The Milwaukee Wedding DJ, Up Lighting and Photo Booth

respond and answer questions! They have a very thorough questionnaire to fill out that gives them all the information they’ll need to MC efficiently and not need much from you on wedding day! Our DJ, Jay, was incredible. We asked him to do some things he hadn’t done before, like play violin covers softly during the ceremony, and make an announcement to guests that it’s okay to Irish Exit (in professional verbiage) when they’re ready to go! (We didn’t want to be pulled away from our party all night because people want to say bye, we know they love us! I recommend adding something like this!) He was all for everything and we were so impressed with his delivery and enthusiasm in his MC’ing. He kept the party going all night and was just fabulous to work with. Having a great DJ that can MC and keep the flow is so important! It can be harder booking a DJ than other vendors, because you really can’t get a good idea of their work like you can a photographer for example. So let this review be your evidence that this company has talented, professional DJ’s that you can trust in every aspect!

ting needed to speak to others. Got things moving on schedule. Only hiccup we had was food vendors delaying DJ but he handled it well and it was only a few minutes behind. Matt was fantastic and played music to the very end. We enjoyed his production, lighting and atmosphere he provided our guest.

He arrived early to our venue to conduct microphone checks with our officiant, and ensure that there was audio properly set up. This was especially important because the ceremony, dinner, and reception were all in different locations on the property. We are so thankful to have hired the Milwaukee Wedding DJ. A great DJ can make or break a wedding, and Jay did a phenomenal job. We can't imagine having hired anyone else. So many of our guests have followed up with us over the last few days to let us know how much fun they had, and the DJ was a huge part of that. Jay kept the dance floor packed from start to finish with his stellar song selections. Thank you Jay!!

for our personalities. Tom actually DJ’d day-of (venue was Black Swan’s Riverwalk in the Third Ward) and was very accommodating. Tom also was quick on his feet and was able to make a last-minute speaker pivot so that we could have our first dance outside on the riverwalk, which made it SO much more intimate and romantic! Thank you Tom!! Being the planner that I am, I wish we could have had our run-through call sooner than a week before, but Tom obviously knew what he was doing and had plenty of communication with our officiant outside of that call, which we really appreciated. During the wedding, he was really good at reading the room and switching things up as needed. AND playing everything in our “punk rock power hour” that we requested. SO much fun! Would recommend them both!

er and Tom were so nice and easy to work with. We filled out a form with details and song requests and then Tom walked us through the form the week before our wedding to talk through all the details. We felt great going into the wedding day and even throughout the day, he made sure to touch base with us regarding our timeline. He played amazing music and all of our guests loved him! We had a few high priority songs and he made sure that they were played during the night. Everything went so smoothly. We recommend this DJ to everyone!

ed Milwaukee Wedding DJ and for good reason! From the very beginning, Jay and Matt were wonderful when it came to communication and logistics. Prior to our wedding, we also met with Jay, our wedding DJ, to talk about the schedule. When talking with him, he provided a few suggestions that we absolutely LOVED and would not have thought of ourselves! Our reception was absolutely perfect and Jay's playlist was wonderful- there was just the right amount of personalization, requests, and slow songs. He also did a phenomenal job facilitating things like the grand march, speeches, and making announcements when late night food was ready. We cannot recommend him enough! Our wedding was also in downtown Madison on Homecoming weekend, which was continually something we stressed about. Jay reassured us that everything would be great and he seamlessly navigated the traffic, venue, and all of the logistics. It's clear he's done a lot of weddings, and we could not imagine a. better DJ!

I tell everyone I know about them!

People were “complaining “ that they can’t play so many great songs, they need a break! I would recommend them to anyone who needs a DJ for anything, they were spectacular! Truly worth the money and I want to have another wedding just to have them DJ again!

A good family friend actually surprised me and my dad with a different song for our father daughter dance (good surprise) and Matt was so accommodating and made this happen. Then we had a call the week of the wedding to review all the details. Jay was so helpful and even texted us leading up to the wedding to confirm the small changes we requested after the call. We mixed up the line up order before the grand March and Jay was excellent at coming back to check and get us organized. We could not have asked for anything more when it came to keeping the energy up all the way through midnight! Jay was the best DJ and emcee for our wedding day!!

where she outlined everything and even pointed out some things we hadn't even thought of. On the day of, she was amazing! There were also two other assistants with her (I totally forgot their names) who really did a great job keeping the photobooth and party going! The music was amazing, and I liked that only my bridal party could request music. Even though COVID-19 kept the dance floor emptier than usual, it was still such a blast! Jill even came out from behind the DJ booth to lead us all in doing the Wobble! Hands down one of the best wedding DJ's I've ever seen. Thanks Jill!

. overly showy? We wanted someone who could read the room, give instructions when needed, and blend into the background. Matt was all of these things! People raved about the music choices. We did the photo booth as well, I'm not a huge photo booth fan personally... but man people love it! TMWDUL&PB were a great bang for our buck. They are professional, friendly, and not in any way, shape, or form cheesy. Strongly recommend. 10/10

s with Matt I had requested the enclosed photo booth to which he assured me would be no problem. The day of the wedding though, there was no booth, just a black backdrop and a camera that took an odd amount of time taking pictures. Jill was our DJ, she called a few days before the wedding to go over final details and information which went really well. She asked if we were ok with our guests requesting music and we told her we absolutely were. Jill said she does use discretion when playing requested songs to stay away from super depressing or hard rock music or anything that would kill the vibe which completely made sense to us. I have had nothing but complaints from my guests because they were requesting songs and they were never played, Jill even told some of them she doesn’t take requests because she has her own playlist. Even my father couldn’t get a song he requested to play which is extremely upsetting to me, considering none of the songs being requested would have killed the vibe in my opinion and I would have been happy to hear them. I would honestly look somewhere else for your wedding DJ, learn from my mistake! Unfortunately I can’t get that day back.
