We are an accomplished, experienced, and professional group of musicians who love to perform! Our members have performed at some of the country’s biggest stages such as Carnegie Hall, The Tonight Show, The Daily Show, Voodoo Fest, and The Rodeo. Our members have also played with the Houston Symphony, Houston Opera, and Houston’s biggest original band, The Suffers! The Moment’s versatile song list is guaranteed to make any event a hit! We perform songs from your favorite top artists such as, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, and ABBA. We also play music from the 50s to the early 2000’s capturing a perfect blend of songs that will even get Nana up on the dance floor! The Moment is unique in that we are a self-managed band, meaning all questions and inquiries are handled directly with us, cutting out the middleman and making booking a seamless process reducing unnecessary stress leading up to your big day. Our flexibility makes us available to you at any time of the day to discuss special requests or questions that you may have. e entire experience of our reception. I went to watch them play one of their gigs in the Houston area and was SOLD. They have incredible chemistry on stage and all the musicians look like they are genuinely having a blast performing. Their energy is infectious and brings such a fun and upbeat vibe to the dance floor. Some wedding bands I've seen feel really corny but The Moment is more than a typical wedding band. They were able to learn two sentimental songs for me and my husband and I was BLOWN AWAY by their covers. They were also able to work seamlessly when taking breaks and playing songs via aux to keep the party going. Scott is professional but also dedicated to throwing a great party and show. He was lovely to work with. Each musician is individually talented and they come together really well as an ensemble. They have an extensive list of songs and are fairly priced compared to some other quotes I had gotten. They have won themselves a fan for life and my husband and I are looking forward to enjoying them perform at more Houston gigs in the future! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and I am so grateful that they were a part of our day.

that they truly ENJOY what they do. I have known Scott Sofer for almost my entire life, and he still acted as a consummate professional in delivering an amazing performance for our event. It was easy to contract, set the date, choose songs, and he worked directly with our venue to ensure what equipment the band needed to bring vs what the venue already had in place. The Moment is a talented, professional, music-loving band that will be such a great addition to your special occasion. Oh, and they dress so fancy. Highly recommend!

All of our guests were impressed with their music inventory and their overall performance throughout the night. minute tweaks. He organized playlist after playlist and brought tears to both mine and my now husbands eyes. The Moment effortlessly guided our day into the night. From learning a new song for my parents to sing during our first dance, all the way to our private last dance where I surprised my husband with his favorite song (more tears). If we had to do it all over again, booking The Moment would be the first thing we did.
