About this vendor
The North Church Venue is a historic wedding venue located in Muncie, IN. This beautiful building was constructed in 1902 and initially used as the community’s place of worship. In 2019, a family purchased the abandoned property and converted it into a breathtaking backdrop for momentous occasions. This stunning location will provide an unforgettable experience for your special day.
Having retained most of the original architecture, The North Church Venue features exposed brick walls, tall vaulted ceilings, arched doorways, and stained glass windows. Newly added decorations include elegant ball jars on the walls, utility hole covers in the bathrooms, and unique furniture and lighting that give the space a gothic vibe. This building is ideal for hosting your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, meaning you and your guests can relax here for the entire day. Ornate wooden staircases lead to balconies overlooking the main area, and polished wood-paneled floors provide a beautiful terrain for marital festivities. Outside, you can find a charming garden area decorated with plants and antique furniture, where you can catch a breath of fresh air. There’s room for up to 200 of your loved ones to bear witness to your wedding celebration. Private suites are also available for you and your wedding party to prepare for the big day ahead. This spacious venue is ideal for live entertainment and dancing, so you and your guests can delight in the wedding of your dreams.
The North Church Venue offers wedding packages so you can find the right service for your special occasion. Their team will happily carry out the setup and cleanup of your event, and can also supply a list of esteemed vendors. Your caterers can use this building’s kitchen space and refrigerators so they can provide an impeccable experience, too. The rental of furniture such as chairs, barstools, and tables can all be arranged with this venue, so you have one less thing to worry about.

Megan, the venue owner, was lovely to work with. On our wedding day the staff was thorough and pleasant. I loved telling our family members and guests about the history of this ven...
ue and key restoration done to make it what it is today. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our special day.
The venue owners do not care for the safety of the wedding party. There were leaks throughout the venue that Megan was aware of. She did not do anything about them which could have...
been a safety issue, someone could have slipped and fell. We were also kicked out before the night was even over. They did not give any warnings whatsoever. On top of that, they had called the cops before they even let the bride and groom know that we had to leave. I would not recommend to anyone. It was absolutely terrible service.
Absolutely, terrible service! How do you kick an entire wedding party out of a venue, mid-celebration?! How do you run a venue and host someone on their BIG DAY, then turn around a...
nd kick them out before their night is even over?! Weddings are supposed to be one of the happiest days of one’s life and the owners completely ruined this for my friends! All the guests were from out of state!! The couple both serve in the Military, and had traveling guests from ALL over, and the owners not only kicked everyone out before their booking was up, they always called the cops to have us all removed from the property! The officers even felt terrible for having to evacuate everyone. No one was arrested, no one was found to be in any trouble whatsoever, the venue owners kept my friends money and we literally had no time to even pack up belongings or even call Ubers for the guests. The owners even had the audacity to call the neighboring bar down the street and tell them not to let us in. It just blows my mind how you could ruin what is suppose to be someone’s happiest/biggest day!!! Shame on you!!! I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Terrible and heartless people.
AWFUL, HIGHLY WOULD STAY AWAY. THE LADYS CUT MY BRIDE OFF AND MY GROOMSMAN. AND CALLED THE COPS ON MY WEDDING PARTY ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE, THE WEDDING VENUE LADY...
S HARASSED ARE PARTY ALL NIGHT, AND PROCEEDED TO CALL OTHER BARS IN THE AREA TO NOT ALLOW US IN. PETTY OWNERS AND DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT BUSINESS THERE IN. LET THE CHURCH FALL WITH THERE AWFUL BUSINESS. Do better as people you ruined my wife’s wedding day. Fucking trash
If you plan on having ANY alcohol at your wedding DO NOT use this venue. I can not express the poor management we received from Megan and Sarah.
