Nicole was the perfect person to be the florist for our wedding. I wasn't the type of bride that had specific ideas, more just general feelings and Nicole understood perfectly. She...
stayed within our budget while delivering everything I didn't think of asking for but wanted. She handled our centerpieces, wedding party flowers, flower girl crowns, chuppah, and everything else. Her flowers helped bring my vision of a Vermont garden wedding to life and she did it all perfectly. Her team on the day of was also wonderful and extremely patient with us as we had to track down all the wedding party. I highly recommend using her as a florist if you're looking for one.
We hired Nicole from The Painted Tulip for our September 2023 wedding and could not have been happier! She was easy to communicate with and tailored our flower order to exactly wha...
t we wanted. We ordered bulk flowers (we made table centerpieces ourselves), a bridal bouquet, two large bouquets for the wine barrels at our wedding, and flower pieces to hang on an arbor. We picked up the flowers the day prior to the wedding and set up everything ourselves to save a bit of money. The flowers were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and exactly how I imagined. My sister and mom picked up the flowers the day prior to the wedding and had a great time with that; Nicole apparently helped them pack the car so that the flowers stayed beautiful and fresh despite the drive to the venue.
I was a bit nervous spending the amount I did on something that gets thrown out at the end of the night but when I walked into the venue I was absolutely taken back by how beautifu...
l everything was. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Nicole did a great job and even incorporated some unexpected flowers that really made everything pop. There was a bit of inflation added to the final payment but when you see how hard they all work and the final product it will all make sense. I would have no problem suggesting her to any future bride.
Nicole from Painted Tulip was a dream to work with. She is so creative and accommodating, and made the planning process a breeze. Day of, she took my ideal dream decor and made it ...
look better than I could have ever imagined. From cute ceremony decor, to fragrant bouquets, to potted plant centerpieces that she grew herself, to tree saplings in our tent, to decorating our *pie canoe* with sunflowers, she executed everything flawlessly. All of the decorations looked so amazing and we are so happy that we chose to work with Nicole for our wedding day. Thanks Nicole, we love you!
Nicole did a beautiful job creating the centerpieces, bouquets, and other floral for our wedding. I wanted flowers that were in season and local for our June wedding, and Nicole we...
nt above and beyond at meeting that expectation. She grows all of her flowers, and it really shows because they stayed fresh for so long. She is artistic in her color choices and how she puts her bouquets together, the flowers turned out simply stunning. I tried to give her a lot of freedom to do what she thought would look best and she absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Gorgeous, local flowers! My mom used to be a florist and she was very impressed.
We were beyond happy with our flowers for the wedding. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and our flowers were just what we asked for. It was very easy to work with Nicole and pick...

h candles, lit branches, moss, and flowers in the reception space was wonderful. Any changes I wanted to make to her proposal she was very receptive to.
Wonderful vendor to work with who does not have the high costs of overhead. Had original and creative ideas for a fall wedding, and incorporated all of my ideas perfectly.
Nicole was able to create my vision flawlessly after only roughly describing what look I was going for and showing her a few pictures. The bouquets and arrangements were gorgeous ...
and she matched my style/colors perfectly. She was also very thoughtful on a personal level.
I give Nicole and the team at The Painted Tulip my highest recommendation. My husband and I got an overwhelming amount of compliments on the decor and ambiance of our wedding, and ...
I think that is largely attributed to the absolutely stunning flower arrangements Nicole provided. The Painted Tulip was my star vendor, in a wedding full of 5-star vendors.
Nicole spent a lot of time and effort with me planning out every last detail- from the beautiful and romantic escort card table involving bountiful ivory candles and florals, to the artfully crafted centerpieces in alternating size with scattered rose petals, and the jaw-dropping chuppah and full bouquets- they were all pitch perfect, rock-star gorgeous. She understands how to achieve a grand, luxe, and "big" wedding while offering a TON of value for what you pay. While a lot of her arrangements are rustic (it is Vermont, afterall!) Nicole worked to truly understand my vision and what we wanted out of our flowers. I wanted all white flowers and to create a dramatic appeal in an otherwise plain space. She met and exceeded my expectations, transforming the space into a modern yet organic fairytale scene.
Nicole is a true artist and can work with any given style. She was there bright and early and brought a skilled team to set up the wedding decor, and they were hard at work all day to make our wedding drop-dead beautiful. I am so very grateful for Nicole and her team for a job so masterfully done.
My daughter recently got married up in Richmond, VT. The day was incredibly beautiful and the majority of her vendors were fantastic! However, I'd like to warn others about using t...
his florist. We had chosen her after reading her reviews on various wedding websites. However, she behaved extremely unprofessional the day before the wedding. She actually screamed obscenities at the groom when he went to pick up the flowers! The last thing a bride needs before her wedding day is any stress caused by such an unprofessional florist!
For our wedding, we knew exactly what we wanted right away: Asiatic Lilies. When I first emailed Nicole with our request, she was on it right away. The creative touches she came up...
with meshed with our simple yet sophisticated style aspirations perfectly. When I first walked into the ceremony and reception site, I could not believe how beautiful it was.
I contacted The Painted Tulip one month before my wedding for bouquets, boutonnieres and several arrangements. Nicole was quick to respond, was extremely helpful and the flowers we...
re beautiful. People are still commenting on how lovely my bouquet was....and the prices were very reasonable!
I would highly recommend The Painted Tulip for all your wedding floral needs.
