Once we chose Edgewater as our venue, we began working with Danielle as our wedding coordinator for the day, and she was always incredibly responsive, kind, showed attention to detail and was sincere in wanting to make our day special. The dinner was wonderful, the venue was beautiful and accommodated our 145 guests perfectly, and all guests were thrilled to be able to stay on site at the hotel while also enjoying the pub space before and after our reception. We would highly recommend Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center to anyone!

Super responsive and attentive to all details and needs for our big day. I loved the extra care taken for our guests with special dietary requests. The ice cream bar was a hit as well! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Nationwide Hotel and Convention Center. Plus having our bride and groom suite as a part of booking a wedding there was a bonus as well. The little surprises in our room at the end of the night were a delightful touch! They have a large hospitality suite available to book that was the perfect getting ready space for MUAs and myself/bridesmaids. The grounds are stunning and made for beautiful photos and atmosphere. ms. This convenience was why we booked here. The pricing for food and beverage was also the lowest we had been quoted while looking at other venues. We used the Grand Ballroom, which fit our group of 200 nicely, but was not exactly the style we were looking for. So, we did our ceremony at another venue that fit out style better. It was fun to hit the Pub after the reception closed down. Everyone we worked with was very helpful and made our day awesome!

Let me start with the venue, it is unbelievable, its secluded and every season there is just beautiful. You have so many options for ceremony and reception spaces. Both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. The food was literally AMAZING everyone ate good and we loved the additional French fry bar at reception. We had our own coordinator through the venue who was extremely helpful and understanding of all our wants. Danielle was amazing! We were given linens, cups, a space to store decor, a tasting, help with set up. option for adding decor, storage for the week prior to wedding, a suite for two nights, a room block for family, they were more than accommodating to my gigantic family and our needs. I had the perfect wedding. I wouldn't change a single thing it was so smooth with their venue

It was incredibly convenient having our venue as part of the hotel. We got a lively after party at the on-site pub. Couldn’t ask for a better location for out of town guests.

I could have even imagined! Literally took the stress out out me! She handled everything! The only thing I didn’t like was that since they are so busy, you cannot set up early. This stressed me out because I didn’t know how things would look. WOW, everything looked incredible!! Every vendor I had, has also worked at NHCC and talked so highly. They work with you to ensure that you have the most perfect day!!

With the venue, hotel, and pub on site (perfect for an after-party or welcome party), plenty of free parking, and a short ride to the Columbus airport, we literally couldn't ask for anything better. Their wedding packages include almost everything you need (catering, bar, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc.), which makes the process so easy and eliminates the stress of searching for separate vendors. Packages seem fairly priced for the Columbus market, the bar list is comprehensive, and the food is amazing. It was even better at our wedding than at the tasting. Everything was cooked perfectly, hot, and delicious. Our guests commented on how good the food was! The only thing I wish this venue had was a separate indoor space for cocktail hour. They have a beautiful patio that we were suppose to utilize but due to the rain, we got moved inside the ceremony & dinner rooms which made taking family photos a bit chaotic. Tiffany and Desi were a delight to work with, both very responsive and helpful. Desi was very helpful throughout the planning process, offered advice when asked, and knew all the questions to ask to make sure we had all the bases covered (plus has a great eye for setting up decor and details) and made sure our day ran smoothly. The decor storage before and after the wedding was super helpful as well so we didn't have to worry about it the day of. The hotel was clean and had plenty of space for all our guests and the getting-ready suites were very nice and spacious with a mix of soft seating, barstools, and tables, a half bath, a closet, and a kitchenette area. The staff boxed up a few dinners and desserts along with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and left them in our suite on the wedding night which was much appreciated and such a cute thought! We could not recommend this venue or Desi enough!

h a wedding planner/ day of coordinator. Who mine was DESI! I will be forever grateful for her. I think a told her many times how much I appreciated her when planning throughout the year... I was a very stressed out and an emotional bride. Desi was very warm and welcoming. She was my personal cheerleader and I loved it. She truly made it feel like you're planning with a good friend. I paid extra to have the staff decorate.. I gave Desi my Pinterest page and I had full trust she would do a beautiful job and she did! Lastly, my flower girl has Down Syndrome and she was extremely sweet and patient with her. Desi deserves wedding planner for life award! LOVE YOU DES! The food was AMAZING. All my guests were raving about how delicious the food was. I had many people tell me they don't often go to weddings where they get stuffed full. My personal favorite was the cheese stuffed pretzels and the 5 cheese tortellini. The rooms were very clean. If you secure your date before any other couple you have the option for a getting ready room. We went with it and it was a perfect spot. 10/10!! She knew all of the questions (and answers!) that needed to be asked/answered before the biggest day of our lives, kept us on track, and worked tirelessly on our day to make it the best day of our lives. The edgewater was positively stunning, and our guests raved about the beauty that came with the reception room, the water-front cocktail hour, and the beautiful windows in the dance hall. If we could do it all again, we’d do it 3x over with nationwide hotel.

Food was fantastic and there were so many options. And the quality did not disappoint on the wedding day! Everyone was raving about the food and no one went hungry! The beer and wine options were great and for the people who wanted something else the on-site pub was a great option for us. For the bridal party we rented the hospitality suite to get ready in and it was totally worth the extra money. It gave our hair and make up artist plenty of room to set up comfortably and had bar height chairs for us to use. It was a wonderful space for us to hang out in all day getting ready. We also paid for set up and Danielle and Ben knocked it out of the park. They absolutely understood our vision and brought it to life. Everything about our day went so smoothly and we wouldn’t change a thing!

ur planner and we were nervous about a new planner. Desi went out of her way to assure us that everything would be great, scheduled calls, and met with us. On our wedding day, Desi was beyond incredible and did so much more than we could have ever imagined! From set up, to talking to vendors, to keeping the wedding party organized, she did so much work. As the groom we probably spoke every 20 minutes that day making sure everything was perfect. We had a few hiccups with guest not coming or coming without Rsvping which complicated our plated meals and assigned seating. Desi told me about it and we got it taken care of right away and the party didn't miss a beat! Without Desi, our wedding would not have been the dream that it was! All of the rest of the staff at NHCC was great as well. From Brittany helping us in the beginning and during our planner transition, hotel staff, bartenders, set up, everyone was great. The property was beautiful, for our fall wedding and a summer wedding that we attended. The food was great. Bar on site to go to after the wedding. Nice rooms for you and guests to stay in. We could not recommend this place enough. And make sure you ask for Desi!! She was so thorough, so detail oriented, so focused on making our day perfect. And she did, and we will be forever grateful for that!

We continue to hear how wonderful the venue was, how amazing the food tasted (the butternut squash ravioli and beef short ribs are mouth watering!), and how fabulous the entire staff was throughout the weekend. I work in the event industry and am so thankful for the spectacular service that NHCC provided. Brittany was our coordinator and set my mind at ease from start to finish - seriously the best human and event professional. I could go on and on about how great the NHCC was, but do me a favor and just go meet with them if you are looking for a venue - you won't be disappointed!

She is also so personable and funny - she helped both parties with anything they needed in a timely manner and helped us enjoy this special day! We highly recommend Julie & NHCC!

e was super helpful for getting things figured out. Our stay at the hotel for the two nights was quite comfortable. We got lucky with good weather and the ceremony and reception both went perfectly. Numerous family and friends complimented the dinner food from NHCC as well. All of the other vendors we worked with were really familiar with the Edgewater venue and had nothing but praise for the venue so we realized we made a smart decision by going with them. No complaints to speak of.

As a bride, you worry about every little detail and every little thing that could go wrong on your wedding day and I can truly say with confidence that I got to enjoy my wedding day because I knew NHCC had taken care of everything. As for the food - absolutely delicious, simply incredible. We still have guests, including my husband and me, talking about how amazing the food was. Everything was truly wonderful and I could not be more grateful for NHCC.

room, was how relaxed, yet elegant the space was. The room is surrounded with windows and an abundance of natural light. We looked at many venues in Columbus, but the cost, quality of food/drink, and quality of the venue space/hotel, is incomparable to the other venues. The customer service provided by all of the staff members was incredible. The staff and event team is highly organized and they did a fabulous job communicating with us and bringing our reception vision to life. They were extremely accommodating and did everything in their power to make even the smallest details a priority. I cannot recommend Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center enough!

The only negative feedback we got from our guests was when the pub closed at midnight the worker was rude to them when asking them to leave, and a recommendation is to request guest rooms next to each other. Other than those two things the day was perfect!

Even though it rained a bit on our big day there was always a backup plan and a plan to the backup plan which was a huge stress relief. The food is phenomenal!! Our guest kept talking about their meals. Emma, Our wedding coordinator at nationwide was the most helpful and kind person! She had answers to everything I asked and knew how to support me when I needed it!! I couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our big day and I would suggest to anyone to pay for the experience it was to have your wedding at nationwide hotel and conference center

ith NHCC, I was completely at ease. Tiffany B. was professional and showed an attention to detail that I hadn’t even begun to contemplate! Tiffany B. and the event staff at NHCC – Brittany M., Kristen B. Emma K. – thought of every detail so I didn’t have to – and I didn’t! From menu, to linens, to lighting, to timeline, they handled everything, and I mean EVERYTHING so all I had to do was show up, say “I do!” and enjoy myself!! The entire staff at NHCC made me and my guests feel like we were the most important people there and any request we put to them, they handled immediately and graciously! You might price your event at NHCC and think that you can ‘do better’ somewhere else. But I encourage you to consider your time and your peace of mind when determining what fits into your budget. The day before my wedding, I had lunch with my family and dinner with all my out-of-town guests. The day of my wedding I had breakfast with friends and family, went to church, had lunch with my guests and enjoyed a leisurely ‘getting ready’ with my bridal party. I didn’t have to run around, pick anything up, answer any questions, see to any details. My time was much better spent enjoying myself and leaving the event handling to the professionals! Basic details: the hotel rooms are comfortable, clean. The food is wonderful! The venue is lovely – we celebrated in the Edgewater. The staff is responsive and warm. I don’t plan to get married again, but if I did, I’d call Tiffany and the team at Nationwide in a heartbeat!

had a pretty unusual wedding (no meat and no alcohol, to start!), but they were flexible and made it all work. Our on-site coordinator Julie did an incredible job wrangling all the knitty-gritted details--one guest described the event as "butter smooth"! Would 110% recommend to any couple!
