On your wedding day, I want you to feel all of the joy that comes with this special moment and be left with photos that document those moments and emotions in an authentic and beautiful way. The essence of my business is to capture a fun and playful spirit along with the real emotions of the day. Your photos should be timeless. They should tell a story. Ultimately I am here to craft pictures that encapsulate the story of you.
I approach weddings in a relaxed, "I'm here to help" kind of way. There's already enough stress that goes along with planning a wedding, and I don't want you to have to feel that on your big day. I can help answer all questions beforehand, walk you through the details, and help you build your day-of timeline. This way, there is nothing left to worry about. We got you!
The Northern Story Photography is a Michigan and destination wedding photographer. I am based in Metro Detroit but will go where you go!

Lauren and Nate are SUCH lovely people, they made me feel so beautiful all day long, all while capturing the special moments, staging some and helping us tell our story.
