Located in Pittsburgh, PA, The Monarch Veil is a countryside wedding venue. It is nestled on five acres and is surrounded by an idyllic landscape that easily complements a range of wedding themes. Originally, it was a restaurant called Jardine's and then J-Barn Country Inn. After sitting unused for three years, the current owners took over. Now repurposed, this venue allows couples to celebrate with a wedding that suits their theme and vision.
There are three event spaces throughout The Monarch Veil for couples to choose from for their big day. Each features climate control to provide you and your guests with comfort during the festivities. Couples can choose from The Arcadian, Hearthstone Hall, and The Cardinal House. From its completion, the largest, The Arcadian, can accommodate up to 300 people. The smallest, The Cardinal House, is suited to gatherings of up to 80 guests. These venues feature rustic and chic architectural details. Examples include the stone fireplace and wood paneling in Hearthstone Hall. It has an overall industrial-farmhouse style that can be paired with a variety of wedding schemes.

The owners went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported from the very beginning. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. I felt like they cared as much about the details as I did, which meant so much.
The property itself is absolutely stunning—everywhere you look is picturesque, from the ceremony spaces to the reception area and all the little spots in between. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility of the layout. There were several beautiful options for each part of the day, which was such a relief in case the weather didn’t cooperate (fortunately, it did—but it was reassuring to know we had great alternatives).
If you're looking for a venue that’s both breathtaking and thoughtfully run, this is it. It gave us the perfect space to celebrate, and memories we’ll treasure forever.
