That lifelong passion became a dream realized in October 2025, when Kelsey became the proud owner of The One Bridal Salon. When the original founder announced her retirement, Kelsey knew it was her time to carry the legacy forward — blending the salon’s trusted heritage with her own fresh perspective and heartfelt approach. Now, as she welcomes a new generation of brides through the doors, Kelsey is more inspired than ever. We were the only ones in the studio. I had gone to David’s Bridal once many months before but was overwhelmed with the amount of people in there. I felt right at home with The One Bridal. It definitely felt like a day dedicated to the bride and finding her dream gown. It’s also tucked away in such a cute part of Charlottesville so we made a day of it since I was coming from out of town. If you’re shopping around for a dress, definitely keep this place in mind! She took the time to ask questions not just about my style preferences, but about our venue and engagement as well which made the experience feel more personal and supportive. Peggie pulled a number of dresses for me to try, she nailed my style right away. She gave practical advice and asked questions throughout the process. The salon itself is gorgeous and comfortable, and the customer service is excellent. I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision, and appreciated the follow up from Peggie afterward checking in on my search for the perfect dress. Despite trying on a number of dresses in the weeks following my appointment here, the very first dress that Peggie pulled for me is the one I kept coming back to and chose!

If you give them a price range, they will stick to it in all of their selections. I ended up finding my dress here and Peggie has kept me in the loop at every step, including letting me know when my order was processed by the company and the estimated shipping date. She turned what I thought would be a more stressful step of wedding planning into one of the easiest. My experience here was lovely and I would absolutely recommend the One!
