on. Chuck was so helpful and responsive the whole planning time. At first, I thought I wanted an acoustic guitar but when he heard the songs that we wanted for the ceremony he suggested a keyboard/ sax and it sounded AMAZING. I hadn't thought about this combination, so I was thankful that he took the time to suggest this based on our music choices. For our first dance, they learned a song that I had sent them and my husband only realized after I told him during the first dance that it was them live not a recording -- they are INCREDIBLE. For the reception, I have not been to a wedding where so many people were on the dance floor. It was never a dull moment -- even when we got up on the stage with them or the guitarist came onto the dance floor playing. They seamlessly played from one song to another. I couldn't have wished for a better night.

They respond very quickly to all emails and are extremely easy and professional to work with, especially with having to cancel our wedding. They were empathetic with this unforeseen circumstance all brides were in and even offered to return our deposit, which was very kind and generous. If we can reschedule a wedding celebration next year to gather all our family and friends, The Mixed Nuts will be our first choice for a band!

o my busy schedule I was never able to. Trusting in my friend, and a few Instagram snips, I hoped for the best and I could not have been more impressed. This band truly made my wedding. I have had so many guests wanting to know more about them. My in-laws and husband even questioned my choice of a band over a DJ, and they have not stopped talking about how good The Mixed Nuts were since. They kept the party going and over 80% of guests were on the dance floor the entire night. The band even allowed myself and guests to get on the front of the stage making them hardly visible. I have been to several weddings where members of other bands will get defensive if you even get too close to the stage. The Mixed Nuts welcomed and embraced the crowd that blocked their performance. One specific guest told me that he had to look over the crowd several times throughout the night to see if it was The Mixed Nuts playing or if the music was coming from an AUX cord. While they may be more expensive than others, my biggest suggestion is to cut down elsewhere because a band can truly make/break a wedding reception!

band is truly the best. From the moment their set began, every guest was up and dancing and didn't stop until the very end. I'm not even a dancer, and I don't think I stopped all night. Chuck also helped my wife orchestrate a surprise performance that blew me away and made a dream come true. Chuck did really great with the parameters we gave him and allowed us to be as choosy as possible, making the music at our wedding truly unique to us. Furthermore, I must note that I was concerned having a band play in such a small space would be overwhelming, but I was totally “nuts” because Chuck and his crew know how to deliver top notch sound at the perfect volume for any venue! The Mixed Nuts all are true professionals and we are so lucky to have had them play at our wedding. If you’re thinking about whether to book the Mixed Nuts or some other band, ask yourself, “do I want my guests to have a good time or do I want them to have the time of their lives?” If it’s the latter, pick the Mixed Nuts!

I booked them about 1 year in advance and I could not be happier with my decision. Chuck works with you to get an idea of what music you want to hear and the band really runs with it! Also when they take breaks, they can DJ so there is music still going - there were no moments of silences. They bring their own lights and setup and rocked the night. Chuck is the owner and "Head Nut In Charge" of The Mixed Nuts. He is also the CEO and founder of The William Credo Entertainment Agency. WCA Entertainment is a private events specialist team and marketing firm that specializes in corporate entertainment production. Chuck has been granted Ambassador status by the State Of Louisiana and currently serves on the Louisiana Music Advisory Board and Music Commission. Chuck has performed across the world for over 25 years and is a fourth generation musician. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
