The Ocoee River Barn

The Ocoee River was my wedding venue two weeks ago. I can’t express how gorgeous and magical it was. The string lights hanging everywhere give the barn a fairytale vibe. Meg was wonderful and was able to answer our every need. Two thumbs up and I would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

This is the venue you've been looking for! Very reasonably priced compared to the other barns in the area. It is located in such a gorgeous area of Tennessee. The inside of the barn is already basically decorated for you. She has tons of extra little things (wooden slabs, cupcake stands, an arbor, etc) for you to use if you choose. The barn has a small sound system if you decide to forgo a DJ and just want to plug in an iPod or phone. She really has thought of everything to make your day special. I received soooo many compliments on the venue the day of my wedding and afterwards. You walk in and the whole place just glitters. It has such a glamorous, romantic ambience. I can't imagine my wedding in another place. If you come take a tour, you will fall in love!! That being said, keep three things in mind. 1. The barn does not have wifi. 2. The barn does not have an actual parking lot. Your guests will have to park in the grass 3. I got married in August and it was very hot! Originally my bridesmaids and I were going to try to get ready in the cute little bridal suite, but we realized that our hair and makeup would probably melt off if we tried to do that. It is a barn, so even though it has a heat and air system, it is still not optimal temperature. Be prepared to hear your great grandmother complain all night long. As long as you can move past those things, this is an amazing venue and much more affordable than some of the others I looked at. I would definitely recommend it to others (especially those getting married in the spring or fall)!
