Sure, we know how to pose you and offer direction when you need, but our favorite shots always come from those little moments that no one could plan. We like to say that what we do has less to do with using a camera and more to do with being attentive to people and knowing when to capture all those feelings, expressions, and little moments in time that will one day bring you a smile to look back upon.

Our company's name came from a jokey slogan Rikki thought of during a reception to describe how Wyatt and Evan act. We all thought it pretty darn funny, so we ran with it.
But who are “The Next Best Men”? We are crew of four close friends who have been shooting weddings together since 2015. We guarantee amazing candid photography, promptness, and an incredible time shooting with us. Hire us out solo or have us as a team. No matter what size your wedding we wanna make magic with you.

I fell in love with the color tones. I knew this was the style we wanted. They delivered. Not just did they deliver. My guests thought I knew him my entire life. He was that personable and mind you I never met him until wedding day and spoke only once or twice. He had a big spot to fill and he did it so effortlessly. Captured every single moment without fail and was an absolute JOY to work with. I have so many beautiful photos that truly capture the moment of this once in a lifetime experience. I’m telling you, he was so much fun, so easy to take pictures with (and I am so awkward and bad at photos). May I just say, that my husband who HATES taking photos and even though he was prepared to brave the storm that day, did not complain a single time during the photo session. Wyatt and Rikki made us feel so at ease, that posing was actually fun.
A week after the wedding, we even got some photos as a preview!

Not only do we have some GORGEOUS portraits from the day, but he also captured some of the most candid, hilarious, genuine, and heartfelt moments that we’ll cherish forever. Living out of state made communication or that person-to-person contact hard, but one of them would always respond within a day of my email. We met with Wyatt in July at the location he had so many great ideas and spots to make our pictures the best on the beach. We got married during sunset and we couldn’t be happier with the results. e where the photographer(s) end up keeping the bridal party for a couple hours to do pictures.. which ends up resulting in a lot of party time missed. My husband and I didn't want that. These two listened to every concern, every request, and even helped us with suggestions for different things like first look locations and what would be best for gorgeous pictures! I've been to some weddings where the photographer can get bossy and start to ruin the experience. Completely opposite with Next Best Men. The cameras were so quiet and the guys moved quickly and quietly that they were photo ninjas. We enjoyed them so much that we are going to be contacting them for a second photo shoot of us on our motorcycles! You will definitely not be disappointed if you book with Next Best Men.

a unique garden venue and I am blown away by the beautiful moments they were able to capture. Wyatt and Evan helped answer any questions we had during the planning process and helped us scope out beautiful locations a month before our wedding to get the best shots for our first look, family portraits, and sunset photos. It was so great having both of them shoot our wedding and they were so personable and amazing with our wedding guests, including my baby cousins who rocked the dance floor!
