The Neeley Center is a beautiful venue and the cost is great when you're trying to plan a wedding on a budget! The biggest downside to our day at the Neeley was that the event coor...
dinator/manager was not very helpful/knowledgeable, could not answer many of our questions on the spot (did not make answers very clear), and was hard to get ahold of via phone. Other than that, we had a wonderful December wedding!

Beautiful venue with lots of space and all the amenities needed for the guests. We were able to get in the set up decorations the day before which was very helpful. We were very ex...
cited to be having our reception there.
However, the manager was very rude at times. In a meeting he told us we could make changes to our package, and then a couple months later when we went to make final preparations he told us we couldn't make those changes anymore unless we paid an upcharge fee. We had our own outside catering so we don't know how food would have been. Neeley Center provided staff to clear trash from tables and bartenders. One bartender was very nice, but the other was the manager and he had a bad attitude towards guests. The staff clearing tables were rude as well. Our head table never got plates cleared until the end of the night when I did it myself. The staff also started blowing out candles and trying to clean up our stuff an hour before the wedding was supposed to be over and guests got confused. It was almost like they were trying to kick us out early. When we were cleaning up decorations after the party, all the trash cans were empty and there was no place for us to throw away trash.
Overall, beautiful venue but bad service ruined the experience for us at this venue.
