The Orting Manor was the one and only venue I ended up touring. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in, and booked it less than a month after getting engaged. I had done a lot of research and inquired with several other venues before touring the OM, and nothing stuck out to me as much, and they also didn't offer nearly as much as OM had to offer. It's hard to find a venue that isn't a barn or overly rustic, unless you want to get married in the city, and I just loved the elevated backyard wedding vibes that the OM has.
Aside from the aesthetics that I loved about OM, they also options for different price points, and we opted for an overnight option and are so glad that we did. They have so much stuff that you get to utilize onsite that saves a ton of money in rentals. Such as tables for dinner (and linens!), cocktail hour tables, and even folding tables that vendors can use. Chairs to use for your ceremony (that they setup ahead of time) and then you transfer to your reception area. The large white tents, with lighting, additional pop up tents, and you can use any of their stunning furniture that is inside the house. To top it all off they have a garage full of décor that you can use, and they are constantly acquiring new décor from weddings. The huge plus is that the venue itself is so lush and green that you really don't have to do a lot when it comes to décor if you don't want.
The venue coordinator, Tiphany is absolutely AMAZING! She was so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, and always responded to my emails quickly. She makes the whole process so easy and enjoyable. You will definitely love working with her.
I cannot recommend the Orting Manor more, you won't regret it.
This review is from a vendor's perspective: I recently photographed a wedding at Orting Manor in May and was absolutely in love with the character and charms of this venue. Everyone working the event was also so lovely and accomodating. This is a beautiful historic building retrofitted with modern amenities, it has it all! If you haven't visited them yet for a tour, please do! I hope I can work again at Orting Manor in the near future!!
After I got engaged, I quickly started to plan the wedding and of course looking for venues. I never knew I wanted a garden wedding until I saw Orting Manor. We loved that we had an option to book the entire weekend, that was what really sealed the deal. Everything was all in one place, the ceremony, the reception, our accommodations for us and the wedding party...The venue itself is gorgeous, everywhere made for a good photo op honestly. We loved the palm trees especially because it reminded us of our engagement proposal in Hawaii. We really felt like we weren't in WA, but somewhere tropical especial with the pool there. We loved having our wedding here. <3
We booked our wedding weekend at Orting Manor sometime May of 2021 and sometime the following year after, the venue had a change of ownership and was going through renovations. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant about the renovations because it was already originally so beautiful to begin with. Once they finished the renovations, we went on their open house, had our final venue walkthrough, and I honestly couldn't believe that this manor could get any better than it has. It was so modern and restorative, but still kept the character of Orting Manor itself.
Orting Manor was such a dream to have our wedding. It's a cute vintage spot with an outdoor venue. All the accommodations and amenities that was included, it was incredible. We loved the fact that this venue offered a weekend experience, which really stood out to us the most out all the venues we toured. It was so nice to have the option to feel relaxed and not rushed during the wedding crazy and enjoy ourselves for the weekend. The ceremony/reception area was so beautiful with the greenery/garden style vibe. The pool in addition to that was a special plus as well! If you're looking for a beautiful venue to get married or elope, this is the spot! Thank you so much Briana, Allein, Lori and Tiphany for everything!
Beautiful venue and the owners are SO relaxed. They let you decorate anyway you want and allow full range of venders. They have a pool as well and my wedding party jumped in at the end of the night and they didn't even mind. Would recommend this venue to anyone!
The venue was beautiful and the staff very helpful and made our daughters day a success. My only problem was that they wasnt a very enough room for all our guest under the tents for dinner. It was very crowded.
