Music City Sound was one of the highlights of our wedding! We had the 10-piece band with horns and saxophone, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The vocals were incredible, the musicians were so talented, and the energy they brought kept the dance floor packed all night long. We had so many guests comment on how amazing the band was, and several even said they found themselves stopping to just listen because the music was that good! The full band, especially the horns and saxophone, added so much to the atmosphere and made the entire night feel like an incredible live concert. They were everything we could have hoped for and more. We couldn't recommend Music City Sound highly enough. If you're considering them for your wedding, book them! You won't regret it!

My husband surprised me by playing two songs with his friends, and the band let them use their equipment, and they even changed the words to one song to honor a family tradition. Will and Katie were easy to work with when getting everything set up, and they are excellent communicators. We got so many compliments on the band, and I’m so glad we went with MCS. Working with them leading up to the day was very easy. They have a process of picking out set lists and letting the customer do as much or as little of it as desired. I knew that I could leave a certain amount up to them and they would deliver it perfectly. It's truly amazing but they can play anything. We requested ranges of music between Frank Sinatra to Natasha Bedingfield and they crushed it all. We had them do ceremony music but wanted a friend to play the violin as well. Will, the owner, met up with our friend before the ceremony to practice together so that it was seamless but also sentimental to us. horns to guitarists to female vocalists - were insanely talented. Adam was the BEST energy and the whole team kept ALL of our guests on our dance floor all night long. They were super organized and flexible when it came to planning. They were willing to travel to Cincinnati, OH for us and were super accommodating with all of our requests. We really wanted an "East Coast" style dance set and the executed it perfectly. They kept the timing of the evening perfectly on pace. When it came to creating our set list, Katie who we worked with us for organizing, allowed us to go through multiple revisions to pace the energy throughout the evening exactly how we wanted. Their song list was very long but they even allowed us to make multiple song requests! We used their AV for ceremony and cocktail hour as well, and the sound tech did a great job seamlessly moving from event to event and keeping the sound level perfect at each moment. We hired MCS without hearing them first and are so glad we did! We would recommend them to anyone we know and we easily hire them again if we had another event! Our guests were raving about them and how fun the dance floor was for days after!

The each are amazing musicians in their own right but put 10 of them on stage and you get magic. As others have said, the dance floor was packed from the first not until the closing song. I can happily report I achieved that (and I definitely wasn’t the only one!). I did not want to miss a moment. The band was INCREDIBLE. The quality, sound and the energy they brought was phenomenal. The band also did a fabulous job learning and performing our first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dance songs. Our wedding night was very hot and our band members continued to bring the energy despite the heat. They worked so hard and it did not go unnoticed! Leading up to the wedding, working with the MCS was seamless. After our first phone call with CT I knew we were in good hands. CT introduced us to Katie, the Director of Client Success, and all my communication with her was so easy and efficient and she was also very helpful with any questions I had. When we were cutting our cake they played the song that was our second choice to our first dance song, and they did not know that. It was just one of those serendipity moments that made our wedding extra special, and confirmed that we had made the best choice in hiring The Music City Sound. We want to first recognize how incredibly skilled they are as musicians and vocalists. They played incredibly well together as a unit, with featured solos (both during dinner and during the primary dance portion) that were unbelievably good. The band can flat out play. As performers, the band takes great effort to ensure they remain engaged with the audience while always maintaining a set list with good “flow.” There was never a lull in their performance; our dance floor was packed until the very end of the evening. In terms of planning, we were impressed by CT’s (our primary contact with the band) communication prior to the wedding. He was proactive in ensuring that he understood our taste and vision for the evening (and their performance). We always felt heard and never rushed in our conversations with CT. CT’s thorough planning was evident in the band’s performance; their execution was flawless. My fiancé was in Nashville for a bachelor party, we live in Colorado and our wedding was in Ohio, and CT let him attend a soundcheck, so that he could hear them live before we completed our booking. I'm not sure any other band would have allowed that! Once he met the band and heard them live, the deal was done. CT was also amazing at communicating with us about our set lists, and he was extremely accommodating with all of our requests. Fast forward to December, and they absolutely crushed it at our wedding. The biggest feedback we got about the day was, "this is the best band I've ever seen at a wedding." The dance floor was full the entire night. We even had a few friends ask for their info because they are now interested in having The Music City Sound play at their weddings! Talented, professional, and fun, they really bring the party in the best way possible!

All night (and even still months after our wedding), our guests were gushing about the MCS and how talented they are. were blown away!! As were our guests - our #1 compliment from every single person was about how incredible our band was. Many even saying they were the best wedding band they've experienced. And we couldn't agree more. They made the night what it was and seriously brought the energy. Everyone was dancing ALL. NIGHT. LONG. CT and Will were absolutely wonderful to work with throughout our entire process - always super responsive, kind, fun, professional in all of our requests, advice, and communications. We were admittedly very needy and picky with our song choices, and CT & Will worked hard to guide us through what was and wasn’t possible. They were absolutely right with every decision and our wedding night would not have been as incredible as it was without THEM! To our surprise, our Best Man and Father of the Groom had (separately) performed renditions of two classic songs as their speeches. Unbeknownst to us, CT had worked with them leading up to the wedding helping them facilitate their insane performances. From the beautiful ceremony music until the bitter end, they nailed every aspect of the night and what we were hoping for. Far beyond our expectations. Thank you all again, a million times over!
