The Moeller Cello & Guitar Duo

Cannot say enough great things about this duo. We had them perform for our outdoor ceremony and indoor cocktail hour on 9/5/21. We unfortunately were so busy we didn't get a chance to meet them in person but wish we did to give them a raving review personally. We had to postpone our original wedding date for a year so we've been working with Paul for 2 years. He's always so responsive and happy to answer any and all questions. The whole process with them is very seamless and I couldn't have imagined my ceremony/cocktail hr without them!

We had moeller music do our ceremony & cocktail hour music. My fiancé and I were blown away with how amazing the music was. Our guests absolutely loved the extra touch. Paul was super easy to work with and had very quick response time with any questions I had. Would totally recommend to a friend!!

I didn't get a chance to meet the Moellers in person until AFTER they performed at our ceremony, but they completely set the tone for the big day. I legitimately can't recommend them enough if you're looking for 2 amazing musical performers.

Paul and Kerena were absolutely wonderful! They played their instruments so beautifully! They really elevated our ceremony and cocktail hour by making it more elegant! They have a huge song selection to choose from, and my husband and I loved that they play contemporary songs that everyone knows and listens to! Ashley and Kevin (violin and guitar duo) did a phenomenal job at our wedding located at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI! We’ve received so many compliments from everyone regarding the music at the ceremony. The music was absolutely beautiful, they were totally professional, and the song choices worked out amazingly well! I can’t tell you how many people came up to me after the ceremony to share wonderful accolades for the musicians! And although the bar was a bit noisy during the cocktail hour, their violin/guitar performance continued to provide a festive backdrop. The Moellers were wonderful to work with for our wedding in August. Paul was responsive to questions and music selections. We had Moeller Music for our ceremony and cocktail hour at The Haight in Elgin. Given that I was the bride, I only heard the few songs we had in the actual ceremony, but they were beautiful!! And everyone had such wonderful things to say about cocktail hour music! We had a great mix of traditional and contemporary songs that fit our style perfectly and are happy that we chose Moeller for our special day!

The couple was not available for our wedding but they found us a violin and guitar duo . Being the bride, I didn't get to meet them but they played beautifully. You get to pick your own song selections and they have samples, which I found very helpful. They also are good with any communication before the event.

We booked one of the Moeller's cello/classical guitar duos for our outdoor ceremony. They provided about 30 minutes of prelude music and our ceremony music. I am a music teacher and clarinetist, so the music was super important to me, and I was thrilled with their performance. My aunt and uncle are professional clarinetists, so they also played, and my aunt and I arranged some special pieces for the processional, unity candle, and recessional. The musicians were totally willing to learn our arrangements and perform with my family members. They showed up early enough to do a sound check and run through a few things, which was great. I felt like time was standing still when I was processing down the aisle-the cellist was just soaring. It was absolutely beautiful. We were very happy with the level of musicianship, professionalism, and flexibility (it randomly rained for about a minute like half an hour before our ceremony and they had to run inside to protect the instruments, luckily there were blue skies by the time it started!). The musicians provided the perfect musical accompaniment to our special day!

Our ceremony music and cocktail hour music was impeccable, thanks to Moeller Music!! They were punctual, professional, and so easy to work with. Any questions/emails, they responded so quickly. We never had a worry with them. We asked them to learn a new song for our ceremony and it was more beautiful than I imagined it would be. We highly recommend using Moeller Music for any events!!

Paul and Kerena were outstanding at our wedding. We gave them three different songs that we specifically wanted played when the ceremony began. They beautifully transitioned into each song as the groom, bridal party, and bride made their way down the isle. We received many compliments from our guests on the music. Paul and Kerena arrived earlier than expected so that they were already playing music as our guests began to arrive. Highly recommend for everyone in need of beautiful and elegant music.

Our wedding was held at the Conrad Chicago on Sept. 2, 2017. Paul and Kerena played our ceremony music, which included the 30-minute prelude in addition to the ceremonial music. They did a remarkable job - absolutely brilliant! Paul and Kerena provided the beautiful, elegant touch we were looking for, and many of our guests thought the same as several told us (unsolicited) how beautiful the music was. As a bride, I could not be happier. Paul and Kerena elegantly synchronized both modern (e.g., Can’t Help Falling in Love) and traditional (e.g., Canon in D) wedding songs . Paul was my primary contact during the planning process – he was professional, helpful, and responsive every step of the way. It was truly a joy working with such a talented pair of musicians, and I will certainly think of the Moeller Duo for future events. Overall, our experience was fantastic, the music was phenomenal, and our guests were impressed. I highly recommend the Moeller Duo for your wedding ceremony/reception and event! They are incredible.

Moeller provided beautiful live music for both our ceremony and cocktail hour at the Newberry Library in November 2016. They learned a song at our request and the cocktail hour playlist was perfect. Paul was incredibly responsive and easy to work with in advance, and everything went off without a hitch. They are talented musicians and add a truly classy touch – we received many compliments!

We used the Moeller cello and guitar duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and it was absolutely beautiful! For the ceremony, we chose only one song off their list and asked them to play two songs that were not on it (although famous enough) and they were able to play them wonderfully! Our guests told us that they enjoyed them very much and they definitely added a touch of elegance to our ceremony and cocktail hour, while also being unique and not as standard as the traditional string quartet. They were also very responsive to email, easy to work with, and affordable! Very glad we chose them for our wedding!

They provided the perfect accompaniment to make our relatively brief ceremony feel more special, and we received many compliments from our guests. Wonderful musicians! They provided the music for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in August 2016, and they were very professional, and brought beautiful music and a great atmosphere. They have so many music options and were quite helpful when I wasn’t sure on music for the ceremony. Paul and Kerena have such a beautiful and elegant style--both with their music and their own presentation. We were so impressed by these two, in so many ways! I actually happened across their website when I was trying to decide what kind of music we wanted for our wedding ceremony, and I was fascinated by the idea of a guitar-cello duo. I also loved that their repertoire included both classical and contemporary music, since we were learning more towards the contemporary route. I was thrilled to learn that they were actually available for our event! Paul and Kerena were very responsive via email, helping us solidify our music choices for the ceremony. We had some specific (and perhaps somewhat unusual) requests for them in terms of exactly how the ceremony would flow, and they were more than happy to accommodate. We also asked them to accompany a singer during the ceremony, and our singer remarked to us later about how professional they were, saying that "they were a godsend." Their music brought tears to the eyes of myself and my groom, and probably most of the guests. (We received a number of compliments on the music from our friends and family). It was unbelievable. We felt like they were able to hit the sweet spot between traditional and contemporary with their style and music choices, which is exactly what we had in mind (emotional and memorable but not stuffy). The music in our ceremony turned out better than we could even have imagined and I'd highly recommend these two to anyone. They have a beautiful and wonderfully unique sound, and are absolutely true professionals.

I didn't hear the music prior to our ceremony, but I remember reminding myself during the ceremony that the music was LIVE. Absolute perfection. The Moellers made our wedding seamless & I can't thank them enough!

My husband and I had Paul and Kerena play at our wedding ceremony and during our cocktail hour, they were absolutely perfect for our outdoor occasion. I searched for months to try and find the perfect ceremony musicians and I always came back to Moeller Musicians, because of how great they sounded in their videos and their amazing reviews. Well I can say one thing for sure, they were fabulous and far exceeded our expectations! Our guests raved about how great they were and how fitting it was for the venue. Paul and Kerena were extremely accommodating, professional, and made the process of deciding songs very simple. We told them specifics for ceremony and gave them a directions to go in for the cocktail hour, and they nailed it! I would highly recommend this duo, they are truly amazing at what they do!

I first heard them at a wedding over a year ago and once I got engaged I knew I HAD to have them at my wedding! They were one of the most memorable parts of the wedding I had attended. They did not disappoint at my wedding. For years I had imagined walking down the aisle to Prince’s Let’s Go Crazy and they learned how to play it! They were amazing. I only wish I could have heard them more. Guests really loved the music and that the songs were not the traditional wedding songs.

Paul and Kerena were fabulous! They were recommended to us by Rev. Dave Angle who officiated our wedding. We listened to a variety of their music online and decided to hire them. On the day of our wedding I walked down the aisle to them playing 1000 years. It was beautiful and made that moment so special. They played for our cocktail hour as well. Their quality and professionalism is a great value. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for ceremony, cocktail or reception music.

Paul and Kerena were absolutely amazing and one of my most favorite and memorable parts of our wedding day. Guests were raving about them after wards. We had them play during both our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a DJ for reception. As our ceremony took place outside on the golf course at the country club, we wanted an instrumental sound that was soft, beautiful and not stuffy or too sharp. The combo of the cello and guitar was absolutely perfect. We provided Paul with our song requests for the ceremony about 2 weeks in advance. We went with traditional ceremony music for the ceremony and a mixture of contemporary and cocktail music for the cocktail hour which took place right after, also outside. The only thing we needed to provide for them on the day was an electrical outlet/cord and 2 seats (in the shade) - super easy. They arrived nice and early as the event they had scheduled earlier that afternoon finished earlier than expected which was so nice as they had even more time to set up and get comfortable with the space and surroundings. We didn't have them at the rehearsal which wasn't even necessary due to how professional they are. They know exactly what they are doing and are great at it! In fact, about 20 minutes before the ceremony started, I asked Paul if he could change the song I was going to walk down the aisle to as I wanted Canon in D and we had initially requested that song to be what the bridal party walked down the aisle to. He said absolutely no problem, liked the idea and said they would come up with the perfect arrangement for the bridal party to walk down the aisle to instead. I'm so glad he was able to accommodate that change such last minute! Highly recommend the Moeller's! Thank you Paul and Kerena:)

Paul and Kerena made our wedding ceremony so very special. They NAILED a unique arrangement of David Bowie's "Space Oddity", that gave us and all of our guests chills. Both of them are talented beyond belief and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add layers of atmospheric wonder to their event. Cannot thank them enough. Bravo!

Paul and Kerena were really great! As soon as my now-husband and I heard their music online, we knew we wanted to book them. I dealt only with Paul via email, but he was always professional and responsive, and accommodating to our requests as much as possible. We were able to pick out some great songs for our ceremony, and they provided a great mix of songs for the pre-ceremony time and the cocktail hour. My only negative is that I was being hidden away before the ceremony, and was whisked away for pictures during cocktail hour, so I didn't get to hear them as much as I would have liked! But what I heard was perfection and it really made our ceremony both beautiful and our own. The guests absolutely loved them!

We had our wedding just recently outdoors at The Grove in Glenview...The Moeller's music was a very special and important part of our wedding. Paul and Kerena were a dream to work with! Planning our wedding from Scotland was sometimes hard but they both made it so easy with very quick response via email. On the day the music was just what we wanted and our guests had so many lovely things to say about there music! I touched everyone. I am so glad that they were part of our special day!

We are extremely pleased that we stumbled upon Moeller Music’s website while looking for ceremony musicians for our wedding. We hired them for our June 11th wedding this year. Their music was the absolute most beautiful I heard out of any wedding ceremony vendors we researched. Throughout the planning process, the Moeller’s were very responsive and helped us pick out some great selections from their website to have played at our ceremony and cocktail hour. They day of, their music was even more beautiful than we imagined and we received many compliments. They are the only vendor I wasn’t able to meet with all the craziness of the day going on, and that is my only regret! Paul and Kerena played for our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The wedding was held at Esplanade Lakes Ballroom and we had a beautiful day. The music for the ceremony was so meaningful and important to the bride and groom and Paul and Karena played each selection to perfection. Paul and Kerena were absolutely amazing! We had Moeller Music perform for both our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. A big ask from us was to have some non-traditional music. They did a really great job at meeting this request of ours. We gave them a few songs to work from and then took care of the rest (e.g. -- The Pretenders: I’ll stand by you; Astaire: Cheek to cheek). There performance was so well done that after the weekend was over, our guests were coming up to us saying how great Paul and Kerena were. We were so pleased. Most importantly, they were very responsive to all our emails and questions. They really went the extra mile to help make our day extra special. True professionals. 100% recommend these two for ceremony music and a classy cocktail hour. I couldn’t help but end with one quick anecdote from the day (probably our favorite moment from the wedding!) During the cocktail hour, our ring bearer (who, keep in mind, is 1 and half years old) came up to Paul and demanded to strum along with him on his guitar. Paul was so so amazing with our ring bearer! He let him play and everyone at the cocktail hour just melted cause of how cute it was! It was such a special moment and Paul was so great playing along with him.

my husband and i hired paul and kerena for our intimate wedding last month. i was SO excited when i found them because their music is absolutely beautiful and they were able to play such a wide variety of songs/pieces. they were absolute professionals and incredibly easy to work with. they also made the ceremony flow seamlessly, playing filler music where i didn't even realize we would need it and timing the music perfectly. they were one of my favorite things about our ceremony and everyone commented on how beautiful they played afterwards. cannot recommend enough!
