I had my wedding of 150 people there and it was only unfortunately AFTER I paid that I soon came to realize that my wedding was the guinea pig for them as far as large events are c...
oncerned. The entire time that I had to deal with them I constantly felt as though I was being oversold while they under delivered. For example, I was told initially that they had enough space to accommodate 300 guests both inside and outside (outside ceremony + indoor reception). I was told that they were building an outdoor area SPECIFICALLY for my wedding…their intended idea of an outside accommodation was to have my ceremony in the PARKING lot with ONE sheet of imitation grass measuring 5’x14’…for 150 people. It was only after my coordinator and I requested it that they decided to order more grass. The event organizer, Jewell was constantly mixing up her notes..she would discuss one thing with me and then tell my coordinator something COMPLETELY different. She also messed up the pricing and tried to say that security wasn’t included even AFTER sending me an invoice. She found her mistake 3 DAYS before my wedding and said that if we were unable to pay the $700 that SHE mistakenly missed that the wedding would be canceled. Thankfully, we saved the money because we had a feeling that she was wrong even though we asked her at least 3 times if the price was correct prior to paying. The manager accommodated and only requested $350 as the mistake was on their part. The day of my wedding, my coordinator told me that her and her one assistant had to set up EVERYTHING as Jewell and her team had done nothing. Jewell also told me that the excess decorations would be removed from my bridal suite to ensure that we had space to get ready but everything was still in there, even AFTER I told her specifically where everything needed to go and what the decorations were to be used for. With this being said, my wedding was only halfway decorated the day of..I did not even get the gold table runners that she confirmed with me MULTIPLE times that I wanted. I also provided majority of the decorations from my own pocket and asked Jewell if I could sell them to the venue as I figured it would be beneficial for them as they were a new venue and could use them for future events. She agreed that it was a great idea and told me to keep all my receipts and that she would run it by the owner, Keith. For months she had me under the impression that I could sell my decorations and then tells me AFTER I asked AT MY RECEPTION that the owner had no intentions on purchasing any of the decorations. I had to return the next day to throw everything away to make sure that my decorations weren’t being used for free at their future events. I asked for the owner, Keith’s phone number so that I could express my extreme disappointment and frustration and he very clearly had no interest in talking to me saying that “I wouldn’t be able to reach him anytime soon due to a baseball game he was coaching.” So I am writing this review instead. 2/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND…extremely unorganized and contradictory communication the ENTIRE planning process. I truly wish that I would have known what I would have been getting myself into prior to booking, if your event is over 50 people…beware.

e, from the general look of the venue to the lighting to the AV system. They even have a covered outdoor deck bar! Even though they offer some preferred food and beverage vendors there was no pressure to use them unlike a couple of other venues we talked with. A dear friend that owns a restaurant is taking care of the food, and we have a bartending service set already. The people at the Oak Room were happy to work with them, and our decorator too! So far this has been a great experience, I know we made the right choice.

Amazing place for an event! Every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. Location were easy to find but nothing beafs the ambiance of the place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
