My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Oyster Point in August 2018. As soon as we walked in, we knew we had found our venue. It was exactly what we were looking for- ne...wly-renovated, modern, bright, with a nautical/beach-like feel. We loved that the entire second floor was our space for the night. We also loved that the Oyster Point was a hotel, where many of our out-of-town guests stayed. The outdoor space and spacious deck was another plus that was really utilized during the cocktail hour. All the guests took beautiful pictures with the Navesink in the background, enjoyed the cigar roller that we had set up, and we got incredible drone footage!
The staff, such as Allison, the catering sales manager, was extremely welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning. She was transparent as to what we would get in our package and offered great vendor ideas, many of which we used. She was always available and extremely responsive throughout our experience.
A few days prior to our big day, we were introduced to our maitre-d, Odilia, who was nothing short of amazing. She was positive and kind, detail-oriented, listened to our every want and need, offered great suggestions, and set up everything exactly how we wanted it. The night of the wedding, we literally did not have to worry about one thing. She ensured that we were always enjoying the night. The night went flawlessly, mainly due to Odilia's fantastic and hard work.
Post-wedding, all our guests told us over and over that they had not been to a better wedding. People raved about the cocktail hour and the dinner food especially, saying it's the best they've ever had.
We cannot say enough great things about Oyster Point and really encourage all those interested to HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. You will not regret it. We truly had the best day of our lives!
