The venue was absolutely perfect! We booked a little over a year in advance and during that time Jennifer checked in on us to make sure that everything was good on our end. We had our rehearsal dinner here as well and can’t speak to the amount of help and patience that the olde wicks team showed us. Everything I wanted out of my wedding they helped make happen. They even took the time to go above and beyond when my videographer canceled at 7:30 pm the night before the wedding by calling people they knew in the Industry and helping find a backup. While big events like this do have small hiccups, as the bride I never felt stressed during the day of my wedding and got to fully enjoy being present and I know a lot of that was because the olde wicks team was handling so much in the background. Truly so happy with the team and the venue. I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding, it exceeded my total expectations.

I cannot recommend Olde Wicks enough!! I got married here on 12/7 and it was nothing short of amazing! Jennifer and Shannon were so hospitable from scheduling time to walk through the venue with my vendors to being so accommodating and friendly. I received so many compliments on the space and how kind everyone working was! Everything went so smoothly!! Seriously I will recommend them for any event! Thank you for making my wedding day the best day ever ❤️

Our wedding at The Olde Wicks Factory was beyond gorgeous. We had a progressive wedding with our ceremony in the Grand Hall, cocktail hour in the Gatsby Room, and reception in the West Hall. Each room had its own vibe, but they blended seamlessly together so it didn’t feel like a shock when we went from room to room. Each room provided the perfect backdrop for our stunning day and photos. Jennifer and Shannon were beyond knowledgeable and went completely above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. I joke to everyone that the building could have been on fire, and I wouldn’t have noticed with how they handled everything. I was able to enjoy every moment of the day with my guests and I didn’t stress over anything since they had it handled. I couldn’t recommend this venue more.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than the Olde Wicks Factory for our wedding reception on 9.21.24! The venue was absolutely beautiful and set the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. With so much to offer across their property, we utilized the Bridal & Groom suites, Gatsby room & Grand Hall for our cocktail hour, and the Main Hall for our reception. The Main Hall was perfect for our vision and accommodating 400 guests. We also took pictures on their beautiful property as well. Shannon, Jennifer and the rest of the staff truly made our day perfect for us! If you’re looking for a stunning venue with exceptional service, we can’t recommend the Olde Wicks Factory enough!

Olde Wicks Factory was the perfect place for my dream wedding to come about! The planning process with Jennifer and Shannon was very collaborative, and they were fantastic about communication and implementation. Everything went so smooth the day of our wedding, and they were such a big part of that. Their bridal and groom suites were great for getting ready with our wedding party (both a group of 10 people). The Main Hall was SO beautiful and was the perfect place for our reception. It was elegant and bright for our dinner, and then the dance turned it into an energetic party. Their outdoor spaces made our photo taking convenient and BEAUTIFUL! The property is just perfect! Thanks again!

They worked to accommodate anything and everything we needed. The venue is beautiful and a perfect place to have a wedding. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there. Jennifer and Shannon made it a wonderful experience. They were like a second wedding planner/day of coordinator. We used all of the preferred vendors; snacks for cocktail hour, catering, dessert, decorator, planner/coordinator. They all work so well together to make it a perfect day. They don't let you worry about anything on your special day, they take care of everything. I would recommend The Olde Wicks Factory to everyone! They are the best and we are so thankful for them to make our special day so perfect for us!

We truly loved every moment of our wedding day. One of the biggest reasons for such a memorable day was the Olde Wicks Factory. They are locally owned and invest so much energy to ensure you have a seamless day. Their attention to detail and experience with weddings made our lives easy. Everything is on site! We had our rehearsal dinner right outside the West Hall for a beautiful evening with the wedding parties and close family. Bride and groom suites are on location to get ready in the morning. Having all components in one location made the day so easy for us and our guests. Seriously, we had so many compliments from our guests that both our ceremony and reception were in the same building. We did the progressive setup which allowed our guests to enjoy the ceremony, move to a cocktail hour in the stunning Gatsby Room and finally our reception and dinner in the West Hall. The Olde Wicks Factory also has a huge selection on wedding decor to help make your setup (and budget) easier. Reflecting on our experience, there is no way we would choose any other venue. This historic venue provides a beautiful canvas to fulfill your wedding dreams and will leave your family, friends and guests in awe.

A Dream Come True: The Wonderful Wedding Venue at The Olde Wick’s Factory in Highland, Illinois the perspective from the Groom’s mother. As many of you know, the Groom’s mother has it easy when it comes to their son getting married. The choices and all details of the wedding are planned by the bride and groom. Our son’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, and it would not have been possible without an amazing daughter-in-law and her choice on the enchanting wedding venue her and my son chose. From the moment they stepped foot into The Olde Wick’s Factory, they knew they had found the perfect place to celebrate their love story. The Olde Wick’s Factory located in Highland; Illinois is the picturesque old building that has been transformed into such character with stunning backdrops for their special day. The serene and scenic surroundings added an element of natural beauty for outside shots along with the character of the inside of the building made their wedding truly remarkable. The ambiance was nothing short of breathtaking as the bride, now my daughter-in-law walked down the spiral staircase to join her father to walk her down the aisle in the “Grand Hall.” The elegant architecture and tasteful decor created a romantic and intimate atmosphere that left our guests in awe. Whether it was the “Grand Hall” where the ceremony was performed, the “Gatsby” room for cocktail hour and then on to the “West Hall” for their reception and dance, every space was meticulously designed to perfection. Most guests were from out of town absolutely loved being able to stay in one location for the entire event, yet each room has its own character. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the wedding was flawless. From their initial inquiry to the day of the wedding, the owner, Jennifer Ostrander made suggestions that were extremely helpful. The event coordinator, Cassie Davis from Occasions from Black Box was responsive, professional, and attentive to their every need. (I would highly recommend having an event coordinator). Jennifer Ostrander and staff made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. The Olde Wick’s Factory offered a range of amenities which included bridal suites for getting ready that made their wedding day even more special. The bridal suites were luxurious and a comfortable space for getting ready. They had crystal chandeliers, plenty of windows that viewed a beautiful courtyard filled with trees and flowers. It was a comfortable space with a lot of room for the bridal party to get ready. Makeup was done onsite from “Face It Beauty Boutique,” also located in Highland. I would also highly recommend for such a relaxing atmosphere; they made us all beautiful in a timely manner to everyone’s satisfaction. The culinary experience at The Olde Wick’s Factory was a true delight. It was catered by Cygan & Delaney from Highland, Illinois. The catering team collaborated closely with the bride and groom to create a customized menu that catered to our tastes and preferences. The quality of the food was exceptional, and our guests raved about the delicious dishes served during the reception. The bride and groom choice to get married on an unconventional Friday afternoon. This was a suggestion also from owner, Jennifer Ostrander. This really turned out to be one of the finest blessings, since our family was from out of town, a Friday night venue afforded everyone to gather the next day to reminisce about the night before compared to hitting the road to travel back. If you have not thought about a Friday late afternoon wedding, this is also something that I would recommend. Considering the impeccable service, stunning setting, and overall experience, I as the groom’s mother, felt that The Olde Wick’s Factory offered exceptional value for money. The memories that were created at this venue are priceless, and they would choose it again without hesitation. It exceeded all expectations and made their wedding day an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. We are truly blessed that our son and daughter-in-law chose this wonderful venue, we could not be happier. The professionalism and communication between both Jennifer and Shannon were absolutely fantastic. As the bride, I was not stressed or worried because I knew I could lean on the two of them. They went above and beyond for me and my husband. I truly could talk about them all day! The venue was absolutely everything that I could have dreamed of.

I don’t even know where to begin! We were blown away with this venue, from everything being in one spot to the venue speaking for itself. We trusted Jennifer’s vision as there were many projects in the works when we viewed/signed late 2020 early 2021. Every vision the Ostrander’s had came to life and it’s amazing to think every one of their couples helped towards that goal. My guests still talk about how amazing this place is! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning the customer service from this family to all of the preferred vendors was exceptional. Cannot recommend enough!

I can't recommend this venue enough. Jennifer and her team took our special day to the absolute next level! She is a pro at weddings and offered us guidance and flexibility when planning our reception here. The venue is filled with character, special rooms, and unique features that will enhance any special occasion. My husband and I got married at Olde Wicks Factory this past April, and couldn’t recommend this venue enough! We loved that there was such a variety of options all at the same location. From getting ready in the bridal suites, to our progressive wedding everything was beautiful and flowed perfectly. We had a last min change and moved the ceremony indoors the week of the wedding, and it turned out even better than expected. We had our ceremony in the Grand Hall, cocktail hour in the Gatsby room, and reception in the West Hall. We absolutely loved how everything turned out! Jennifer, the event coordinator, was so helpful in keeping our timeline on schedule. The staff were organized and friendly and helped everything go smoothly.

I cannot say enough good things about Wicks! First off, the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS!! You barely need any decorations at all, it is stunning all on its own! Our guests were in complete awe and could not stop talking about how much they loved the venue. Second, the staff are OUTSTANDING! Jennifer, Shannon, Frank, and the rest of their crew are incredible to work with. We planned our wedding in two months and could not have done it without them! They made everything run so smoothly and their preferred list of vendors was so so helpful! Don't walk, RUN to book your wedding here! I promise you absolutely will not regret it!!

I cannot say enough positive things about our wedding experience at the Wicks Factory! Jennifer and her team truly go above and beyond to make each detail perfect and every step of the way run smoothly. Their responsiveness to all our questions and requests was a huge weight off our shoulders during the planning process. On top of the wonderful experience we had with them, the spaces are absolutely beautiful. We had a hard time choosing which hall to even pick for our reception, but ultimately decided on the Grand Hall which was perfect for our overall decor decisions. We received so many complements from our guests on what a beautiful venue it was. We have recommended to our friends, and further recommend to anyone considering The Olde Wicks Factory for their weddings or event spaces :)

Choosing this venue for our wedding ceremony and reception was by far the best decision we could have ever made! To start off, the venue is just absolutely breathtaking. We had our ceremony in the Grand Hall which is decorated so elegantly with large chandeliers and fireplace. The cocktail hour was in the Gatsby Room which provided a laid-back, casual environment for all of our guests. We had or reception in the West Hall which offered a very industrial, moody, and relaxing vibe. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on our wedding day regarding how gorgeous this venue is. Jennifer, the owner, and her family really were amazing throughout the entire process of viewing the venue, booking the venue, answering our questions, helping us with last-minute set-up the day of and more! Jennifer was also there to help us with the wedding rehearsal the night before which was a lifesaver since we had our good friend marry us so the process of how the ceremony should take place was unfamiliar territory. This venue also has amazing get-ready rooms for both the groom and bride. The bridal suite has multiple vanities which was so helpful for our makeup and hair team to work on all of my bridesmaids/flower girl/mothers. It was such a relaxing environment to get ready in! The groom’s suite was also very comforting and inviting. My now husband and his groomsmen were able to relax and play at the poker table while they all got ready. Overall, having this venue as our wedding venue definitely set the tone for our wedding and it was absolutely unforgettable! Our wedding went off without any issues and I believe that was largely due to the help of Jennifer and her amazing staff. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone looking to have the most spectacular wedding!!!

From the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted our wedding to take place at this beautiful venue in Southern IL. The owners and staff are super helpful and accommodating from start to finish. We LOVED The Olde Wicks Factory. The venue is so diverse that you get to work with the owners and personalize the experience. Not much decoration was needed because they continue to amaze at how they are renovating the spaces into beautiful venues. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Grand Hall and the entire event went off without a hitch. Instructions, prices, and guidelines were clearly outlined and made planning easy. The owners are so involved and supportive, they even ran out to get superglue during the reception to help a bride when her shoe started falling apart. It meant a lot to us to support the local community and small businesses, and you truly can feel that The Olde Wicks Factory does the same, they had great vendor recommendations !

Jennifer is so great to work with! We booked with them in April 2019 and had our wedding May 2021. Throughout the entire process she has always been so helpful and kind walking us through planning a wedding. She helped our vision come to life. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. You will not make a wrong decision using Olde Wicks. I cannot wait to see the work they continue to do to elevate this beautiful venue even more.

The venue is beautiful and they are always making updates and changes. The bridal and groom suites are perfect for hanging out in the day of the wedding! I wish we would have had more of the coordinator portion for keeping people in the cocktail hour room instead of the reception area. But the north patio, gatsby room and west hall are all beautifully done! I received so many compliments on the uniqueness of the rooms and everyone had the best time

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding and reception! This was the perfect halfway point for family and friends on both sides of the river. Jennifer and her team answered all of our questions leading up to the big day and were beyond helpful and flexible the day of! The Grand Hall for the ceremony was gorgeous, the Gatsby Room served as the perfect cocktail hour spot and first look location, and the West Hall’s industrial-chic charm and large dance floor made for the perfect reception area.

The Olde Wicks Factory is a beautiful spacious venue!! The staff and owners, Jennifer and Frank are some of the nicest people. Planning a wedding in 2020 wasn’t easy and Jennifer was there to answer all of our questions when we needed her, making the process easier for us. There’s a lot of areas on the property for beautiful unique photos and the bridal and groom suites were perfect for us all to get ready the morning of. Overall we had a great wedding experience at OWF and would recommend to all!

Perfect venue! All options for the ceremony and reception were beautiful and reasonably priced. Jennifer and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had our perfect day even with the pandemic happening and were very accommodating when we needed to change things last minute. They made sure everything was ready to go and were there to help to make the day go smoothly!! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking!

The Olde Wicks Factory venue was amazing! The spacious comfortable fully equipped bridal suite & groom suite was a great beginning. The outside seating under tall oak trees for shade & concrete stone patio with an owf provided arbor was perfect for the ceremony & pictures. Don't worry about rain because the owf has an inside room with stained glass windows as Plan B. The west hall with its original rugged wood floor, gorgeous chandelers & enormous windows circling it was absolutely beautiful. Cocktails & Appetizers served in the Gatsby Room gave the guests a special place to go while pictures were being taken. For weeks I received feedback from guests saying "what fun they had & how beautiful the venue was". Owf's owner/coorindator Jennifer O. is extremely passionate about making the wedding everything you want it to be. She was informative, patient, fair in every way. I felt guilty that as the mother of the bride, I didn't have any worry because Jennifer took care of any problems. She put the flowers on the arbor because in the morning it was raining & the florist couldn't decorate the arbor. She made sure the seats outside were wiped down for guests. She removed the arbor flowers and brought them to the hall. When I needed help getting from the ceremony to reception she found a wheelchair. She was always there. Don't think twice, go see for yourself.
