Andres was such an incredible dance instructor!! I could not recommend taking dance lessons with him more - it ended up being one of the most fun and most meaningful things we did during wedding planning. We had a blast with Andres every week. He kept things fun and light while also making sure we learned all we needed to learn to make our first dance exactly what we wanted. As two people with zero (and I mean zero) dance experience or skills, he broke things down into digestible chunks making each move felt very approachable. Working with Andrés was an incredible experience and truly one of the highlights of planning our wedding. He made the entire process of putting together our first dance genuinely fun. From our weekly lessons, to choosing the song and building the choreography, to finally bringing it all to life, my wife and I always left with a smile on our faces. What made Andrés especially great was how much care and thought he put into the process. It never felt transactional or like we were simply learning a cookie-cutter wedding dance. Each week, we built on what we had learned before, adding new steps and sequences until everything came together naturally. By the end, we not only had a first dance we were incredibly excited about, but we had actually learned how to dance together and move around each other in a way that carried throughout the entire wedding night. That ended up creating so many more special moments for us beyond just the first dance. Andrés was so invested in us that by the end we couldn’t wait to send him photos and videos from the wedding because it genuinely felt like he was part of the journey with us. My name is Andrés Acosta. I’ve been dancing, choreographing, and teaching professionally in NYC for over 15 years. My experience includes work in Broadway shows, television, music videos, and special events. Through the years I’ve taught couples just like YOU to dance with ease and confidence. Choreographing wedding dances has become one of the true joys of my career. The Moment is my effort to combine my passion for dance and weddings. I love weddings! itely one of the best decisions made throughout the wedding planning process :) Andres does a fantastic job of breaking down movements and piecing them together for an overall beautiful end result that is familiar to you as a couple. My husband was skeptical at first to do dance lessons as he does not come from a dance background like I do, but after the first lesson he told me, "That was actually really fun". Each lesson was a fun getaway from the wedding planning and made for a great date night. My husband and I looked forward to each and every lesson, and that was all due to Andres. He has a calming nature, is a joy to be around, and makes you feel so comfortable. He made each lesson relatable and was always open to answer any questions we had! He was flexible with our busy schedule and when it came down to the last couple of lessons before the big day, he made himself available for anything we may have needed. We felt so confident for our first dance and our guests absolutely adored it! We felt like celebrities being cheered at :) But most importantly, we had FUN! Andres took our vision and made it into the most beautiful reality!! We can't thank him enough!!! We look forward to taking the skills we learned with us on more dance floors to come!!

And as part of the evening, I even got up on stage with a mic, and he coached me on some killer dance moves that really paid off. What meant the most was that Andreas even showed up on our wedding day to give us a final practice before we stepped onto the dance floor.
