They had the best energy and played amazing. They really brought the great vibes and energy to bring everyone on the dance floor. The Moon Units were everything we wanted and more! Dylan was so easy to work with and understood the vibe. They got the party started and finished the night strong. The band's energy was contagious, our guests are still raving about them. I've recommended them to every bride and groom I know. Reasonably priced, amazing quality, eclectic song list and very professional - we loved The Moon Units!

The Moon Units were hands down the best decision my husband and I made while planning for our wedding!! First of all, they are all incredibly talented and you can see from their performances how much they enjoy and love music and performing. That enjoyment and love for their craft definitely shined and translated to our guests!! We received and are still receiving so many compliments about how great the band was and how much fun they had dancing to their performances, but also just watching them do their magic. The Moon Units, is the one vendor that any bride and groom will not regret hiring for their big day. They really made the night lively and they really gave it their all for every song even when there were only a small number of people on the dance floor. One of the special request songs I made was Beyoncé's Love On Top and I don't even know how to explain how AMAZING Sophie sounded hitting 4 key changes!!! I was so entranced by the performance that once the song ended, I regretted not getting it on video. My husband and I are really looking forward to seeing them perform again because they really are super talented and great performers.

The Moon Units made my wedding. It all started when my wife (fiancee at the time) forwarded me an Instagram clip of them because she knew I was set on hiring a live band. I took my sweet time to cast a wide net and to follow, interview, and compare A LOT of bands. We went out to watch our top two choices and when we saw The Moon Units' positive energy, ability to rock the crowd, and musical skill, we immediately knew that they were meant to be our band (just like when we saw the venue we wanted, we just knew). They are highly accommodating, musically versatile, and truly professional, Hollywood type performers who will seal the deal on upgrading your wedding from already great to one of the greatest your guests have ever been to. The three things that most impressed me about them during my wedding were: 1) they gave it their all on every song whether there were two people on the dance floor or the whole group (and believe me, your guests will notice this too), 2) they were able to improvise to seamlessly integrate with all my other vendors and moving parts without any interruptions, as if my wedding was truly an entertainment production, and 3) whether they were singing rock, hiphop (yacht version), metal, r&b, pop, Kpop, oldies, or jazz, they performed as if it was their main genre. We requested them to learn two of our favorite songs that we loved but were skeptical that they could perform because of how hard they were to sing, and man did they prove us wrong! Each of the musicians are friendly, multi talented/multi instrument, down to earth people who love what they do and have a great time performing. They output pure sound candy and also look great doing it. Your stage will be glammed up and filled out, and your guests will compliment and remember your band choice even more than your food, I guarantee it. My wife and I are now semi-groupies (and I'm not ashamed as their gigs take me back to the best night of my life), and we aren't the only ones! That's something that no Youtube clip or online review can really convey. Good luck and have a great time wedding planning, but hire The Moon Units!!!

Found the The Moon Units online and booked them for our wedding. Dylan was awesome and easy to work with. Always professional and responsive. Everybody At the wedding absolutely loved them, they were the talk of the party other than me and my new wife Hazel. They were the best, and would recommend them with no hesitation to anyone. I want to thank them again for a great night, they made our wedding so memorable. =)

We had the pleasure of having The Moon Units perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We enjoyed working with Dylan, he was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to our big day, Dylan and the band were very professional, helping us sort out all the specific details well in advance. One of the highlights was when they specially learned a song for our first dance. It was such a personal touch that made the moment unforgettable. They also performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Can't Help Falling in Love" for our ceremony, which was perfect. They kept the energy high and the good vibes all night long. The Moon Units were hands down the best part of our night. They played during and after dinner for us. They nailed the vibe of our party and played music that was a hit with all the guests. The musicians were amazing and they really brought an amazing energy. Everyone told me how much they loved the band and the venue owner asked for their name to recommend to other couples. Communication leading up to the wedding was great. They did an amazing job learning new songs for us (we gave them a real wild card) and brought so much energy. They even played a few bars In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida spur of the moment as a request from my dad. All the musicians were incredible and they were really able to get a solid depth of repertoire. Couldn't recommend the Moon Units more!!!!

We booked the Moon Units for our wedding and were so happy we decided to get a live band for our wedding. From the start of planning to the end of the reception, the band was extremely professional, easy to work with, and most importantly, fun! All our guests would not stop commenting on how much energy the band brought to our reception. We also did a portion of live karaoke for all out titas and had a blast. We reached out to The Moon Units to see if they could play our wedding and reception. Let. Me. Tell. You. This. We had no idea what a gem we were getting. From start to finish this group was amazing. In the very beginning, Dylan reached out to ask questions and get a feel for what we wanted. We talked through the timeline and "vibe" and with every question he had multiple ideas and options of how to make it work. Our wedding was very DIY. So to have someone on the other end that was calm, kind and super professional made all the world of difference to us. When it came to the music... They crushed it. Crushed it. We had SO many of our guests tell us they were one of the highlights of the evening. You want to have a calm musical presence that doesn't add stress to your crazy day? The moon Units You want your guests to dance all night long?? The. Moon. Units. I should also say this. I am a professional musician myself, so this is not coming TOTALLY from a gushing groom that's obsessed with his own wedding. These guys gave everything we hoped for and more. Please make it easy on yourself and let your guests dance and have an absolute party. My wife and I truly couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

What can we say about The Moon Units that would adequately describe our experience of working with them? Next to deciding to propose to my bride, selecting The Moon Units was our next best decision! It might seem cliché, but it feels clandestine that they were to be the band that my bride and I would hire to perform at our wedding. Music is very important us. We believe that music can set the tone for an event, so it was of the utmost importance to my bride and I that we find the perfect band for our wedding. After weeks of searching for the right band, and seeing footage of many competent but corporately concocted “bands” my bride discovered The Moon Units. The name alone had me sold! (My bride and I have had many cosmic coincidences and blessing in our relationship, so the celestial name alone was enough to pique my interest!) That said, once I saw their superb musicianship and that they are an actual working band, my interest was even stronger. After a quick call with Dylan, we were struck by his kind, personable demeanor, his easy, yet very professional manner and inquisitive interest in us as a couple and our musical tastes, we were sold! It was a refreshing experience after weeks of calls and zoom meetings with some impersonal and caustic corporate event organizations. By being extremely flexible with accommodating and collaborative with our special requests, The Moon Units took time and special care to provide a comprehensive approach to ensure that the sound for our wedding was perfect. My bride and I knew that were in such good hands, The Moon Units not only provided the entertainment for our reception, an acoustic quintet made up of members of the band provided music for our ceremony, and Dylan personally handled coordinating the string quartet that played our cocktail reception. Writer/Comedian Larry David said that when hiring writers for Seinfeld, “many times it came down who was an ‘easy hang’.” In other words, whom would you like to spend so much time with. Dylan and all members of the Moon Units are the definition of an “easy hang.” After seeing their performances, witnessing their superb musicianship and the time that we spent with them at one of their gigs between sets, it was like seeing and hanging out with old friends. The laughs and smiles were quick. After a few minutes they began their second set and we were blown away with their musicianship! Sophie has the voice of an angel yet such incredible range and versatility, Jamey has a superb voice and charisma. Just when you think Mikey is just an excellent keyboardist, here he comes out-front to bring down the house by singing a tune with his rich deep voice. Not since Earth, Wind & Fire’s bassist Verdine White, has there been as great a bassists who can smile, sing and dance all while playing an infectious groove on bass! The Moon Unit’s Brian does that and so much more! Of course, as the legendary James Brown said, “you’ve got to give the drummer some,” The Moon Unit’s excellent drummer Taylor holds it all together giving the show a heartbeat to it all and expertly handing all of the different time signatures. The Moon Unit’s Saxophonist, Ross absolutely nails each solo and the accompanying horn players gave such warmth and depth to the arrangements. Their sound rivals any current Chicago and/or Steely Dan performance. My bride and I are not what would be classified as dancers of any sort. Many of our hand selected songs were not typical dance music. However, with a band this good, you cannot help but get up and move! Special kudos and praise for their superb rendition of Earth, Wind, & Fire’s ‘September’, one of our favorite songs. Throughout what was a magical evening, the common denominator was the music of The Moon Units. From a stirring rendition of Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’; to Anita Baker’s ‘Same Ol’ Love’ (365 Days a Year); to Paul Simon’s, ‘You Can Call Me Al” (complete with superb bass solo, trumpet and music video choreography; to Duran Duran’s “Rio”; to the New Radicals’ anthem, ‘You Get What You Give’ it all was an incredible evening because of the music, and because that music was played and sang by gifted and talented musicians and singers. All of this is held together by the superb leadership of Dylan, who is a great band leader and a master a putting together a great setlist, understanding and working an audience, and on top of those skills, throw in his excellent playing both lead and rhythm guitar and executing perfect guitar solos. I could go on and on about our superb and magical experience working with The Moon Units; however, I will just make the friendly suggestion that you see, hear and experience them for yourself! You will not be disappointed. And you will be looking for any excuse to book them again, just like my bride and I!

What a talented band! They can cover a wide range of genre and appeal to a wide age range. Super easy to work with and very accommodating. Even at the last minute, they came through with an option that totally fit within our budget. What more could you ask for? Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

The Moon Units provided the best musical entertainment we could have hoped for, at our recent wedding in Orange County. Dylan worked with us to create a perfect song list and was very accommodating and patient in the process. Our guests loved the band, their style and the music selections and had a lot of fun on the dance floor. Several people really wanted to dance during dinner service because they enjoyed the music so much (we chose 40's-60's during dinner). Even our photographer had fun. I would definitely choose The Moon Units again for a special occasion and they made our wedding day perfect.

So good! SO SO GOOD! My husband is big on live music and karaoke. Let me be honest in saying I was very apprehensive about having a karaoke situation at a wedding. Especially given how conservative my Persian family is. It was literally the one thing my husband requested for this wedding and he did all the leg work so I felt like I had to give him this one. I was so wrong in my initial apprehension. The Moon Units is a fantastic live band! The way we set it up was by having them play live music for the ceremony, the bulk of the reception, and then ended with 45ish minutes of karaoke. People signed up for karaoke beforehand so there was no awkward situation of waiting around for people to pick up the mic and start singing. EVERYONE was into it! We literally had people jumping on stage when they heard other people singing songs they knew and joining in on the fun. I cannot recommend them enough, especially if you are like me and apprehensive about a karaoke situation. Let me tell you, I was blown away! It was a major crowd pleaser! Additionally, our venue, the Houdini Estate, and many of the other venues we toured, generally prefer a DJ option for music. Houdini in particular had many sound requirements that The Moon Units went out of their way to comply with. We even had a dedicated person checking decibel levels at all times. They were such a breeze to work with and did a lot of leg work on their own to get approved by the venue to play there. I really appreciate all the pre-event effort they exerted on our behalf. We are still getting compliments on our choice of band a month after the event, live music really just completely ups the vibe of your event. Me and my husband are so happy with the service The Moon Units provided on every level.

The Moon Units MADE our wedding exceptional! From the live trio accoustic music at our ceremony to the full band during the reception, having them as our live band made our wedding super special. Our guests couldn't stop raving about our band! Also, working with Dylan leading up to our wedding was always great. He has great communication and always replied to our questions and requests promptly. Special mention to the bassist for ROCKING OUT at the reception and bringing the energy!! We hired the Moon Units for our daughter’s wedding in Camarillo in early September 2023. We could not have been happier with our choice! Dylan was great to work with, both in the planning stages and at the final event. And the band totally rocked their sets, especially the two lead singers who blew away our guests. And although they’re great performers, we never got the vibe that they were showing off or trying to steal the spotlight; they beautifully made the audience’s dancing and enjoyment the most important aspect. Bottom line: they hit the perfect note for this kind of party. I’m a professional classical musician, so I had a pretty good understanding of what might be involved with working with a wedding band. Dylan was really helpful and accommodating in the pre-planning to all of our needs and requests. I was pretty amazed at the list of repertoire that they had available: over 500 tunes! And the band learned three tunes specifically by request of the bride and groom, including a tricky and obscure anime soundtrack piece. At the actual event, the whole group was the epitome of helpfulness and professionalism. We had a pretty complicated setup for the sound tech, including providing live sound for the ceremony area, playback for the cocktail hour area, and a live performance set of family musicians at the reception area. Dave was great to work with, quickly setting levels and mixing the different inputs for the open mic set. And the volume levels for the band’s sets (first, a jazz trio at dinner and later the dance-party set with the whole band) were at the perfect volume to allow for conversation while still being present. I can’t recommend the Moon Units any higher for a wedding; they were great to work with before, during and after the party, and their price-point was very competitive. All of the musicians were top-level, and the groove of the band showed how much time and experience they have playing together. The singers, especially the lovely woman in the group, were exceptional, both in intonation and style. My advice: book ‘em!

The Moon Units are a fantastic wedding and event band. As an event producer myself, I always love working with talented professionals that bring their genuine personalities to the gig. The wide variety in the catalog of music they can perform was worth more than the very reasonable price to have a live band entertain the guests. The added bonus of the live band karaoke set, gave my friends the chance to shine with amazing musicians supporting them. At the end of the day, they felt like part of the family.

The Moon Units were one of the BEST vendors we worked with in planning our wedding. They're communicative, kind, and super easy to work with. On top of all that, they're incredibly talented. We've been joking that not a lot of alcohol was drank because people were too busy dancing, but I think it's true! They kept the party going and really outdid themselves. Wow. The Moon Units really brought it for our wedding reception at Castle Green! With their extensive song list, it gave us plenty of amazing song choices to have at our reception. Being that it's an actual band and not an agency gave a unique energy during their performance, which, as a musician myself, is important and helps bring out the best in the band! They have affordable packages for any budget and each package has a lot included with it! Add ons for any package are an option as well to perfect what you're looking for. Dylan was so easy to work with, very communicative, and was flexible with our requests. They make great MCs and they really played everything we wanted to hear! Once the dance floor opened, it was always packed with our guests dancing the night away! I can't recommend The Moon Units enough!

The Moon Units are the absolute best. They delivered the perfect combination of funk, soul, and rock and roll; I received tons of compliments afterwards about how much the band elevated the experience for guests. In addition to being fantastic musicians, they are lovely people: easy to work with and flexible with inevitable last-minute changes.

The Moon Units are the absolute best!!! We hired them for our wedding and they were a huge hit, duh. Reasons why live karaoke is better than standard pre-recorded karaoke: It doubles as a dance band, people WILL dance and cheer! It's extremely fun, full of energy, and sounds great. If you screw up, they make you look good. If you're ready for a song to end, you can stop where you need to, and they make it come to a natural end, because they are PROS! They sing backup, play solos, and MC the whole process. Also? They're just a lovely bunch. Just do it, it's absolutely worth it.

Definitely our favorite vendor! The Moon Units did everything right from the first time we spoke to Dylan to the final note played by his amazing band. This group has so much talent across the board. How many bands can play Billie Holiday, The Pixies, Dua Lipa, George Strait, Warren G, and The Offspring in the same night, and sound amazing doing all of them?? We also appreciated how kind and approachable everyone in the group was. They worked really hard to make sure that our wedding music sounded exactly like we dreamed it would. The Moon Units are a real class act. Charismatic, enthusiastic, sincere, and full of gusto. Their range was incredible and played the perfect songs for each portion of our wedding to get the right vibe and energy for the moment. Dylan the band leader worked closely with us in the months leading up to the wedding to select the perfect set list, coordinate with our wedding venue, and accommodate the moments we had planned to make our day special and personal. During the entire experience he was nothing but professional and kind. He was a true gentleman. His band plays beautifully and brought a ton of energy to the wedding. My guests were razzled and dazzled all night and had nothing but positive things to tell us afterwards. Sophie and Jamey sang so beautifully that I was moved to tears. Brian performed an amazing guitar solo to a cover of Bye Bye Bye and my guests were eating it up the whole time. Curtis was killing it on the keys. Each and every band member that I had the pleasure of meeting during the wedding were so kind and so friendly. Everything went ahead smoothly and we were able to work with Dylan and the band to find solutions and alternatives to all the hiccups that naturally occur when planning such an important event. The Moon Units come highly recommended from both my wife and myself. We could not have been any happier with our decision to choose live music over hiring a DJ. The band was one of the most memorable parts of the night and the experience would have been completely different without them. I could feel a true sincerity from them and their performance. Where to begin! I should first summarize by saying that The Moon Units were the absolute highlight of our wedding celebration and perfect in every way imaginable. So go book them now! As for the actual performance -- the high-level energy and talent on display made for such an unforgettable time. Everything about their band is top-notch and professional. Dylan, the band leader and point of contact leading up to our event, was wonderful to work with. He always stayed in constant communication and worked with us directly to get every detail right. Obviously, a lot of planning and preparation goes into a wedding, so it was comforting to know I could rely on him and not have to worry about that aspect of our wedding at all. They have an epic catalog of songs to choose from to craft a perfect playlist, and they even learned a few additional songs just for us! Their rates are also extremely reasonable relative to what you find around Los Angeles (and I did a TON of research). Overall, it was by far the best investment we could have made, and the memories The Moon Units were able to provide for us and our guests made for what is surely one of the best nights of our lives. I can't recommend them enough!

We had The Moon Units play at our wedding in Palm Desert and they were a blast! They kept the dancefloor rocking until the very end of the night and were such a pleasure to work with. Could not recommend them more.

Hands down our BEST VENDOR EVER. Dylan and the entire band worked with us for over a year and a half due to postponing for COVID. They added in the ceremony music (including a singer + stand up bass!) as well as learning all of our first dance songs for our reception. Literally received compliments from all of our guests as to how amazing they were and kept the party going, even down to playing the Cupid Shuffle and Wobble for us on their break! HIGHLY recommend + we're even trying to figure out anywhere else we can hire them!!

The Moon Units are a fantastic, versatile wedding band that put the fun factor of our wedding over the top! We had first seen them at a friend's birthday party, where they'd provided live karaoke services, and knew they'd be able to bring it. Here's what worked so well for us: -Dylan was the perfect point of contact: professional and quick to respond -The band is immensely talented, raised the energy of the party, had a gigantic song list, and can basically handle anything you throw at them in terms of requests -They were able to cover every aspect of entertainment: MC services, live music, live karaoke, playing pre-recorded music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and lighting and sound -The rates were insanely reasonable for what they're capable of providing! The party is the most important part of any wedding, and these guys bring the party.

Just a fantastic experience from start to finish with the incredible Moon Units. This group is as talented as any national touring act, but they're so down to earth and flexible and fun to work with. We particularly liked how skilled they were across multiple genres and how well they played together as a group. You could tell they've spent a lot of time developing their on stage chemistry. I strongly recommend The Moon Units to anyone looking for a top notch musical group with an amazing range of talents. Bands this good are not easy to find. We feel so lucky that we got The Moon Units!

This is the most amazing band I have ever heard wedding or otherwise!! They are amazing, so much fun and really keep the crowd dancing! if you are looking g for a band that actually sounds great and doesn’t have any cheesy-ness I would highly highly recommend these guys cause they really bring it! Also Dylan is a dream to work with he is so understanding of the whole wedding process and really makes it so easy to work with him and the rest of the band

This band rules! My family is famous for our debates, but EVERYONE agreed we picked an amazing band for our wedding. They all loved The Moon Units, especially my nephew who wants to be a drummer and was mesmerized the whole time. I don't think you could find a better combination of professionalism, personality, and overall talent. People danced all night and we got so many compliments. Hire The Moon Units with confidence. What an amazing band. From the day we hired The Moon Units to the final note they played at our reception, they treated us like their most important clients. Any time I would email with a stressful update from our venue or another vendor, Dylan's response was always "Not a problem, we'll make it happen." And they absolutely did. And sounded awesome in the process! Great players, amazing singers, and fantastic personalities. We were thrilled with The Moon Units. They took care of us and I'm beyond certain they'll take care of you, too.

I believe The Moon Units were THE BEST single choice we made in our wedding planning! And that is saying something because we also loved our other vendors. Seriously this band is so accommodating, so professional and so TALENTED. We really couldn't be happier. And we got so many compliments from guests. There are a lot of great things I could say about The Moon Units, but I'll highlight a couple. The first one was that their representative Dylan was so accommodating and friendly as he worked with us to finalize a format and a set list. He coordinated with our wedding planner and venue and so, honestly, we didn't have to worry about anything. They played everything we were hoping to hear and we told them to surprise us with the rest of the set. It was perfect. Another thing that really impressed us was the overall abilities of the band. They were so great at so many different genres and I really liked that they picked a set list that had something for everyone. They also learned a song that my maid of honor serenaded us with, which was a highlight. We chose to have their singers perform covers for the first half of the reception, and they sounded amazing. For the second half, we shifted to the Live Band Karaoke option, which was a total blast. We have a lot of performers in our friend group, so it was a perfect way to add excitement to the second half of our reception. I enthusiastically recommend the Moon Units to anyone. They are a fantastic wedding band, but honestly I'd hire them for any kind of event. That's how good they are. Music is so important for a wedding, it can really make or break your reception! I think having the Moon Units for our wedding was key in making the evening unforgettable. I'm so happy we hired them!

These guys were the perfect combination of professional, accommodating, and ROCKIN. They provided both cocktail hour music and played for the whole reception. They even brought their own sound gear AND MC'd the reception. My brother is a professional musician and said that they were 'legit.' They ALSO learned and performed new songs that my husband (and Dad ;) specifically requested. I could not have asked for more. Run don't walk to hire them!

I have been to more weddings than I can count, and when I was planning my own, I already knew the key to make the day amazing: the band. Thankfully I found The Moon Units! The Moon Units got a room of 200 people onto the dance floor before we could blink, and they kept them there with their amazing energy and talent. It was all styles from pop to jazz to Motown to classic rock. They let us pick from a list of 700 available songs and learned a few extras that we really wanted to have. Five stars is not enough for this band! Amazing singers and players, highly professional, totally fun and friendly, very fair price with no BS surcharges or surprises. Everything they did was first rate.

The Moon Units are aces. Whatever you’d want in a band, they provide it in spades. Professionalism 5/5 - Dylan was great with communication and explaining everything the band could do. I’m a big planner and he got that and worked with me to make sure everything was right down to the last detail. Talent 5/5 - Unbelievable that one band could play so many styles so well. Their lead singer Cassie has one of the most beautiful voices you will ever hear. All the players are top notch. Personalities 5/5 - Couldn’t have been nicer or kinder to our guests. And so much fun to watch them do their thing on stage. These guys are cool but completely approachable. Versatility 5/5 - They had the largest song list of any band we contacted. And they can do “live karaoke” and accompany any kind of singer in pretty much any style. Price 5/5 - The Moon Units provide incredible value. So much talent and so many options, and yet they also offered the best price. Overall 5/5 - Working with The Moon Units was completely positive from start to finish. FULL ENDORSEMENT from us!

I'm going to get to the point right now: Hire The Moon Units to play your wedding. Trust me on this. We did a massive amount of research into wedding bands before picking one. We chose The Moon Units for their talent, their flexibility, and the "live band karaoke" option (which was a major hit). Last but not least, we chose them because their price was a lot more reasonable than many of the other groups we contacted. Wedding bands aren't cheap, but The Moon Units actually offered more players and a bigger song selection than much more expensive bands. There really was no reason not to go with them. We used three of the band members to play our wedding ceremony, and then the full group played our cocktail hour and dance set. The final hour of the night was dedicated to live band karaoke, and I'm pretty sure that was the highlight of our entire wedding weekend. We really wanted our guests to have a memorable time, and getting to sing with a band as awesome as The Moon Units definitely accomplished that! To everyone who's reading this as they do research for their own wedding... I am sharing, free of charge, my secret to an amazing reception: Get this band! That is the secret.

The Moon Units are fantastic in every possible way. From start to finish, they take care of you, and they deliver a premium product. We liked the fact that this is a real band, not a booking agency, and the individual members are so professional, so friendly, and so good at what they do. Amazing voices, instrumental performances, overall talent, song list, everything! They also provided a super reasonable, fair quote for their services. It was such a positive experience from start to finish, and we enthusiastically recommend them to other couples. I don't know how you could do any better.

It is an honor to write this review for The Moon Units. They were, without a doubt, the highlight of our entire wedding weekend. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at the wedding loved them. (Yes even my now father-in-law, who is a professional musician and had to admit “that band is damn good.”) We loved their amazing lead singers, who sound like Grammy winners. We loved the incredible energy of their players. And we LOVED the horns!! Every time they played, the songs just POPPED. The band director Dylan is very organized but also very laid back. The band offers a lot of options, but Dylan presented them in a way that wasn’t overwhelming. He was very straightforward and never pushed services we didn’t need. He understood what we wanted, and THE MOON UNITS DELIVERED. Brides, grooms, I was in your shoes and kind of overwhelmed by all the band options out there. We chose The Moon Units and we could not have been happier. I will go so far as to say it was the BEST choice we made for the entire wedding. Hire them and you will understand what I mean!!

What an amazing and special day it was for my husband and I! We weren't exactly sure where to go in terms of making the best party and had made various inquiries, but we ended up choosing The Moon Units and that was one of the smartest moves we've ever made. Dylan was extremely helpful with all the details and calming my nerves because there were so many things going on, but his way of managing things was so disarming and helped put my neurotic self to a pretty normal level. I get stressed but he made it soooo easy. Brides, this is a BIG deal. You want someone in charge but not with a total controlling personality. It's rare to find such kindness in this town, balanced with having their stuff in order! But then there's the nitty gritty of actually delivering a performance. And here's where they're set apart. They're as good as any cover band out there, and Cassie was particularly a phenomenal singer, worth the price of admission alone. They really got into it and their energy was so contagious. You can tell they love doing this and everyone felt that. But do you ever have that fantasy of singing your favorite songs with an actual backing band? I certainly did, and so did a good number of our guests. Live band karaoke?! It's like a choose your own adventure novel, musically speaking. It can be nerve racking at first, but then having this band follow your lead and having your friends and family participate is indescribable. Yeah, there were some riskier moments with some of the songs, but that was part of the charm. Goodness, they have so many kinds of songs to pick from, too. It wasn't some overly slick production, it was a perfect balance of partying with a little class. That is what a makes a wedding celebration. All due respect to DJs and stuff, but you just can't replicate that. Everyone felt a part of the festivities, they were all raving about it, and still do. The entire band was so engaged and also energized the guests with their commitment. It was so great to see people come out of their shell! Oh, and like they were extremely affordable, like I was like, really? I couldn't believe how much party they brought for such a good price.
