The Nines

The Nines played at our wedding in Spring Lake on September 20, 2024. Not only are they absolutely fantastic musicians, they are fun, accommodating, and all around great to work with! The lead singer, Bri, is a tremendous MC and a very talented musician. They kept the crowd on their feet all night, and we had countless friends and family come up to us after the wedding commenting on how amazing they were! Their playlist is superb and full of hits our crowd sang along to all night. I would highly highly suggest them to anyone for a wedding or event. My wife and I can't wait to see them again!

The Nines were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I knew I wanted live music, but I had such a hard time choosing a band because it's not always possible to see them in action before booking. The Nines offer private previews, where the play a 10-15 minute medley of some of the music they will play at your wedding. As soon as they started, it was an instant yes. I could not stop smiling during the set and I knew I needed to book them immediately. Their management was great to work with throughout the planning processes, and on the day of, all the band members were so friendly and really hyped us up for the reception. We were on the dance floor all night. The pianist also played our cocktail hour and was fantastic. We will be recommending them to all our friends/family with weddings coming up and hope to see them play live again soon!

We hired TheNines for my hubbys 60th. My guests are still raving about them! They rocked the house! They are awesome at any event! They keep the crowd motivated and up On there feet!

We LOVED having The Nines as our band for our wedding!! I’m not sure what’s a better way to tell everyone The Nines are the best band ever than by writing a review over a year later! (Im such a slacker, but in my defense I had a 3 month old keeping me busy at the time.) Guests from our wedding are STILL talking about how much fun our wedding was because of The Nines! We danced and sang our hearts out all night long, no one left the dance floor. They have such a perfect mix of different music and they are so talented that they keep guests of all ages entertained . They played our requests and even better, they felt the vibe of the room and played favorites we didn’t even think to ask for! We wish we could have another wedding such to have them play for us again, but hopefully we can catch them at the hard rock casino where we originally found them! They also were great to work with on the planning side. We were a covid couple and had to move our wedding back a year. They were so pleasant to work with through all that stress and chaos. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a band for their wedding day!

We knew from the moment we heard The Nines in their private demo room that they were the only option for our wedding. They are true musicians that not only have a vast array of musical styles, but an affinity for sound quality and truly care to make a memorable experience. And they CRUSHED at our wedding! They read the crowd perfectly and kept all of us dancing and singing at the top of our lungs! We love The Nines!

You have to book The Nines for your wedding. We were recommended this band by a friend of ours and we kind of said ok, reviews are good and went with it. Best choice we made! Everyone raved about the music all night long and the next day. They were also super accommodating when my father in law and uncles wanted to perform a song. And when my dad wanted to make an impromptu speech! The band also let us on stage at the end of the night to sing and dance with them. It was a little hectic organizing our final song list and unfortunately the wind during the ceremony made the songs hard to hear, but by no fault of the band! RUN, don't walk to book them for your wedding.

The Nines are the BEST BAND EVER! We had them for our October 2022 wedding, and they were absolutely awesome. Working with their manager, Michael, from the beginning was a breeze. He was communicative, honest, and easy to work with. He advised and provided guidance throughout every part of the planning process and worked with us through various requests. We had asked the band to maximize dance floor time on our wedding day and they did not disappoint! I think they truly played for 5-6 hours straight. Our guests and venue both said they've never seen people up and dancing so quickly, or the dance floor packed for the entire wedding. I can't recommend The Nines enough for a wedding. They are extremely talented and know how to get a party started!

Best. Band. Ever! The Nines were amazing and made our wedding incredible. They went above and beyond learning two versions of our first dance song and it came out perfect. They have an extensive song list and their energy and ability to switch seamlessly between genres was impressive. Our guests were coming up to us all night saying how fun the band was and they are still raving about them weeks after the wedding. Everyone in the band was so nice and communication with their manager, Michael, was easy from the start and throughout the planning process. The Nines totally BLEW AWAY our expectations! Not only did they have such a diverse music selection, but they also made some last-minute changes to our reception after realizing that my wife and I are huge fans of punk rock. They rocked some Blink, Lit, and Fall Out Boy like no one else I have ever heard. They literally had everyone out dancing and it almost felt like we were back in the '90s attending Warp Tour! My wife and I are already considering hiring them again for our next big event. Not sure what that event will be, but we are trying to think of something because they were that good. They totally made our wedding exceed any of our expectations. Great combination of all genres of music, with a heavy rock vibe that was perfect for our style. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I also have to mention that they are all super nice and their manager was super pleasant to work with as well. Rock On!!

The Nines are the only band worth booking for your wedding! They were absolutely incredibly and made our night so incredible. The whole band sounded amazing and had everyone on their feet dancing all night! They learned one of our favorite songs and surprised us by also singing the Mother/Son dance song, we had no idea they were going to do that! Our guests could not get over how good the band was and have not stopped raving about them. If you have the chance to book the Nines, DO IT, you will have the best night dancing away!

The Nines are the only band worth considering for your wedding! Not only did tons of guests come up to rave to us about the band, but the venue actually pulled us aside to reiterate what a pleasure they were to deal with. I cannot begin to explain how amazing The Nines were for our wedding. They made our night unbelievable. Almost a month later and people are still raving about how incredible our band was. From the day we booked them until our wedding they went over the top to make sure our day was as perfect as it could be. They are extremely professional and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. If you are considering The Nines for your wedding I promise you it will be the best and easiest decision you will make for your wedding.

Our wedding got cancelled a few times because of the pandemic…now we’re having a baby and have moved on. Even after all they’ve been through the past two years, one call to Mike, and the refund check was in the mail. You’re dealing with good, honest people here. If their music is for you, hire them…they deserve it.

● People always have a good time if there is good entertainment! That could not be more true about The Nines wedding band. They were so kind, friendly, and outgoing towards everyone at our wedding. The whole wedding party was able to walk down the aisle to live keyboard music played by one of the band members. They also surprised me by learning to play a tune for my Dad and I to walk down the aisle to, when we had originally expected it to be played via a CD. It was beautiful and perfect. At our cocktail hour, another band member played the acoustic guitar while our wedding guests mingled and enjoyed our cocktail hour food. During the reception, the lead singer Bri also acted as our MC, which she rocked at! The band knew exactly how to work the crowd at all times so that the energy levels remained perfect. Our dance floor was packed from the beginning of the night to the very end of the night. They played music that every age range knew how to sing and dance along to. They even played a special encore song for us, after their contract time had ended, because our guests were having such a blast. I hope at least one of my friends will use them at their wedding soon so I can experience them again. They are fantastic! The Nines played our wedding this past October. They exceeded our expectations and were absolutely amazing! We originally went down to see them play in Red Bank and after seeing many bands we knew right away that they were the band for us. They are professional and talented and kept the dance floor packed all night long. I didn’t want the party to end!! To this day our guests are still talking about how much fun our wedding was thanks to them.

We rocked all night. The Nines were the perfect, and only choice for us for our wedding. I’ve been best friends with Bri for many years, so the band has always been extremely special to me. There was so much love in the room, it was practically tangible. They made the day so special for us, and of course, they ROCKED OUT. All of our friends and family were dancing the night away, and we’ve been told by many, it’s one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, and we can thank The Nines for that. The Nines are extremely talented, and they bring the energy. I have seen them perform probably over 100 times and I’m telling you, I have a blast every single time. I think I was most excited about the band for my wedding day and The Nines did not disappoint. We've been waiting literal years to have The Nines play at our wedding and the dance floor was packed all night long. We've gotten so many compliments on how fun and great the band was. They made it so easy to have everything from ceremony music to reception. They were very accommodating and easy to work with throughout the whole process. They have their own DJ and equipment so you know exactly what you are getting and there are no surprises. We went a little nontraditional and went from our first dance, right into party mode and the floor was packed immediately. I had the best time dancing all night long! Highly recommend The Nines!!!

I first saw The Nines play at the Downtown in Red Bank a few years ago before my friends wedding. She and her now husband, wanted us to have a fun night out and see the band they booked. We had the absolute best time that night! Their wedding soon followed and The Nines did not disappoint! Not long after their wedding I met my now husband! I took him to see The Nines play at The Downtown and he looked at me and said, "we are booking them for our wedding." At this point we were not even engaged yet but it wasn't much longer until we were and The Nines were the second piece we booked after the venue. The dance floor was packed the entire night and people are still telling me how much fun they had and how awesome the band was. We really can not thank The Nines enough for making our night even better than it already was. We had plans to see them the night before Thanksgiving but we made the mistake of sitting on the couch and the recovery process from our wedding was still in full swing. Our wedding was 11/09/18 at the Red Tail Lodge in Vernon NJ, We couldn’t of imagined picking a more perfect wedding band! The nines were everything we imagined and more. We saw them last year at The Downtown in RedBank NJ and booked them immediately after! The Nines killed it, they had everyone on the dance floor all night long!! We had so many people raving about them,they made the whole process so easy and they really know how to keep the crowd having fun! I would highly recommend The Nines for your wedding band! Our wedding was on 10/19 and people are STILL talking about how great the band was! The Nine's killed it and had everyone dancing all night long! They even coordinated with my friend so she can sing a special song to us on our wedding night! Thank you everyone you made our night one to remember!

If you are debating hiring The Nines, you can end you debate now and BOOK THEM! I come from a musical family and the pressure was on to pick a great band and The Nines exceeded my expectation in every single way! My husband and I live in Chicago so were not able to see them in person before hand however, Michael was such a pleasure to work with and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Their videos are great, but nothing beats hearing and seeing them in person. They really kept the energy up and people dancing the entire night. When the reception ended people were legitimately sad to leave. They have an amazing song list with a variety of songs ranging from old to new. Their ability to rap one minute and then play oldies the next kept every person excited for what song they were going to play next. And you can't leave out the horns! We did not have a lot of space, but I really wanted that brass element. The Nines are so talented that they were able to provide that without an entire brass section, which is amazing! On top of how great they were I actually got up and sang two songs with the band as well. (Crazy I know!) As you can imagine I was extremely nervous, not just because I was singing in front of family and friends but also because I had never practiced with them before!! The band made me feel so comfortable, calling me the night before to walk me through when I was going to sing and reassuring me the entire night that everything was going to be great! There were a few hiccups on my part but they were so supportive and picked me up when I stumbled. Everyone was blown away and they really made my dreams of singing in a wedding dress come true. All in all the band was the most important part of the wedding for me and I could not have picked a better band then The Nines. We got married in June and 6 months later people are still telling us how amazing they were. BOOK THE NINES, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

The Nines were amazing. They are one of the only bands out there that sounds and looks great playing both new and old songs to keep everyone having a great time. We had a huge dance floor at our wedding and they kept it packed all night long.

The band had everyone on the dance floor the entire night, they sounded great, and played with a ton of energy. The Nines were not only great the night of our wedding, they were also terrific to work with through the booking process and all the planning leading up to our big day. The Nines were the best band we could've imagined for our wedding. Everything was easy working with them and their music was awesome. From initial booking, through the planning process, and on the day of the wedding, the band and management communicated extremely well and delivered above expectations on everything. They are very flexible in setting up a plan for your event so that it flows and turns out exactly as you want. Through a couple planning meetings and emails, we were easily able to communicate our wants and needs and the band was happy to accommodate. On the day of the wedding, the band set up efficiently and worked extremely well with our venue and other vendors. They then did a great job providing music during our ceremony and cocktail hour, all perfectly timed, at a good volume, and sounding great. Our wedding guests were all saying this was the best wedding band they had ever seen. The way they transition and mash up songs kept everyone on the dance room all night long. Our one friend who was 5 month pregnant at the time commented even she danced the entire night because when the song changed it was another hit she didn't want to miss. The Nines were phenomenal and I'd highly recommend them! One of our best wedding planning decisions was booking them!

My friend brought me to see the Nines at the Downtown a few years back and when I got engaged I knew I had to bring my parents and my fiance to see the Nines perform so I could convince them that they were the band for us. They had everyone on their feet, from start to finish and performed our song, Thinking Out Loud for our first dance just as perfectly as Ed Sheeran did! I could not have asked for a better band and my HUSBAND and I (and my bridesmaid Lynna who put the Nines on our radar) plan on seeing them at the Downtown whenever we can! I know they're called the Nines, but they are a 10 out of 10 in my book!!!

The Nines were fabulous! From the moment we started working with them they were friendly, organized and cared about our needs. They played every song that we asked them to- from live band requests to DJ tracks, and they sounded fabulous. They provided live music for our beach ceremony, as well as acoustics for our cocktail hour. The lead singer/mc Brianna was wonderful and she allowed me to enjoy myself throughout the night without any stress- it was really a seamless process. Everyone was up dancing the entire night, and I’ve had numerous guests tell us how much they loved the band. I would book them again in a heartbeat and i can’t wait to catch some of their live performances. Book The Nines!

The Nines are the perfect band! We booked them for our wedding August 25th 2018 and they brought the entire party together. The Nines medley’s were packed with non stop dancing and our guests didn’t sit down once! Thank you guys for everything, we honestly can’t thank you enough for making our day perfect!

If your not using The Nines, your doing it wrong!!! They were the most talented/professional band out there. Their manager Michael made the behind the scenes stuff easy and stress-free! Every single person who attended the wedding said "That band was AWESOME." They knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor and played exactly what we asked for- it honestly blew us away. The Nines were insanely fun and our guests faved about them all night. My only regret is not having more time to dance! So fun. Wouldn't change a thing! Expensive, but worth every damn penny!

Where do I begin? The Nines did an incredible job at our wedding this past summer! We knew they would be special when we saw them live at The Downtown and Tiki Bar, where their covers were amazing and they went out of their way to speak with us individually when we mentioned our upcoming wedding. Planning/prep in advance of the wedding was minimal and they had no problem accommodating my sister's request to sing with the band for one of our dances. We also changed our entrance song last minute and they were happy to adjust. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the band truly did know how to read the mood of everyone in the room. All of our friends and family had extremely positive feedback throughout the night and in the weeks following the wedding. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band, regardless of crowd preference/type, and we're looking forward to continuing to see them live whenever we can. We're groupies for life!

We just had our wedding on 11-17-17 at Jack's Barn and had The Nines as our band. This band is a definite hit! Do not pass up an opportunity to work with them and have them for your wedding. They kept everyone dancing throughout the night and worked so well with us and the venue to ensure everything went well that day. All our guests could not stop talking about how great they are and the variety of music they know. They are upbeat and sound amazing! This is a choice you won't regret the day of your wedding.

Sooo I am extremely late with writing all my reviews for my vendors but I definitely had to because my wedding day was more amazing than I could have ever dreamed it to be! I do not even know where to begin when it comes to describing how magical The Nines made are wedding night. Our family and friends were up on the dance floor all night long and were loving the energy and talent that this band has. We are sooooo happy that we chose The Nines to be our wedding band because they truly rocked the party. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!! You will not be disappointed in the least bit if you hire The Nines for your wedding! I guarantee it!

We hired the Nines for our wedding on 10/7/17. From the start, management was incredibly professional and easy to contact and plan with. The day of our wedding, the band made sure everything was perfect. We constantly had family members compliment how amazing they were! At one point, we actually ran out of space on the dance floor! I would HIGHLY recommend this band!!

It's been a month since our wedding and for the past 35days I've tried to think of ways to throw another party inviting The Nines. We had a small wedding at a speak easy type venue... we wanted our special night to be a party and The Nines were everything we wanted and more! When I tell you that we danced the night away, we were dancing/jumping/rocking out/singing(screaming) at the top of our lungs until the venue kicked us out. If you are looking to add some excitement to your special day, check out The Nines to ensure you have a unique wedding that people will be talking about for years to come! Side Note: Did you know that one of their band members is an officiant?!?! Ya, I know... super convenient! Rob married us and although I couldn't keep it together long enough to walk three steps down the aisle without crying, fumbled my words and then was embarrassed and laughing at myself, he was super professional and FUN! He certainly made us feel special and we were so honored to have him help us make it official. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to The Nines for making our wedding so incredible. Cheers!!!

The Nines were amazing for our wedding on August 12, 2017. EVERYONE commented how great they were and what a fun wedding thanks to them! They are friendly, professional, fun, and of course musically talented. They really brought our wedding to life and everyone was on the dance floor! I would definitely recommend the Nines!

The Nines are amazing! After looking into many band options online, I was instantly attracted to their younger and more fun style. They're a great alternative to the typical older (and oftentimes stuffy) wedding band, but were still able to impress people of all ages at my wedding. They learned a handful of songs that we requested, and were extremely easy to work with. Many of my friends mentioned wanting to book them for their own weddings. I can't recommend them enough.

There are no words to put together to truly express our profound gratitude to The Nines for making our wedding perfect and more. Our wedding was 2 weeks ago and the amazing reviews have been NON STOP about how unbelievable our band was. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night and the energy was incredibly electric. There are not enough words to describe how unbelievable this band is !! My wedding was 8/5/17 and it is 8/7/17 and I could not wait to write them this review. They were the LIFE of our party, every person texted me the next day to say how unbelievable they were, and to top it off they were all the sweetest and most fun people to work with. They have the ability to get people of every age up on the dance floor and make it feel as if you are at your favorite concert with your favorite people having the best moment of your life. The NINES - you guys totally rock !!!! I wish i could hang with you guys every weekend and get married all over again.

The Nines absolutely made the night! my husband and I chose our date based on their availability and are so happy that we did. The dance floor was packed the entire night. They knew what to play, and when to play it, to keep the flow and energy level up. They were professional and so much fun. We loved their sound and style. Guests have not stopped talking about them. The Nines played at our wedding at the Shadowbrook in July. They were fantastic. From the moment they started playing til midnight the dance floor was packed. The song that I danced with my son they did beautifully. I would highly recommend this group and when my other children get married they will get the first call. What a great job they did!

The Nines is the best band you could hire! My parents saw them at the Eden Lounge in Harrahs, AC one night and knew that we had to have them at our wedding once they saw them sing "Crazy in love" by Beyonce and Jay z. They kept all of our guests up and dancing all night long! They are also so easy to work with and will learn up to three songs (that aren't on their huge master list) for your first dances. They are very accommodating and will make your entrances exactly how you want it! Their manager is also very easy to work with and communicated with us constantly. Overall, the band made our wedding so much fun! Our friends and family are still talking about it! A few of my friends who are getting married next year even grabbed their cards for their weddings. I hope they hire them too so we can dance with them again! Thanks the Nines!

I cannot say enough great things about this band! Their management was very professional and easy to get a hold of during the planning process. They are super talented musicians and learned the 3 songs that we wanted them to play. They also stayed true to our "Play and Don't Play" list during our reception. One of my guests told us...."I have never seen a wedding where people are on the dance floor, making the reception look like a NYC night club at 2am, before dinner is even served". People could not help but dance because of the talent and spirit that The Nines have. Book them for your wedding, I promise you will not be disappointed!!!
