Located in Thonotosassa, FL, The Osprey View is a gorgeous lakefront farmhouse and brand new wedding venue featuring over nine acres of land with multiple ceremony sites available for your choosing! The farmhouse was built in 1900 and has maintained many of the original features of the home through renovations. Modern amenities abound in the home, such as A/C control in each room, but there is still plenty of rustic charm, such as the hardwood floors and staircase, to truly make it the perfect place for an overnight stay, weekend stay, and more!
A bridal suite awaits on the second floor of the home, with a groom's bunk located at our fish camp directly across the street. Five acres of actively growing grape vines surround the property, creating picturesque views of the vineyard. The grapes will be used to produce wine at our nearby winery, Keel & Curley, located in Plant City, Florida.
Take in the view from our 3,000-square-foot covered patio with amazing views of the largest natural lake in the area, Lake Thonotosassa. Included with our property rental is a private lake, dock, and beach access, creating the perfect backdrops for every wedding photo you could imagine.
As a special treat to our couples, our onsite wishing well not only provides a great photo and gathering space, but each of our couples married onsite will have the opportunity to toss their wishes for the future into our well!

We could not have made a better venue choice! We were one of the first couples to book this site officially and some people said we were taking too big of a risk... No way! This venue came through and was even more beautiful than we imagined!
We stayed at the Airbnb and had our ceremony and reception on two different days. Beautiful venue with diverse vibes for different needs, the accomodations were great for both small and large groups, and the house was very well kept to stay there.
It was amazing to have everything all in one space for our entire special weekend. Chairs and tables being kept at the venue was a huge plus. The attention to detail cannot be overstated and the work that was put in over the past year is insane (the grooms bunk was very cool, we spent hours there playing games).
The best part of this venue hands-down is the property manager, Josh! He was absolutely incredible. From the day we viewed the venue, until the moment we checked out- he was there for us (way more than he had to be). When one of my vendors started to fall through, he did everything he could to help us. We were driven around on a golf cart and given waters when needed. The list of preferred vendors led us to some of the nicest people we worked with! I hope he knows he made this weekend so special for us and we will never forget him! Osprey View couples are so lucky to have him.
Privately, we were able to have coffee with the scenic lake view and read our vows to each other under the oak. With our closest family and friends we were able to have an intimate ceremony in front of the wishing well. And with a larger party we were able to have the most fun wedding reception on the large patio (with room for eating, games, and a dance floor all under one roof). We were also a 10 minute drive from Keel Farms for our wedding weekend brunch, very convenient.
I had my wedding here and it was so beautiful. The staff was amazing to work with they were more than helpful to make our day perfect. Anything you needed they were more than happy to help and the communication was excellent. During the wedding the blended in and helped the day go smoothly. They provided staff to help with parking and when I was in the need of a ladder they were very quick to get me the supplies. We were able to stay in the home and they made the check in and out very smooth. The property itself was very beautiful. It was big enough to have different areas for the reception, ceremony and cocktail hour but small enough that no one would get lost. It’s in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and it feels isolated from those around you. There were so many different spots on the property for photos that we were able to get a large amount of pictures with different backgrounds and aesthetics. I loved the view from the deck that looks out over the lake and the deck is spacious enough to fit all your guests, food tables and dance floor.
