to work with and was a great person to have leading the way at our wedding. He helped get us photos with every single table, he led the way during the "Shoe-lywed Game" which we loved, and he was energetic and great to work with. Overall we feel like we chose well and we were happy with the work Jay and the rest of the Milwaukee Wedding DJ team did and I would definitely recommend them!

My husband and I were married on 9/1/17. Our DJ was Matt with The Milwaukee Wedding DJ and he well exceeded our expectations. From the day we contacted him to inquire about wedding DJ services, Matt was always in communication with us and was quick to reply to any of our questions. In the few weeks leading up to the wedding, Matt was in constant communication with us to ensure that all of the details regarding the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception music was handled. He kept the music flowing very nicely from one part of the day to the next. Matt knew just the right songs to play to get more people on the dance floor and he was a great emcee. He even taught me, my husband, and all of our friends how to do "the wobble"!! He took song requests and made sure they were played. Matt definitely made our night run smoothly and overall just a blast! All of our guests commented on how nice Matt was. He worked well with our other vendors to make sure the night was seamless. Jay and his assistant did a spectacular job on our wedding day! They were on time, professional, and met every need. Initially we had a string quartet booked for the ceremony, but they didn't show up! Luckily Jay kicked it into high gear and set up music for the ceremony! No one knew any different! He even had the classical songs on hand to play. The dance floor was rocking all night long and he really took my requests seriously. Absolutely perfect DJ!

Jay really did a great job. He really did a good job with engaging our guests and play what we wanted. The number one thing people had told us about their wedding DJ's was that they didn't play what they wanted. Jay absolutely did. We would recommend to everyone.

We were just recently married on August 11th and had the pleasure of being able to work with these guys and we are SO happy we did. They are AMAZING and so reasonably priced! They e-mailed us a questionnaire months ahead of time to get a rundown of the times and events to take place throughout the evening and followed up with us a few days before to make sure everything was set. We worked with Matt the day of the wedding and he made sure the evening ran smoothly and he was so great. We received so many compliments during the night of how fun the event was and we give the credit to these guys. Matt even jumped out on the dance floor with all of us (initially to make fun of us for doing the Wobble incorrectly, haha) and everyone loved it. We definitely lucked out on finding these guys because I feel like having a great DJ really makes your event. We are thankful for how smoothly everything went and we didn't have to worry about a thing and were so happy our guests had a great time. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married! Matt was beyond fantastic! He literally kept the party going until the lights came on. He was super friendly and had an amazing playlist. He even downloaded a special song on the spot for me! He didn't talk too much and kept things moving along. I highly recommend his services!

We learned about TMWDJ by attending a friend's wedding in which Jay DJ'd. We quickly knew we wanted to book him. He was so easy to work with, always replied quickly and helped us with timing and choices. He followed our timeline to a t, but still was able to really go along with the flow. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, he played exactly what we wanted (and didn't play what we didn't want) and kept everyone dancing. We also did the open photo booth- this was so fun to look back on. We got so many compliments on our DJ and I couldn't recommend TMWDJ enough!!

I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! Matt did an awesome job keeping people dancing and the whole night had a nice flow all thanks to him. We would recommend them to anyone!

Matt with The Milwaukee Wedding DJ did a great job at our wedding! He played exactly what you wanted, didn't play songs on your "don't play list", and took requests! Our venue let us stay late so it was so great that The Milwaukee Wedding DJ didn't have a specific end time and basically said "we go as late as your party goes" so we went right up to 1:30am and Matt kept people dancing the whole time! They provided uplighting and also a Photo Booth that we had serve as our guest book - so a copy of the photo was put in the book and guests could write a note next to it which we loved! They also send you files of all the photo booth pictures which were so fun to get. We wouldn't change anything and really had the best night dancing the whole time - they were so easy to work with, responded to emails right away, and send out a questionnaire to really get a feel of what songs you want to hear / not hear which was nice. Would highly recommend The Milwaukee Wedding DJ - thank you!

Matt was the DJ at our wedding (for the ceremony and the reception) at Silver Spring Golf Club in Menomonee Falls and he was wonderful!! He was incredibly personable and easy to work with - he made the music aspect of our wedding a breeze. We had a number of guests compliment us on his work - he kept things moving and was interactive with our guests. Would highly recommend to friends and family. The only negative comment I would have is that a few guests mentioned they wished the photobooth had more props - but if that's the worst of it, I'm happy. Thanks again, Matt!!

My husband and I are so happy we went with The Milwaukee Wedding DJ for our wedding! Matt was fantastic and had everyone dancing all night! If the crowd died down even for a minute, he knew the song to play to have every person on the floor again! The uplighting was perfect- exactly what I was looking for, and the photo booth was a hit! Working with Matt was easy from day 1. He met with us to go over all of the details and leading up to the wedding day he rolled with all of the changes. He was able to provide music for our cocktail hour outside and then promptly move inside for our reception. He never missed a beat. He kept things moving along and kept us on schedule. Matt was an absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding! Song selection was great and kept everyone out on the dance floor all night. If things were starting to die down a little, Matt knew what song to play to get people back out on the dance floor. We had a Greek wedding, so there were a lot of requests for Greek songs. Matt was also super flexible and was able to play whatever songs we requested on the fly. Matt even came out and danced with everyone during the Wobble, which everyone loved! Matt DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and did a great job. The sound for the ceremony was perfect and the dance floor was full the entire night. We also used their photo booth which was more of a "tent" than the standard small booth that people squeeze into. They gave us a free memory book with a copy of everyone's pictures from the night. I definitely recommend them!
