Tomas made our cake exactly how we wanted and was very patient and the pricing was reasonable considering that everyone agreed this was literally the best cake they’d ever had!! We are happy return customers for our anniversary cake and it was just as delicious as we remembered. Thanks again Tomas it was a pleasure doing business with you again!

Stop searching and hire Tomas & the Painted Cake now! Seriously the best cake we've ever had! We met Tomas at a venue open house and immediately scheduled our tasting and design session. He did not disappoint. He created the most beautiful wedding cake for us with the most intricate details. We did cupcakes for our guests and they doubled as a favor! Tomas created individual cupcakes in clear boxes with hand-tied gold ribbons with a beautiful sugar rose on top. They were a hit and matched our wedding vibe perfectly. Highly highly highly reccomend!

Tomas is not only an incredible artist but makes delicious cakes! He designed our daughter’s wedding cake with her custom crest and hand made gold spacers in between the tiers. He made a replica of their CKC Dog on top of the Groom’s cake that looked exactly like him!!! He listened to their ideas and sent detailed sketch drawings and the cakes looked just like the sketches! It was hard to pick a cake flavor at the tasting- they were all incredible! Vanilla bourbon and chocolate was what we picked. Both were so delicious!! All I can say is WOW!! Tomas truly is an artist! We used him for both the bride and groom's cakes and they were both beyond expectations! He listens to your ideas and comes up with a few different designs and you can decide based upon your budget. He is very patient for people like me who changed their mind a few different times, but the cake was just WOW. And on top of that, they taste amazing. Everyone at the wedding complimented how good the cake was. I surprised my husband with his cake, as it was 4 different themes, and Tomas hit it spot on and he absolutely loved it! He said if he were a cake, we nailed it spot on. Very pleased with the overall experience. I would 100% recommend Tomas to anyone! You won't be disappointed!

Tomas is a cake artist!! He helped me filter all of my ideas into 1 out of this world wedding cake and a grooms cake that had people thinking it was a statue or a toy. His cakes taste amazing and everybody loved them! We are really looking forward to having a smaller version recreated for our anniversary. I dream about our cakes. Tomas is AMAZING! His work is incredible and speaks for itself. He did FOUR cakes for our wedding (the grooms Yeti cake and 3 bridal cakes, I wanted 3 smaller cakes instead of one very large cake)! It all tasted delicious and they were so beautiful! His sugar flowers are so realistic, he is just so talented! He worked with us when we had to move our wedding date due to Covid and went above and beyond to gives us the BEST cakes! He is your go to guy for cakes!! Especially if you are looking for a more unique flavor and design!

Both of the cakes Tomas did for my daughter's wedding were absolutely gorgeous (and they tasted great too!). He was professional and easy to work with. So happy we chose The Painted Cake to do both cakes for the wedding.

Tomas Rosales met with us to discuss the cakes and had several of the cakes for us to taste. They were all absolutely delicious. He had sketched several designs and had quotes for us. We decided on my son’s dog and his golf clubs in his Jeep. We sent pictures of all of it and it was perfect. The cake was the engine of the car. It was a showstopper!!! Tomas is a true artist in the kitchen and sculpting the cake. He is a great guy too!!!

We used Tomas to make the grooms cake. I told him we wanted an old time phonograph. The cake was fabulous. It did not look real. Every detail was perfect. Everyone was shocked that it was a cake. It was delicious. Tomas was fabulous to work with. He is so kind and willing to please. In the future, I would definitely call Tomas to make another cake for us. His work is phenomenal ( and delicious).

We love Tomas! This man is such an amazing artist. The buzz we heard during and even after our wedding about both our main cake and the groom's bass cake was just wow! Our guests couldn't believe the bass cake was even a cake. They all thought it was a figure. My main bridal cake was breathtaking. I am so happy we found Tomas at our venues open house. Thomas is a true artist! His cakes are incredible, both visually and in taste. Instead of fondant, he uses marshmallows. He also uses a British-style icing instead of the super sugary icings you find on most cakes. Thomas asks for your budget first, then works with you to design a cake within it. I highly recommend him!!!

We met Tomas during an open house and booked a cake tasting with him. The samples he showed us were so tasty and the presentation was so beautiful that we decided to stop the search and go with Painted Cake. To be honest, until the week before the weekend I was having doubts and kept asking myself "what if I had looked more and gone with a cheaper option?". But the cake we got was SO beautiful and tasty that I have zero regrets now. The sugar flowers were so realistic and pretty. The colors were just what I wanted. The taste was amazing! So glad we went with Painted Cake. 10/10 recommend!

Tomas is not only a very nice person, his design was impeccable and the taste of the cake was fabulous! We had a vanilla cake with key lime filling layer ( for the from) and also a chocolate and chocolate layer (for me) So Yum!!

The Painted Cake makes the most delicious cakes EVER! I am a dessert lover, with an extreme sweet tooth, and the first cake tasting I had with The Painted Cake sold me. We used The Painted Cake for the groom's cake - a replica of the Navy helicopter that my husband flies - and we could not have asked for a better cake. The design was spot-on. All of our friends and family members loved how accurate the cake was, and I loved how delicious it was. The only negative was that no one knew where we should cut into the cake during our cake cutting, so my husband and I accidentally cut into rice krispie treat, which was fine but not as much fun as getting cake.

When my fiance and I went for a tasting, we were absolutely blown away! The cake was AMAZING, and based on some of their other designs we knew they could make a cake that was not only beautiful, but also delicious. While they were a bit pricier than most shops in the area, we went with them because of these two things. The day of our wedding, the cake was absolutely gorgeous. Everything we expected and more! Unfortunately, it tasted NOTHING like the trial that we had. The entire bottom layer was supposed to be champagne flavored with white buttercream, but it really just tasted like stale vanilla cake with lard on it. Absolutely awful. We ended up throwing away the ENTIRE bottom layer - easily 50% of the cake. It was inedible! We emailed Tomas to let him know and see what happened, but unfortunately we never heard anything back :/ Such a huge disappointment!

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. The cake is not only delicious but an absolute work of art. Tomas (the company owner) had the idea of matching the lace of my dress to the frosting lace on the cake. He also made my husband's grooms cake which replicated an Aggie Ring. It looked very cool and people were commenting on it all night. Tomas was so accommodating, stuck within our budget and on his website you'll see that a portion of his profit goes towards a mission rescue group that fights human trafficking. He also made mini versions of my wedding cake as a wedding shower favor for a very reasonable price. Awesome experience working with The Painted Cake, I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
