We used The Narrative Loft for a wedding reception. From the first point of contact, Breanna was responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. We were in an unfortunate situati...
on where our original venue closed down last minute, and Breanna made sure were were taken care of. All questions were answered (and we had a lot of them), the space was better than we even anticipated, and Breanna really worked with us to help our vision come to fruition. I would highly recommend this space for any event you are hosting! A huge thank you to Breanna and her team.
Your wedding will be PERFECT!!! I am so fortunate to have chosen such a beautiful and affordable venue; best of all CONSIDERATE staff. My wedding day, like many, was wild. The wedd...
ing planner was a no show. This meant I had no one to step in and help set up the event. THEY STEPPED IN! (A very small part of my deposit was taken but that's 100% understandable as they did someone else's job!!) They helped and made my day as beautiful as ever. I had a perfect reception and night! And if you have the pleasure of working with Bree, you can breath a lot easier. She will truly assist you in any way she can. If you want a beautiful and stress free night, choose this venue.
Bree and her team were AMAZING!!! I can't imagine having worked with anyone better. We didn't have a planner so it was just me (the bride) trying to figure everything out. I had to...
ns of questions over the 1 year getting ready for our event and Bree was happy to answer any and all.
We were able to visit the space multiple times to rearrange tables and decorations. No noise level limit or cutoff and we were able to have any vendors we wanted! (we had a cheeseburger food truck and mcconnels ice cream)
And the space itself is absolutely stunning! we didn't have to worry about decorations, just what we wanted to do to tables and such because the space was beautiful as is.
10/10 to The Narrative Loft and team for a great planning period, amazing day of and beautifully well kept event space.
Bree and the narrative loft are such a great find for the SB area! Bree was always super responsive and helpful, and we loved how many options we had to customize the space to matc...
h our vision. The space can really be made your own, and I love the juxtaposition of the traditional loft feel with all the greenery that’s added. It’s also super conveniently located - our wedding block was at the Hilton and it’s close to downtown for folks wanting to continue the party after the reception like we did :)
The Narrative Loft was the perfect space for our event! A rare find, the loft has an industrial chic esthetic and the exposed wood throughout the space adds so much character. We l...
oved that the space was centrally located in Santa Barbara and offered ample parking for our guests. The open concept allows for design versatility and creativity. We dressed it up with some bohemian decor and greenery and it was truly beautiful. Staff was great and easy to coordinate with. Highly recommend!
I absolutely loved having my event at the Narrative Loft. It’s located right near the Funk Zone and is a chic modern loft space that was exactly what I had in mind; I was so happy ...
I found it. Not only was Bree and her team extremely responsive and helpful, but she also used her years of experience to help me create the best layout and flow for my event. They also had most of the rentals we needed which saved us from having to pay more to another vendor. This space was so beautiful and unique, I searched every venue in SB (and trust me there are a lot) and none had the charm that the Narrative Loft had. I highly recommend anyone to have their wedding reception or other event here, you won’t be disappointed.

et what we needed, and reliable. The space was nice and clean and they had all the furniture and amenities we needed. I highly recommend this venue for corporate and work events! We will be coming back again.
Awesome venue for so many types of celebrations. A real delight to work with Bree, The Narrative Loft Director. Bree's attention to detail, and going the extra mile was extremely...
helpful.
This venue is a real bargain compared to other locations we researched in Santa Barbara. Plus, it's a quick stroll to the magnificent beach, providing a little bonus for our guests!
Father of the bride, and I give them Five Stars!
My wife and I got married here at The Narrative Loft and we could not be happier with our venue choice. It is such a stunning venue right in the center of Santa Barbara. The space ...
is even larger in person and has so much vibrance at night. You really don't have to do much in terms of decor! Our ceremony was just a 3 minute walk from the venue to the beach. We loved working with Bree, the venue director. She was so caring, professional and responsive throughout the process. It made booking our venue so easy! We also loved the fact that we could bring in whatever caterer we wanted as well as alcohol. This helped us be able to stay within our budget and still have our dream Santa Barbara wedding. We wish we could do it all over again!
This is such a beautiful venue. I highly recommend it. It has high ceilings and elegant wooden architecture for an open, yet cozy feel. You can turn this space into whatever you w...
ant. The event coordinator, Bree, is great to work with and so helpful at making your vision come to light!
I had my wedding at the Narrative Loft in early 2020 pre-pandemic. We worked with the Event Director and getting everything organized was seamless and communication was great. The ...
architecture and design of the space is awesome--it allows for so much versatility depending on event style/theme and even budget. It's really hard to find an event venue like this in Santa Barbara not to mention because of the location (non-residential) you can keep your party going until 1am and we took advantage of this and we danced the night away! If you are looking get away from the typical hotel wedding/event and prefer to have a space curated to your own taste and style plus the flexibility and creativity of choosing from any vendors + having the space until 1 am vs the normal 10pm curfew, you should absolutely take advantage of booking this amazing and one of kind venue in SB!
This is an amazing venue! My daughter's wedding reception was beautiful. Bree, the event coordinator, made everything easy for us and was always there if we had any questions. Lo...
