Based in Lancaster, PA, The Paper Lab is a creative design studio specializing in wedding stationery that’s anything but ordinary. My goal is to help couples make a statement with bold fonts, vivid colors, and designs that truly reflect their unique love story. I believe every wedding day has its own personality, and that should shine through in the paper details too.
The Paper Lab is my passion project, born out of my own wedding when I fell in love with the process of creating custom stationery. After designing my own invitations, the requests from friends and family started pouring in—baby announcements, birthday cards, and of course, more wedding invites. When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my family, indulging in frozen yogurt, or hunting for the next perfect font.
I work with couples to design paper goods that feel personal and full of character. From invitations and cocktail menus to thank-you cards and table numbers, everything is crafted with love, care, and a whole lot of creativity. Jess made our entire process of our wedding invitations so stress free! She had everything so perfect and organized in such a timely manner. I highly recommend the Paper Lab Co! Jessica did the invitations for our wedding and I could not be more happy with how they turned out! She is super responsive throughout the process and helped me through all of the wording and design of my invitations while bringing my vision of an elegant, timeless invitation suite to life. She even worked with us to create 2 different RSVP cards to accommodate all of our guests. Her prices are super reasonable for the time and personalization that she puts into her work!
If you're looking for crisp, clean, and original wedding paper materials for your wedding (or any event for that matter!) look no further than Jess at The Paper Lab. I was recommended to her from our florist and was everything we needed for the details in our paper for our wedding. We had her customize Thank You's for my bachelorette party and bridal shower, as well as our rehearsal dinner and wedding invitations. Jess brought our vision to life and worked with us on all my little asks and details without batting an eye. Working with Jess was a pleasure. She's quick, honest and exceptionally talented in her field. She prioritizes her customer's preferences and desires but always adds in her expertise to make sure everything is perfect!! If you don’t have a Jess… YOU BETTER GET ONE FAST! She was EVERYTHING my couple needed for their unique wedding at the Citizens Bank ballpark in Philadelphia. I’m Angel. I am a wedding planner and Jessica handled the paper products for my clients. My couple came in weeks before the wedding with a unique theme and color scheme and struggled with making decisions. Jessica was not only flexible and professional she was kind and patient. Not to mention she whipped up designs and worked in record timing! She was even quick to respond the NIGHT BEFORE the wedding to make a sign for the bride! I can’t say enough about how much of a pleasure it was to work with her. Her process was seamless and everything was ON TIME! I can’t thank her enough! I haven’t always been convinced that Amazon and vista print can’t do the job but working with Jessica showed me that Couples NEED A JESSICA! Thank you Paperlab!
Jessica (the paper lab co.) is a true professional!!! My husband and I had a vision of exactly what we wanted and Jessica was able to custom make the invitation to perfection. She was able to customize the colors, shapes, fonts, envelope liner and more. Jess even went as far as finding a printer who could print a round shape QR code RSVP card to include with the invitation. We had Jessica make our invitation, menus and she even stuffed and mailed our invitations for us for a very reasonable charge. (There are so many “to-dos” during planning do yourself a favor and take one less thing off your plate!) She was very efficient, responded in a VERY timely manner and one of the most pleasant vendors to work with. I could not recommend Jessica more!!
When I say Ms. Jessica completely blew me away either the design for our invitations. She overly exceeded my vision. As an anime bride, it was very daunting with finding anime themed stationery that was not cheesy. Jessica took my ideas and put them perfectly on paper. She set the beautiful moody tone that we were going for and I am so thankful that I was able to work with her. Thank you Jessica❤️

Jess did our save the dates and wedding invitations and they were beautiful! She color matched everything to our wedding colors which really brought our whole color scheme together! She was great to work with and the quality of the product was top notch!

Jess provided us with beautiful wedding and rehearsal dinner invitation suites. She had great ideas for RSVP options, and she patiently worked with us on design details. Our invitations felt like an extension of our theme instead of a formality, and we proudly displayed them both at our wedding and in our home. For the high quality product and the attention to detail, Paperlab was a great deal in every sense.
I looked at many different places regarding my wedding invitations and once I found this place, I knew I found the one. Communication was super quick and easy, she did a great job accommodating any changes I wanted to make. She made the process super easy and less stressful than I thought it would be. Jessica from the paper lab is one of a kind! Her creativity and ability to design a vision mostly through text and email is amazing! I would highly recommend her for any special event where pretty paper is a must! People still tell me how beautiful my bridal shower invitation and paper was!
Loooved working with Jesse at The Paper Lab. She honestly made the process very easy. I’m someone who isn’t the best at giving feedback but she made me so comfortable and it was so easy to make changes. She also went above and beyond to help get exactly what I envisioned for our invitations, without hesitation. I really appreciated her and her work ethic. I did everything on my own for my wedding and finding vendors that take stress off of you and really help, is so important. We used the Paper Lab for our Save the Dates, Invitations, Welcome Booklets, Venue Map, Escort Cards, and Menu. Jess was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, providing direction when needed but really letting us set the vision. When it came to some of our more unique paper needs, Jess jumped in and helped us create incredible books and maps to make our guests feel welcome/informed throughout the weekend. Jess was calm, easygoing, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Everything she produced was fantastic!!!
My invitations and food menus were personalized to our backyard, rustic wedding theme. The paper lab worked closely on choosing color scheme and design for the invitations. Would highly recommend.

When I reached out to her to design our baby shower invites, my husband and I didn’t even have one critique on her first proof - she was super intuitive and nailed our vibe on the very first design. I had absolutely no idea how I wanted my save the dates to look, but knew I wanted them to be fun! Jess is AMAZING! She asked the right questions to get an idea as to what we could do, and sent me different ideas to truly tailor what I wanted and made sure it was the right design. So, my mom is a very particular woman and she was in charge of mostly everything (my unofficial wedding planner, so thankful I didn’t have to worry about the details). Jess was so patient with her and made any and all changes we asked for, for both my bridal shower and my wedding. And even did some really cute stuff for my bachelorette party!! Everything was beautiful, high quality and she was just amazing to work with. She’s very creative and will make all of your paper dreams come true!! So thankful to work with a small business who really cares about what they are doing. Will definitely be using her again for any of my paper needs!

Jess designed everything from the invitations to the place cards to the ceremony program for our wedding - she even designed koozies for our gift bags! she took the time to understand our vision and worked with us until everything was perfect.
