I had such an amazing and intimate experience at The One Bridal!! I had to make 2 appointments to make sure I found the dress I loved. Peggie and Kelsey were so understanding and accommodating. They were willing to work with me to figure out which type of dress I felt best in. They were both such lovely ladies! I brought my parents to the first appointment and a couple friends to my other appointment. It went amazingly, I would recommend this salon to anyone. They have a variety of beautiful dresses on their website. An appointment is required and scheduling an appointment is super easy. The experience is very intimate which I loved. We were the only ones in the studio. I had gone to David’s Bridal once many months before but was overwhelmed with the amount of people in there. I felt right at home with The One Bridal. It definitely felt like a day dedicated to the bride and finding her dream gown. It’s also tucked away in such a cute part of Charlottesville so we made a day of it since I was coming from out of town. If you’re shopping around for a dress, definitely keep this place in mind! It will be so special.

I absolutely loved my experience trying on dresses at one bridal salon!! Peggie was knowledgeable, patient and has an amazing eye for picking out dresses that fit your body type and style. The shop is clean and simple and really lets the dresses shine. And I love that you and your party are the only ones in the shop. I had such a lovely and relaxed time. I can't say enough positive things about my experience at The One Bridal Salon. I booked a few appointments on the same day at other salons, and The One Bridal was the highlight, by far! Peggie was flexible when making my appointment and got me in first thing when the salon opened. She took the time to ask questions not just about my style preferences, but about our venue and engagement as well which made the experience feel more personal and supportive. Peggie pulled a number of dresses for me to try, she nailed my style right away. She gave practical advice and asked questions throughout the process. The salon itself is gorgeous and comfortable, and the customer service is excellent. I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision, and appreciated the follow up from Peggie afterward checking in on my search for the perfect dress. Despite trying on a number of dresses in the weeks following my appointment here, the very first dress that Peggie pulled for me is the one I kept coming back to and chose!

My experience with One Bridal Salon was flawless. From my initial appointment with Kelsey to my final fitting, One Bridal made the process feel unique and personal to me. Kelsey was able to hear my vision and somehow pull the perfect dress. As soon as I put it on, I knew I had found what I would wear on my wedding day. My first appointment went so well, that I continued to drive over an hour to and from their salon for each of my fittings. I could have found someone more local, but I completely trusted One Bridal. It was well worth the drive!

Had such a great experience trying on dresses for the first (and last) time! Everything I tried on was in my price range and I really appreciated how they asked me questions that helped me figure how what I wanted. They went above and beyond letting me accessorize the dress with a giant bow off the display dress. Thank you!

This salon is amazing! I loved the atmosphere and that it felt like an exclusive event just for me and my party. Peggy was the best part though. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! After trying on dresses at other stores, I was getting discouraged about finding a dress. Peggie was able to schedule me right away for an appointment! As soon as we opened the door, Peggie greeted us and made sure to listen to what I was looking for. It was so relaxing to be the only one in the store! Peggie pulled on a few dresses for me to try on and would pull others as I tried on and reviewed dresses. She was mindful of budget and my likes/dislikes. Peggie saved a dress for me to try on last and it was the first time I had a special bond to a dress. I knew immediately that it was “the one” for me. Excited to work with this lovely store during the alteration process!

After visiting another boutique “just in case”, I couldn’t wait to come back to pick the one here! The quality of the dress surpasses the price tag and offering alteration services makes the process even easier. I can’t wait to wear my dress!

I found the salon because they had a specific dress I was interested in, but when I got there, I appreciated the relaxed and intimate setting to try on dresses with my mom and 2 friends. They were supportive of me throughout the appointment, helped me think through what I did and did not like about the dresses I tried on, and even recommended a cake shop around the corner for after our appointment! I bought my dress here and look forward to coming back when it arrives in a few months.

I am so glad I chose to do my dress shopping at The One. Peggie was so helpful, easy to communicate with (before, during, and after my appointment), and made me feel at ease. The 90 minute appointments are great because you can really get a sense of what you like/don’t like without feeling rushed. If you give them a price range, they will stick to it in all of their selections. I ended up finding my dress here and Peggie has kept me in the loop at every step, including letting me know when my order was processed by the company and the estimated shipping date. She turned what I thought would be a more stressful step of wedding planning into one of the easiest. My experience here was lovely and I would absolutely recommend the One!

I was at the salon this past weekend and going into it I can tell you that I was nervous! I had not had success with other salon appointments and with the need to lock in a dress soon, I was hopeful going into the appointment. I walked into the store a bit stressed because I had no idea what would work for me, what I really wanted and stressed on the idea of not finding a dress. My experience at The One Bridal Salon was everything I had dreamed for picking out a wedding dress! Kelsey made me feel so comfortable and special the whole time. She truly listened to my preferences and helped me see a vision for my dress that I hadn't even fully formed yet. She selected lots of gowns that fit most of the aspects I was looking for, all within my budget, and also pulled some that I wouldn't have thought of to encourage me to try. She was very open to feedback and hearing my honest opinion about each one, and allowed me the space and time to think through my options. In the end, I walked away with the very first dress I had tried on - she had chosen it for me so perfectly! I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service here, and will recommend any bride to come to this shop!

Kelsey was so fantastic to work with! She asked for 2 words to describe the look and feel I was going for and I said Classic and Stunnin' and boy did she deliver! She was transparent, understood what I was looking for, and made me feel comfortable and excited to be buying my wedding dress! I specifically chose The One Bridal Salon because they have Jenny Yoo gowns as well as other designers who make simple and clean designs (which is surprisingly hard to find). Above all else, it was way under budget!

I came to this shop after hearing about it from a colleague who bought her dress there after going to 14 other shops in the DC area, and I was not disappointed. The shop is beautiful and so is the selection of dresses. The shop only does one appointment at a time, so it’s a very intimate experience. Peggie was amazingly helpful, patient, and honest. I was there alone, with my mom and sister on FaceTime, and it still felt like a special experience thanks to Peggie. Counting down the days until my dress is delivered, and I can see it again in person!

Finding the perfect wedding dress has always seemed like a very stressful moment to me, but The One Bridal Salon with its owner Peggie made my experience really joyful. The salon itself is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. There is also a lot of natural light in the salon, which, in my opinion, is very important when you try on dresses. As for the choice of dresses, they have a solid variety of different styles. You can tell that all the dresses are very carefully selected by the owner, so no matter what you try on, it's very beautiful. My advice is do not think twice just make an appointment there.

The best! Truly! The store was immaculately decorated, bright and clean. They do private appointments which was incredibly helpful as it can be a bit of an emotional experience. Peggy informed me that there was a sale on that designer and worked with me to make an appointment that fit my schedule and still within the sale timeframe (which with wedding dresses ends up being hundreds of dollars)! Her space is beautiful and very intimate. I had an outstanding experience with The One Bridal Salon. To start out, they were flexible in helping me make my vision of dress shopping with my Mom on her birthday a reality. I walked in unsure of what I wanted from a dress, thinking that I'd use this consultation as a spring board for future visits and ideas. While I had walked past the storefront hundreds of times, I was blown away by how many amazing gowns they had tucked away! Ultimately, the best part about our visit ended up being the creative vision that the team had for my dress. I ended up trying on a dress that I didn't like on the hanger, but with some very clever tucking to show possible modifications- I am in LOVE with it! I got the dress and walked away confidently. Peggie arranged for a follow-up consultation with the her in-house seamstress so that I could hear her professional opinion on our dream modifications before finalizing my order. She supported me, beyond where I knew I needed support, and I couldn't be more confident with my decision. I felt immense care in our shared vision while I was there and highly recommend to anyone!

I couldn't have been happier with my experience at One Bridal Salon! Peggy was a pleasure to work with, very communicative, and the only person who offered to ship in a dress that I’ve been dying to try on. Despite not loving the dress we shipped in, I found the perfect dress at an incredible price point. I was especially impressed with the try-on experience. The one-on-one experience I had with Peggy is much more pleasant and calming then you’ll get at other bridal salons. The experience felt very high-end, like shopping at a luxury retailer but without the luxury price tags. I traveled to One Bridal Salon from the Washington, DC area and it was well worth the trip!

Oh, where to begin? My experience at The One Bridal Salon could not have been better— and the name certainly lives up to it’s expectation. I found “the one” in this beautiful space with the most incredible selection of varied dress shapes and styles. The owner, Peggie, assisted me during my appointment. Peggie was warm, welcoming, and listened carefully to my requests for what I wanted in a dress. She picked out dresses that fit my personal style and even threw a couple of surprise try ons into the mix. This allowed me to narrow down my favorites, and eventually THE dress, throughout our appointment. She was incredibly attentive and helpful, and even showed me different ways to style different dresses with accessories in the salon. It goes without saying— the staff here knows what they are doing and care for each bride’s unique tastes and wants for their big day. The dresses are clearly cared for and impeccably maintained, the fitting room is spacious and clean, and the salon in general was sparkling. It was my first and last stop when it came to looking for my wedding dress. I cannot recommend The One Bridal Salon more highly for brides seeking their perfect dress!

I couldn’t recommend The One more! The atmosphere and selection of gowns was fantastic. When I couldn’t find jussst the right gown they happily played “build a dress” to help me bring together all the elements I was looking for to create the perfect gown. I can’t thank them enough!

I placed my dress order only yesterday and could not be more excited! Choosing a wedding dress has been one of the most stressful parts of wedding prep, but Peggie and Kelsey were beyond helpful through the process. As a plus size bride, I had some anxiety about dress shopping and was thrilled to learn that Peggy carried plenty of plus size samples in her store and her selection of designers is a great combo of classic and modern. Our visit to The One Bridal boutique was perfect from beginning to end.

The One Bridal Salon has an excellent selection of dresses and I felt that Peggy knew how to ask the right questions to see what dress would actually be the one (I had been going in a completely different direction before I visited here). As someone who had never really thought about wedding dresses before and was really overwhelmed by the whole process, I truly felt that I was in good hands here.

Was a wonderful experience. The dresses that Peggie laid out for me to try on made it very hard to decide. She really listens to what you'd want and also makes you feel comfortable when you are taking your time with trying on the dresses. If you are looking for a dress I highly suggest you check out this bridal salon.

Walking into this salon was a breath of fresh air. My family and I were greeted with a smile as Peggie took the time to understand my vision and what I was looking for. She was respectful of our timeline and budget and helped us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this salon as you’re the only bride in the salon and the atmosphere is not as overwhelming as other bridal shops. I was nervous to go wedding dress shopping because I am an outdoorsy girl and have a lot of trouble with fashion decisions. From the moment I stepped into The One Bridal Salon Peggie made me feel at ease. Her store is clean, bright, and elegant. She took the time to get to know me and figure out how I want to look on my wedding day. She has a lovely collection of gowns and helped me pick out a variety of styles to try on that aligned with my vision. I could not believe it when I tried on my third dress and it was everything I could have ever wanted in a wedding dress- simple, classic, sexy, and comfortable! I don't know how Peggie did it but she somehow found my perfect wedding dress. I thought dress shopping would be a long, arduous process, yet The One made it an enjoyable, simple, special event. Peggie even had the eye to encourage me to try a simple veil when I didn't think I wanted one and it made the whole look come together perfectly. She was kind enough to open the store for an appointment on Sunday, when they are normally closed. Could not recommend this place more!

I am so happy to have ordered my dress at The One and would highly recommend shopping there. Peggie is extremely thoughtful and started off the appointment with getting to know me and my style. From there, she chose beautiful gowns within my budget. She was patient, considerate, and offered really helpful advice. The store is beautiful and it was a very comfortable, fun experience. I also appreciate that she was careful about social distancing and wearing masks.

Peggie was absolutely fantastic! I had the whole salon to myself for the appointment and she took time to meet with me over zoom before our appointment to get a better sense of what I was looking for in a dress. I fell in love with the first dress she pulled out for me and the experience was more than I ever could have hoped for! 12/10 experience.

Peggie and her staff were extremely organized, efficient, and welcoming to me and my mother and future mother-in-law. I did not expect to enjoy this experience given the various COVID restrictions we are all dealing with, but this shop made it a special day to remember! The shop is full of beautiful selections, which would have made it extremely hard to narrow down, but Peggie did a great job of pulling gowns ahead of time based on my taste and overall aesthetic.
