ub was a great value for our long reception.
Plates and glassware are included in your per person price (awesome!) and they have a serving liquor license but not a selling. I insisted on having a hosted bar, which can get quite expensive; not at the Optimist Club. We needed to hire licensed bartenders, but we were able to go to Costco and grocery stores to buy our alcohol.
Everyone had a blast, the staff was fantastic and it was all extremely reasonably priced. I would recommend the Optimist Club to ANYONE looking to have a fun time. The grounds are beautiful as well (we opted to have our ceremony in a church, but they have a beautiful lawn for outdoor ceremonies on site).

tationed outside. Their policy is no glass/china outside, which meant we needed all plastic plates/cups. Kind of a bummer, and definitely an added expense. The venue is nice in the way that you can completely customize your wedding. However, keep this in mind: It is an empty shell. Literally. The coordinator, Scarlett, assists on the day-of, but is not in charge of running anything. She simply oversees that the venue is kept in good order. She also helped clean up afterwards, which was awesome. But keep in mind, you will need to hire outside vendors that set-up, etc. If I did it again, I doubt I would have had it here... more hassle than it's worth.
