Our family recently stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful visit. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and our accommodations were exceptionally comfortable.
What stood out most, however, was the level of service. The bell staff were...
consistently friendly, attentive, and quick to assist with anything we needed. A special thank you to Edward and Jonathan, whose affability and helpfulness made a lasting impression.
For families traveling with young children, there is a lovely park and splash pad just a short walk behind the hotel, which was a great bonus. It is also an easy walk across the street to the River Walk, the Alamo, and several restaurants.
We would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again on a future visit!

Okayyyy so…Monarch San Antonio was actually a good stay for our little family trip. We stayed one night with our two kiddos (2 & 4) in a two-bed room and everything felt super new, clean, modern, and just easy. Beth at the front desk was an ang...
el and made us feel so welcomed from the start.
BUT WAIT. This is the part that got me. While we were out at dinner, housekeeping came into our room and secretly set up the CUTEST little tent with butterfly dolls, blankets, and twinkle lights for the kids. I’m not kidding — the kids were losing their minds with excitement and honestly… so was I 😂 It was such a thoughtful surprise.
Also random but important: usually hotel shampoo/conditioner/soap gives “meh,” but theirs smelled SO good?? I was genuinely shocked. And the shower was huge — like all four of us fit comfortably.
And can we talk about the flavored water dispensers by the elevators?! What hotel thinks of that? Tiny detail but it made it feel extra special.
Overall, customer service was amazing and the whole place felt family-friendly without being chaotic. If you’re visiting with kids, they’ve got a pool, cute butterfly art/structures around the property, and you’re close to the River Walk too. We all left happy, which honestly feels rare with little kids 😂 Would absolutely stay again.

This might be the best Hilton property in town! The second only being the Canopy when it comes to service and amenities.

e aromatic, calming smell. I decided to buy the scent at the gift shop when we left.
The roof top bar is the best in San Antonio. I was skeptical, especially after visiting the Moon’s daughter at the Thompson last Friday. I have to say, it was a superior experience! The Moon’s Daughter has an amazing bar, but limited skyline viewing.
Overall, whether you want to visit for the ambiance or, if you want to have an amazing stay, I highly recommend.
Lastly, if you want a view of the HemispherePark, this is where to stay. You have an optimal view of the Tower and
East SA.

ided great recommendations for the area. The rooftop pool with cabanas and lounge chairs in the water was perfect to relax after a long day and then we were able to clean up and walk across the street for a fun river walk dinner. We chose breakfast for the 17th floor rooftop experience at Aleteo and it did not disappoint. Food and service was top notch and prices were reasonable for the experience and quality of food. Gorgeous views of the new Hemisfair park from the room, which provided another fun space to explore. It’s been five years since we visited the Alamo and this location made it easy to walk right over and explore all of the new grounds and exhibits. Lastly, the room had everything we needed and we felt spoiled with the many great amenities, so much we couldn’t experience them all. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, highlighted by the beautiful grounds and kindness of the staff!

Very nice and upscale. We stayed 1 night, and will definitely stay there again. Great customer service and staff, what you get at a 5 star hotel. The rooftop restaurant was outstanding, try the tres leches dessert (outstanding). Great location...
and place just to hangout and relax!
