The Ohio State University Faculty Club

We went with the Faculty Club as our wedding venue because the location and service were great and they had availability on weekends we were interested in. The space is beautiful and we loved that we could use the whole building. There was a bit of staff turnover while we were planning that complicated communication a bit, but the day-of experience was wonderful. (My only other feedback was the lack of payment options - we forgot to bring a checkbook on our wedding day, which led to a bit of a mad dash to our hotel!)

We recently held a wedding for our son and now daughter-in-law on the patio of the Faculty Club which included the adjacent Colleagues Pub for the reception. Our son and bride were coming from California for a small (around 20) family gathering which meant some long distance arrangements. Amber provided us with excellent coordination of logistics both prior to the wedding, during rehearsal and at the wedding and reception itself. The food was excellent for the reception, beef tenderloin and a vegetarian tofu and rice dish that our vegetarian friends are still raving about. The dining staff and florist made the pub a very lovely venue for the reception. One caution, determine if you can if there are any Mirror Lake concerts going on during your wedding; we had a bit of early competition with a singer, but that thankfully finished before our ceremony began.

This was the only venue we visited and from day 1 we knew this was it. Amber is to most professional and knowledgeable events coordinator I've ever met, and I work with them on a daily basis. She was always quick to get back to me and answer my questions and always did it with a smile on her face. We only had time to rehearse the night before for about 45 minutes because of weather but she kept everything running and we were in and out in 40 minutes! The service by the rest of the staff was out of this world to the point that they brought me a drink after my pictures and one of the servers used to work in a bridal shop and helped my family bustle my dress when we couldn't figure it out. The food was incredible, the drinks were perfect, and the entire venue matched my vision. I honestly didn't have to lift a finger for our reception to look EXACTLY how I wanted it to look. They kept us in the loop with what our total cost was going to be, including an estimate for beer, wing and liquor. When we got the bill the total was only $57 off. That speaks to the level of expertise the faculty club has when dealing with parties. If I could redo my wedding (and lord knows I want to because it was PERFECT) I wouldn't hesitate to have it here again.

Our reception for 150 guests worked perfectly at the Faculty Club. Using all three levels connected by the grand staircase and elevator we had great flow. After dinner on the upper level, the dance floor and band were waiting for us on the main floor. The food was outstanding and our guests were complimenting everything. Many thanks Amber!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the faculty club and it could not have been more perfect. It was everything and more that we hoped for! Mirror lake was under construction so we couldn’t have the ceremony on the side of the faculty club but Amber worked with us to figure out a way to have the ceremony outside (we really wanted it to be outside). We ended up having the ceremony in from the faculty club and it was absolutely beautiful!! We are so pleased with how everything turned out. The food was delicious!!! Amber was so easy to work with and all the staff were so nice and wonderful! Best wedding venue!

We had both our ceremony and our reception at the Faculty Club, and it was everything that I could have asked for. I had several people tell me that it was the best wedding that they had been to, and I think it was mainly due to the setting and the service at the Faculty Club. We had our wedding outside, but were comforted knowing that they would be able to do it inside if it rained. All communication with their coordinator beforehand, Amber, was super clear and organized. She was extremely prompt in getting back to my calls or emails. Having the entire wedding from start to finish at one location was extremely relaxing, both for us and our guests. I could not recommend them enough.

We loved our wedding at the Faculty Club. The coordinator was accessible and friendly. She accomodated our requests and kept the flow of the reception going. She also coordinated with all of my other vendors, so that I didn't have to run interference. The building is lovely. They do full-service, so you don't have to worry about hiring a caterer or bartenders. The service was profession. We could not have asked for a better experience!

After viewing 10+ venues we finally decided on the OSU Faculty Club. We could not have picked a better venue for our classic, elegant wedding. The wedding coordinator that comes with the venue was amazing- whatever you wanted or needed it was taken care of. Laynie did an amazing job and I highly recommend this beautiful venue for your wedding. The other bonus is that we were able to book our outdoor October wedding at the Browning Amphitheater, which is just steps away. We have some gorgeous pictures we took around campus. All in all, our wedding day was perfect thanks to the help of the OSU Faculty Club.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Faculty Club, Laynie, and the entire staff....my family all agreed we couldn't have made a better selection and would go back there in a heartbeat. Laynie was EXCELLENT, excited for us, and made our day easy and stress-free. The only thing we were worried about was the location being hard to find in the center of campus, but our guests didn't have any trouble. Our food...gorgonzola chicken & braised steak was sooooo good. We did not have to decorate at all, the interior is so beautiful and elegant already...it was a great way to save money. We held our ceremony and reception there which our guests loved, we had plenty of room, and we couldn't believe how many staff members they had present for our event....it was amazing service, fast (no wait at the bar) and really overall impressive. What a great and special place for our wedding....we got AWESOME pictures....and I would recommend the Club to anyone with complete confidence. Thank you so much for a wedding where I truly would not change anything :)

The OSU Faculty Club made our wedding ceremony and reception perfect. The catering, operations and kitchen staff did a wonderful job. They made the planning process easy and stress free. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere! All of our guests said how it was the best wedding they had ever been too! We are so happy we chose the Faculty Club!!!!!

The Faculty Club is located within the Ohio State University Campus. A very intimate setting and a facility that is pretty unique.
