'Til Death Valley Do Us Part'
****Extreme temperatures prevent outdoor weddings May 1-Sept 1
A bride will always remember her wedding day; her guests will never forget experiencing Death Valley for the first time.
Death Valley is a perfect location for anyone willing to trade the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas for the glories of wide-open desert spaces with sparkling, star-filled skies.
The four-diamond Inn at Death Valley brings together the romance of Old California and the valley’s natural beauty. Take over our 66-room historic Inn, complete with its unique spaces which are fantastic for groups. From the classic pool to the lush spring-fed gardens to the roof-top terrace overlooking the valley, this venue is a vintage beauty.
Plan your wedding at our oasis, just two hours from Las Vegas, but a whole world apart. The resort, centered in the heart of the national park, presents a compelling contrast to Las Vegas.

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue to have our wedding than the Oasis at Death Valley. We were originally planning a reception for over 100 people, but due to covid ...
reduced it to an intimate family wedding of 11 total. Amber Shields became our de facto wedding planner, and she did a fantastic job of arranging the ceremony to the reception and everything in between. Both the ceremony and the reception were held in the Mission Gardens, across from the Inn at the Oasis, which is a lovely outdoor event space secluded from hotel guests and park visitors. Amber and the team at the Oasis were consummate professionals, ensuring that all of the small personal details were perfectly executed from the wedding runner, to the centerpieces and the cake topper. The Oasis was able to accomodate all of our requests, even with the small group, to ensure that our wedding weekend was completely stress free. Amber blocked out hotel rooms, helped with the "rehearsal" dinner reservations, and even arranged box lunches and dinner for the day after the wedding. This allowed us to truly have a vacation at the Oasis with our families, which is what weddings should be all about!
Planning a wedding at any time is complicated, and having a wedding during covid only added to the stress. We were in amazing hands with the Oasis, the staff was respectful of maintaining distance and was always wearing a mask. We were also fortunate that the entire event was set outside, which allowed our families to sit and relax at their own household tables and allay concerns about eating dinner together.
If you love Death Valley as much as we do, and are considering planning a wedding or another event there please please contact Amber Shields. We first were in touch with her in November of 2019, and her expertise and professionalism helped us make the decision to move forward with our wedding even with all of the back and forth during these uncertain times. The wedding ceremony and reception ended up being so much more special and memorable, we cannot thank Amber and the Oasis team enough for making it happen!!

We were married here in November. We had first been considering Vegas but after meeting Amber and seeing the grounds and then seeing the Vegas locations, we realized that we would ...
never get the customer service and unique wedding we were looking for in Vegas. Amber made planning so easy and she was very caring and went above and beyond for us. The whole staff at The Inn was great. Our guests raved about the customer service, food and overall atmosphere the whole time. We are so happy we picked this location. Not only is it gorgeous but everyone is so helpful.

My wife and I were married at the Oasis at Death Valley (formerly the Furnace Creek Inn) on February 25, 2018. Everything - from the early planning of the occasion through to the ...
actual ceremony in the beautiful Mission Garden venue - was seamless and first class. Amber, the event planner at the Oasis, was professional, extremely competent, and made everything work to perfection. The new venue (the Mission Garden), with its Spanish mission architecture, lush landscaping, and backdrop of amazing desert hills is both unique and spectacular. The ceremony, which Amber helped to arrange with a wonderful minister/officiant she recommended, was exactly what we had hoped for. The Inn at the Oasis is a truly special place, with rooms overlooking the expanse of Death Valley, great facilities, and wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Thank you, Amber, and all the folks at the Oasis at Death Valley for making our wedding a truly special and unforgettable day.
