The Music Boutique

We found the Music Boutique at a bridal expo at our venue, Windham Manor. We heard they could provide cocktail hour and ceremony music, and after discussing more with them they informed us they could also put together a 5-6 piece band if needed, and provide DJ service. They were flexible to accommodate our requests for music and flow of the day. The quality of musicians was great and had no complaints there. The sound quality was good but could have been louder throughout the night. Luckily we did have a packed dance floor most of the night given our guest count most people did dance at least some part of the night. I would recommend them for cocktail hour and ceremony, but probably not for reception unless you are looking for something more low-key.

We loved our experience with The Music Boutique! My husband and I worked with Scott, who put together a perfect strings duo for our ceremony. We had some pretty eclectic song choices, and Scott was completely on board with incorporating those tunes into our day. Highly reccommend!

Scott made the whole process easy. He made sure to keep communication throughout the months before to make sure everything was perfect. The violinist Tim was amazing. He played every song we asked and more. It was so beautiful to hear the music walking through the woods to our ceremony. Absolutely recommend this company!!!

I’m so happy with our choice to use the music boutique for our ceremony and cocktail hour music! Having live music as a part of our day was very important to us and we wanted to ensure it was done right - Scott and the music boutique delivered on our vision! Throughout the planning process Scott was by far the most communicative and organized wedding vendor that I worked with. He is quick to respond and stays on top of timelines which made working with him so easy and stress free. He took the time to speak with me and my husband at multiple points along the planning journey to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The ceremony was beautiful! Scott and his string trio performed the music perfectly and everything was timed to perfection. When it came time for me to walk down the aisle and I heard the string trio playing my song it brought all of our guests to tears and I couldn’t have asked for a better moment. The string trio also delivered on exactly what we had envisioned for cocktail hour mixing in some of our requested songs with songs of their own. We used the Music Boutique to hire a saxophone artist to go along with our DJ and this was by far a highlight of the evening! We were looking for a very specific type of energy and worked really hard to ensure each aspect of our music selection delivered on that energy. The sax player really brought it home! He was lively and engaging and played all of our songs right along with our DJ. Multiple people commented on how great he was. I can’t recommend Scott and his team enough! He was great to work with and really brought our wedding day to life and helped us achieve the exact day we had envisioned!

We had the most amazing and magical experience with The Music Boutique. We had a strings trio + a piano for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The music was perfect, beautiful and felt like we were in the dreamiest episode of Bridgerton with the amazing pop covers they did. 100/10 recommend them for any event. Scott and his team are a dream come true! From the moment we spoke to Scott we knew we were in the best of hands. My husband is a musician and audio engineer so he knew from the moment we became engaged he wanted live music at our wedding. After finding The Music Boutique we immediately scheduled a call with Scott and were blown away with his attention to detail, communication, and professionalism. We were able to request specific songs that meant a lot to us, as well as specify what genres or songs we would not like to be played (e.g. Disney). Our guests were in awe of them from start to finish. We opted for the string duo due to the intimacy of our event, and had them available throughout our ceremony and cocktail hour. Guests were amazed of their talent and the music was absolutely beautiful! Scott and his team are the best of the best! You will not be disappointed!

Scott and the team at Music Boutique were excellent and such a special part of our wedding day. From the start, Scott was super responsive and proactive, periodically checking in as our wedding approached, and answered all our questions. Scott understood the vision and executed. We never felt pressured to add anything to the package beyond what we originally intended. Having live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour will be such a special memory and we can't recommend Music Boutique enough!

I couldn't recommend The Music Boutique more! We worked with Scott and ended up booking a piano/violin duo for our intimate wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. It was absolutely perfect! Scott was so nice, helpful, and easy to work with. We were able to provide a list of songs that were all over the place as far as genre and him and Hana were able to execute them flawlessly. Scott and the Music Boutique were the perfect wedding band! Scott was such a pleasure to work with and we heard so much enthusiasm about the music all night, from the incredible jazz duo during our cocktail hour to the 5-piece live band during the reception, as well as the DJ portion of the night. We really appreciated that they met us where we were at early in the planning process. Unlike other wedding bands, Scott never pressured us to plan a first dance and was fully supportive of some silly song ideas (Linus & Lucy to introduce espresso martini time? No problem!). Scott Arcangel and the Music Boutique string quartet were truly a highlight of my wedding. Incredible performances, with the exact versions of songs we were looking for and they even collaborated with our band and a guest who sang in our ceremony. Nothing was too big an ask for them and the music was perfect. I would recommend to anyone!

Scott was such a gem to work with. He was extremely communicative to make sure my day went smoothly as soon as we booked with him. We chose the jazz trio with bass, sax & keyboard and also incorporated DJ so the guests could dance to songs we all know and love. For the cocktail hour we were on the rooftop so the bassist and saxophonist played during cocktail hour on the roof and the 3 piece band played during dinner. It was fantastic. Scott knew how to read the room and use the vibes to really guide the night. It was perfect. 10/10 recommend!!

Scott and the Music Boutique were the biggest hit at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! I chose the trio and Scott even brought his saxophone playing son which was incredible! I have a family of professional musicians who are hard to please, and they are still talking about how amazing and talented the Music Boutique is!! Scott was absolutely amazing to work with! From the moment I reached out to see if he could make our vision for our wedding ceremony come to life, he was all for it, and even customized the music to fit our needs. I was more than impressed with his ability to take on new challenges. Our ceremony was in a different language so he took it upon himself to do some research and make notes on his sheet music. He was very accommodating in meeting all of our unique needs, including meeting with us prior to the event on schedule, timing, and song preferences. We had such a fantastic experience working with Scott and his team at The Music Boutique. We had Hana on violin and Chris on cello for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour May 2024. They were fantastic and our guests raved about their talent. The best part was coordinating with an Opera singer from our family for a spectacular rendition of La Vie En Rose. Scott was incredible! I had a specific song I was hoping to use for the wedding processional and Scott and his amazing musicians learned the entire song and performed it absolutely perfectly! Truly talented artists!

Scott was an absolute dream to work with - he was so attentive in the many months leading up to our wedding, always checking in with us and being quick to respond. We hired the Music Boutique for live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour and Scott DJ'd our reception, and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Wow. What an amazing experience! My wife and I requested the piano/cello duo from The Music Boutique to perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Scott was our primary contact and pianist; from the very beginning he was kind and attentive - asking questions on what we were looking for and how he could make our day magical. He did not disappoint. Not only was their performance incredible but they also made it highly personalized. For example, I requested a particular (not-so-well-known) song for them to play during the procession called Dawn by Daniel Paterok. Scott replied that he hadn't heard of it before but he would look into it. Later on we learned that Scott had personally contacted the artist and requested his sheet music. Not only that, but the artist didn't have the song written down to share, so Scott was given permission to write his own rendition and it sounded phenomenal! In addition, we requested several other less common songs that may not yet have been translated to cello/piano (i.e. Melt With You by Modern English) but he happily obliged and performed everything we requested. All in all, I couldn't recommend them enough. They made our special day something we will remember forever. Thank you, Scott and The Music Boutique.

They were so accommodating and excited to play to music I requested for the precessional + exit, and they played the music so well (it was very Bridgerton). I would book them again and again. The best part about working with The Music Boutique was Scott's enthusiasm and professionalism. As musicians ourselves, my wife and I were hoping to get live music in addition to a DJ. Little did we know that we would be able to hire both in one! Scott and his group were phenomenal-- from helping us brainstorm classical music pieces for our aisle processionals, to being totally down to cover our favorite song as our recessional (despite it not being on his list!), to curating an incredible selection of jazz standards for our cocktail hour, the musical artistry that you'll get from Scott and his crew was beyond our expectations. For the reception, Scott seamlessly transitioned to DJ/Emcee and hit every one of our dance music requests. Beyond his talents, he was just a delight to work with-- always asking us if there was anything else he could do to make our day magical.

Scott Arcangel was the perfect addition to our intimate wedding in upstate New York. We didn't have enough people for a big dance floor, but did want a few moments of dancing and Scott was able to bring our vision to life (in addition to providing beautiful musical components to our ceremony). Scott was also adaptable in response to the rain we had on our wedding day and responsive to our wants. I cannot say enough things about Scott and the Music Boutique. We hired the Music Boutique to have a pianist play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. My husband and I enjoy some different music (Blink-182) that we were easily able to make a part of our ceremony because of the talent the pianist had! Many of our guests commented how amazing the music was and how beautiful it was to hear those songs over a piano. I myself had to approach the pianist during cocktail hour because I loved the music so much and could not let my gratitude go unnoticed. I highly suggest them for any even you are having as Scott is easy to reach, very communicative and professional! They will not disappoint and only elevate your event!

Scott is very easy to communicate with prior to your wedding. He listens to your ideas and dreams for the event. Music is wonderful and varied meeting the specific needs of people attending the wedding.

1000/10- Scott was a pure joy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, gave us customized options that fit our budget. We wanted to focus most of our budget on the reception, so we opted for the Hybrid Band/DJ option and no live cocktail music. Not only was he super easy to work with, but he added a bass & saxophone to cocktail hour for us at no added expense since a saxophone was something I had on my want list from the beginning. It added a special touch to our cocktail hour! He and his team adapted easily throughout the night especially when our groomsman asked for a special request entrance song we had not previously discussed. He made it happen- and to this day my husband wont stop talking about the entrance (and music that made it perfect)! Highly recommend!

It was an incredible experience working with Scott to put together the music selection for our wedding day. We are fortunate to have enlisted the services of Scott Arcangel from the Music Boutique. Scott was absolutely excellent to work with. Flexible, accommodating, always willing to assist us. We had a trio that played beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Scott was the MC for our reception were he compiled an arrangement of dance songs for the reception. There are so many variables that go in to planning a wedding and you find yourself feeling the weight of every decision as you try to “get it right”. Well, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we made the right decision having Music Boutique as a part of our wedding. We went with the trio-piano, violin, cello. You will be in good hands regardless of what combination of instruments you go with but I HIGHLY recommend you work with the trio as it sounds absolutely incredible. Their masterful performance of each song we requested had everyone raving about their presence at our cocktail hour. They were able to enhance our ceremony and truly make an already magical moment into something truly special. Throughout the planning process, Scott was thorough, flexible, and clearly showed his passion for his profession and our wedding. It does not matter what songs of their incredibly diverse list you pick-they all will sound incredible. We wanted a specific song for our ceremony that had to be learned and there was absolutely no problem with learning it-it sounded amazing. With that in mind, I am not one to typically write reviews. However, I feel obligated to let anyone know that they must pick Scott and The Music Boutique if there is any thought of adding music to a special day or event. You will not regret it. We hired a string duo through Scott for our wedding celebration and they were amazing! All of our guests were enchanted by the lovely violin and cello music.

Scott and his musicians made our wedding so special and added such a sophisticated yet fun ambiance to our event. He understood the type of music we wanted immediately and put words to it that we weren't even sure how to express. He also fully composed a song for my husband and I when I wasn't sure what song i wanted to walk down the aisle to, which is so special. Would always recommend him for any event or type of music.

My wife and I got married at Crystal Springs on 3/11/23. Scott playing the Sax was perhaps the most memorable part of our wedding reception and something every single attendee has commented on. We wanted a DJ but to also have an element of live music, Scott fit right in! He played along with our DJs setlist, worked seamlessly with them to coordinate using the sound system, and was in the crowd having fun with everyone the entire time!
