The Mixed Nuts were an EPIC part of our wedding!!! From the very beginning, Chuck was so great to work with, answering all our questions and really working with us on the vision of...
our wedding reception. We wanted fun, upbeat music that everyone at our wedding could dance to, and Chuck worked with us to ensure that the more "current" songs wouldn't happen until the last hour. We also had a few less traditional wedding songs we wanted (for example - our last song of the night was Walk of Life) and Chuck was so supportive of those choices and helped make them a reality.
Members from the band played for our cocktail hour - a jazz trio - we wanted a really classic Nola feel, and then they did a mini second line to lead all of our guests into the reception and onto the dance floor. It set the tone for a high energy evening which is exactly what we wanted.
Our dance floor was packed all night not just with friends but all of our family too - it was so great to see everyone having SO much fun. As the bride, I only left the dance floor to run to the bathroom and to grab dessert once!
We almost made the decision to go DJ for the last hour of our party, and we're SO glad we chose to have the band keep playing live. They kept the energy so high and the dance floor was just packed the entirrre time. Plus, we had a hora at our wedding, and were a little nervous if they could deliver....but holy crap they delivered! One of the best wedding horas ever - everyone told us the band was incredible. Plus every member of the band was beyond sweet and these folks are truly talented - like next level voices y'all.
Chuck and the Mixed Nuts truly created the high energy part environment we were looking for. They did not disappoint a single time. I highly recommend you book Mixed Nuts for your wedding!!!
Everything we could have hoped for and more from The Mixed Nuts as you gave us all a wedding night to treasure. We are so glad you became part of our memories from the Corwin/Petz ...
wedding on March 15, 2024! Such a good time and all we heard all night and afterwards were rave reviews.

w/caught our vibe from the start of the reception and parties with us ALLL night! I would 1000% redo my reception over and over again just to have them play music for us!
This band is FABULOUS!!!!! Highly highly recommend!!! It was hands down the best decision my husband and I made! Our wedding reception was beyond amazing because of The Mixed Nuts!...
!! Every single one of our guests were raving over how good the band was and my husband and I never left the dance floor! They also did a fabulous job with the cocktail hour trio, second line, piano and saxophone additions throughout the night. All members of this band are so talented and Chuck was fabulous to coordinate details with. 10000000% recommend!!!!!
I don’t even know how to begin. The Mixed Nuts were absolutely INCREDIBLE. Our wedding was easily the best night of our lives, and it wouldn’t have been the same without them!!! I ...
mean it when I say that the Mixed Nuts made our wedding! I can't even count the number of our guests that raved about them. Everyone was is awe, and the entire dance floor was PACKED all night long. They got all of our guests involved and even let my husband and his groomsmen, who were in a band together, play a song that was one of the highlights of the night!!!! One of the best decisions we made was hiring the Mixed Nuts for our wedding. If you want to guarantee that you and your guests will have a blast at your wedding, do yourself a favor and hire the Mixed Nuts!
HIRE THIS BAND FOR YOUR WEDDING!! Everyone told us how incredible they were. They kept the party going all night. No one wanted to leave the dance floor. No need for a playlist. Ju...

"Best Wedding Ever" -- comments from my guests because of The Mixed Nuts. After our wedding, guests reached out to us multiple times to tell us how much they loved our band and how...
much fun they had. We had them do both our ceremony and reception. Chuck was so helpful and responsive the whole planning time. At first, I thought I wanted an acoustic guitar but when he heard the songs that we wanted for the ceremony he suggested a keyboard/ sax and it sounded AMAZING. I hadn't thought about this combination, so I was thankful that he took the time to suggest this based on our music choices. For our first dance, they learned a song that I had sent them and my husband only realized after I told him during the first dance that it was them live not a recording -- they are INCREDIBLE. For the reception, I have not been to a wedding where so many people were on the dance floor. It was never a dull moment -- even when we got up on the stage with them or the guitarist came onto the dance floor playing. They seamlessly played from one song to another. I couldn't have wished for a better night.
AMAZING!!!! Their talent is unmatched! We had a PACKED DANCEFLOOR the entire reception! Every time I looked around people were having a blast! Their talent is unmatched! We are con...
fident that we chose the best possible band for our New Orleans wedding! So professional, efficient, and easy to commmunicate with. We got so many compliments after the wedding!
We have known The Mixed Nuts for years. When we booked them for my daughter’s wedding, there was never a doubt or worry on how good the show would be. Sure enough as promised, th...
ey came with game faces on and had everyone dancing from start to finish. The compliments from guests were endless. They are all great musicians, a tight band, terrific singers, and know which songs to play. Be prepared to not want to sit down. When your feet hurt at the end of the night, you know you had the right party band.
Where do we even begin?! The Mixed Nuts were truly phenomenal on our wedding day, playing every song we had hoped to hear and finding the perfect balance between mine and my husban...
d’s taste in music, all while making sure everyone was having a good time and dancing all night. Starting from the first time we reached out, Chuck and his team were attentive, patient and most importantly, wanted to ensure we had our dream wedding day. They were flexible and extremely fun every step of the way. Guest after guest approached us during the reception to say how unbelievable the band was, and we couldn’t agree more!
The BEST night ever! There’s no need to try and sugar coat it either: the Mixed Nuts showed up to have fun and that’s just what we did! From every single song choice to performance...
, our guests never left the dance floor.. even for our private dance. We always wanted more! The band was so easy to work with and provided the funnest time for my husband, myself and our guests. Every wedding deserves to have this band!
Thanks for also letting me join y’all for our one hit wonder moment “What’s Up?” It was a moment I’ll never forget.

wedding has been raving about how much fun they had because of the band! I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better!! Thank you all so much for making our night so unforgettable!❤️❤️
Fabulous band! The Mixed Nuts kept us dancing and the party going for the entire reception.
Hands down the BEST BAND OUT THERE! We hired the Mixed Nuts to play at our wedding, they were flawless from the time we signed the contract to answering my 3,000 questions, to the ...
actual wedding reception. We knew we wanted a band at our reception and we definitely hired the best. From learning our first dance song to keeping the crowd going until the last song of the night they were nothing short of amazing. Our guests had the time of their lives! Thank you guys so much for being part of our special night!
We brought The Mixed Nuts to our wedding in California last year right before COVID-19. They were AMAZING!!! We could not have asked for a more incredible experience dealing with ...
them. Chuck is a joy to work with and he even answered my calls while on vacation in Disney World! Our family couldn’t understand why we wanted to bring a band in from so far away, but we saw their videos and were hooked. One phone call with Chuck and we knew this was the band for us! I wish I could give a TEN star review!! Joe and I are fans for life!
We organized our entire wedding around the Mixed Nuts availability. We saw them two years ago at our friends wedding in Mobile,AL and they were amazing!!! Chuck is very easy to w...
ork with and booking the band was simple. We also booked our 2nd line, photo booth, and ceremony music with them and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our wedding day was very overcast and we had to delay for almost a half hour to dodge the rain. It all ended up being perfect. The dance floor was full the entire night and the band learned several songs just for us. We can not recommend the Mixed Nuts enough - they made our wedding perfect!!!
We had to cancel our wedding celebration due to COVID-19 (we married privately) and were sad that we had to cancel our reception because we were SO excited to have The Mixed Nuts (...
they were the first vendor we booked after our reception venue!). I had numerous recommendations from friends and my wedding coordinator about how great they are even though I had not seen them play personally. They respond very quickly to all emails and are extremely easy and professional to work with, especially with having to cancel our wedding. They were empathetic with this unforeseen circumstance all brides were in and even offered to return our deposit, which was very kind and generous. If we can reschedule a wedding celebration next year to gather all our family and friends, The Mixed Nuts will be our first choice for a band!
I can not say enough about The Mixed Nuts' performance at my Lafayette, LA wedding in February. I was recommended the band by a close friend. I made several attempts to watch the b...
and perform at local venues prior to the wedding; however, due to my busy schedule I was never able to. Trusting in my friend, and a few Instagram snips, I hoped for the best and I could not have been more impressed. This band truly made my wedding. I have had so many guests wanting to know more about them. My in-laws and husband even questioned my choice of a band over a DJ, and they have not stopped talking about how good The Mixed Nuts were since. They kept the party going and over 80% of guests were on the dance floor the entire night. The band even allowed myself and guests to get on the front of the stage making them hardly visible. I have been to several weddings where members of other bands will get defensive if you even get too close to the stage. The Mixed Nuts welcomed and embraced the crowd that blocked their performance. One specific guest told me that he had to look over the crowd several times throughout the night to see if it was The Mixed Nuts playing or if the music was coming from an AUX cord. While they may be more expensive than others, my biggest suggestion is to cut down elsewhere because a band can truly make/break a wedding reception!
WOW, just WOW!! The Mixed Nuts music made the night what it was: magical, fun, energetic, and memorable. During the wedding so many guests came up to us proclaiming their love for ...
the Mixed Nuts, and those proclamanations didn't end there. The band is truly the best. From the moment their set began, every guest was up and dancing and didn't stop until the very end. I'm not even a dancer, and I don't think I stopped all night. Chuck also helped my wife orchestrate a surprise performance that blew me away and made a dream come true. Chuck did really great with the parameters we gave him and allowed us to be as choosy as possible, making the music at our wedding truly unique to us. Furthermore, I must note that I was concerned having a band play in such a small space would be overwhelming, but I was totally “nuts” because Chuck and his crew know how to deliver top notch sound at the perfect volume for any venue! The Mixed Nuts all are true professionals and we are so lucky to have had them play at our wedding. If you’re thinking about whether to book the Mixed Nuts or some other band, ask yourself, “do I want my guests to have a good time or do I want them to have the time of their lives?” If it’s the latter, pick the Mixed Nuts!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Myself, my husband, and all my wedding guests can't help but rave about how awesome The Mixed Nuts were!!! From the start of the planning process, Chuck was super responsive to our...
emails and made sure everything fell into place. The band itself was just out of this world. We were literally on the dance floor all night long!! The band was so engaging and really created an atmosphere that said, "Let's have some fun." All our guests can't stop telling us how great they were. If you are looking for a rocking good time, well, look no further The Mixed Nuts is where it's at. Thank you for making our night so special!
From day one working with them was amazing! chuck is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; if everyone in music was like him it'd be a better market! The music was phenomenal, they...
tend to play medley style which I LOVED bc the music literally didn't stop!! Book them you won't regret it! my reception was wonderful thanks to them!

arty the event of the night and we just had to have them for our wedding! And boy, did they deliver! Their performance was top notch and had our entire guest list on the dance floor the entire night! A good party depends on good music, and the Mixed Nuts played a little bit of everything which appealed to all ages at our wedding.
In additional to their fantastic performance, Chuck Credo was the ultimate professional. Chuck took charge of MC-ing the night for us and did not miss a detail. He was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process and preparations.
If you want a band that will provide the best quality, high energy entertainment- book the Mixed Nuts. Book them right now!!

dding! Two days after I got engaged, I emailed The Mixed Nuts to see when they were available, and planned the rest of my wedding around that! Chuck was amazing to work with! Every question, concern, or request I had, Chuck had a quick response! The Mixed Nuts played our first dance song which was so special to us! They even helped me pull off a surprise confetti-filled last song that I always dreamed of! They made our wedding the most fun night of our lives! The next morning my parents even said "Let's do it all again and get The Mixed Nuts for y'all one year anniversary!!" Everyone LOVED The Mixed Nuts!!

lashmob! They are as professional as they are talented, happy to take my calls and brainstorm how to keep our guests dancing for 4 hours straight. They effortlessly transition through any musical genre, in some cases I swear they sound better than the original! I can’t rave enough about them, do yourself a favor and hire these Nuts!
I am a native New Orleanian who got married in New Orleans on 3/31/18. I actually found the Mixed Nuts while I was looking through portfolios when I was trying to choose a wedding ...
photographer. There were 2 separate portfolios from different photographers where I noticed that everyone was on the dance floor at the reception. When I looked at both of their vendors list, I found out the common factor - both had the Mixed Nuts playing! I booked them about 1 year in advance and I could not be happier with my decision. Chuck works with you to get an idea of what music you want to hear and the band really runs with it! Also when they take breaks, they can DJ so there is music still going - there were no moments of silences. They bring their own lights and setup and rocked the night. We have gotten compliments from everybody about our band and how amazing they were! Thank you Chuck and the Mixed Nuts for a wonderful night!

engagement!). I chose The Mixed Nuts based on a friends recommendation as I am not from New Orleans. We had a daytime wedding and I was worried about people not wanting to dance but this was NOT the case. Everyone loved the band as did my husband and I. We have been married three months now, and our guests are still raving over the Mixed Nuts, saying that they were the best band they have ever seen at a wedding! I cannot say enough about the band's outstanding performance and their amazing manager/band member Chuck!
Chuck and the Mixed Nuts were absolutely fabulous at our wedding. They had the dance floor at the Federal Ballroom packed from start to finish. I have been a fan of the Mixed Nuts ...
for well over a decade and they have simply gotten better and better. Gwen did an amazing job getting everyone moving to Proud Mary and the energy stayed up at 100 percent the entire night. Chuck is extremely professional, accommodating by email, phone, etc. and he is full of excellent advice and couldn't be any nicer. We had the extra horns section and they were fantastic, so I would highly recommend adding them too. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the band was. We also had the Mixed Nuts coordinate our second line and the Pocket Aces were out of this world. So many of guests (especially our guests from Europe) were blown away by this tradition. I loved every minute of the Mixed Nuts at our wedding and would hands down recommend them to anyone!

cisions. We had a destination wedding and did all of our planning from Minnesota so we were nervous that we didn't have the opportunity to hear the Nuts play live, but we were relieved of all worries as soon as they got started up! They did our second line and our reception and they rocked them both! Our guests are still talking (over a month later) about how awesome they were and we and our families couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend them (and recommend including the horns and their female lead singer - she was awesome!).

njoy dancing to, and The Mixed Nuts sure did deliver! They were so easy to work with. A few months before the wedding, they asked us to go over their song list and pick 10 or so of our favorites so that they could get and idea of what we liked and said that they would take it from there. And they sure did, because my dance floor was packed the whole night! We added the horn section to core group, which made for a really great sound! We also took advantage of The Mixed Nuts DJ, who played the last 30 minutes and during all band breaks. He was great too! Closing with the DJ was a great option!

New Orleans flair, who did our second-line through Champions Square - which everyone loved. They were so entertaining and engaging, coming into the crowd and singing at some points and even inviting others on stage with them. Yes, at some point my husband and I were singing Living on a Prayer to the crowd which was followed by him, his siblings and the priest doing an impromptu dance to Footloose. Great times!!!
