The musicians were not only talented but also incredibly kind and professional. Some of my favorite moments included the beautifully arranged Christian song, “The Blessing,” during prayer and communion, as well as the whimsical yet personal modern selections for the processional and recessional. Scott was also a fantastic DJ throughout the entire day—keeping everything on track with announcements, speeches, and transitions, and ending the night with an amazing setlist that kept everyone on the dance floor. Without Scott, the vision I had for our special day simply wouldn’t have been complete. We are so thankful for everything their team provided. al and unique to us: a violin/cello/piano trio for the ceremony, a duo for cocktail hour, and then a mix of live instruments and DJing/emceeing for the reception. He really does it all. My husband and I are a little nerdy and wanted songs from anime and video games, but also something romantic and elegant. Scott took our wishlist (Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars, One Piece, Elvis) and turned it into a soundtrack that somehow worked together beautifully. I will never forget walking down the aisle as he transitioned from Can’t Help Falling in Love into the Cantina Song, then Simple and Clean, and finally We Are. It was pure magic. He also helped us with the timeline, cut our first dance and parent dances (thank you, truly), sent me demo recordings when I was anxious, and brought backup mics and speakers just in case. He really thought of everything and made the whole experience feel effortless. We had a small wedding (about 40 people), and honestly, we were a little nervous about the music—our group isn’t big on dancing, and we weren’t sure what kind of vibe would feel right. But Scott read the room perfectly. Even though I gave him almost nothing to go on (my requests were basically “fun but not cheesy, not too cliché but still wedding-y?”), every single song felt right. And somehow, he had people on their feet dancing all night long. That was some kind of musical magic. We’re still getting compliments on the music, and I’m just so grateful we found someone who cared as much as Scott did. He made the day feel magical and so us. Our wedding was slightly unique in that we had to shift venues about 6 weeks before, so the new venue had not a lot of space for the inside "rain-plan" - of course when we got to our wedding weekend it was the worst weather I could have possibly imagined, so we did indeed have to have the ceremony & cocktail hour inside. There was no choice but for them to be in a small corner, but they happily made it work. I had told them a slightly unique idea I had for both the processional & recessional songs, I had not heard them do it until the wedding-day and it was perfect. Additionally, I come from a family of musicians (my mom has her doctorate in vocal pedagogy & opera and we had a lot of her friends from her program attending the wedding) and they all gave super high praise to the musicians as well. I can't recommend Scott & his colleagues at The Music Boutique enough! They brought our wedding into realm of richness that we wouldn't have had without them.

ormed us they could also put together a 5-6 piece band if needed, and provide DJ service. They were flexible to accommodate our requests for music and flow of the day. The quality of musicians was great and had no complaints there. The sound quality was good but could have been louder throughout the night. Luckily we did have a packed dance floor most of the night given our guest count most people did dance at least some part of the night. I would recommend them for cocktail hour and ceremony, but probably not for reception unless you are looking for something more low-key.

He took the time to speak with me and my husband at multiple points along the planning journey to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The ceremony was beautiful! Scott and his string trio performed the music perfectly and everything was timed to perfection. When it came time for me to walk down the aisle and I heard the string trio playing my song it brought all of our guests to tears and I couldn’t have asked for a better moment. The string trio also delivered on exactly what we had envisioned for cocktail hour mixing in some of our requested songs with songs of their own. We used the Music Boutique to hire a saxophone artist to go along with our DJ and this was by far a highlight of the evening! We were looking for a very specific type of energy and worked really hard to ensure each aspect of our music selection delivered on that energy. The sax player really brought it home! He was lively and engaging and played all of our songs right along with our DJ. Multiple people commented on how great he was. I can’t recommend Scott and his team enough! He was great to work with and really brought our wedding day to life and helped us achieve the exact day we had envisioned!
