Darci did a wonderful job of setting up an appointment quickly and treating me like a very special customer. I had a baby (premie) and she made special plans to come to my home for initial visit. Throughout the process she was very helpful and got me my very own special design for my invitations; always staying in touch with me to remind me of certain due dates. She then proceeded to drive to my work to drop off my beautiful invites and she gave me a lot of great tips for stuffing them and mailing them out. I appreciate people who go above and beyond and she is definitely one of them. I do not normally do reviews but when someone gets it right, I have to do right by them as well. I am long overdue in writing this review but better late than never... I got married over a year ago and I still get compliments on our wedding invitation from people! Darci is extremely creative and helped custom design a beautiful invitation for me and my husband that we loved and (shockingly) our parents also loved. Our tastes run pretty modern and our parents are very traditional (and paid for the invitations) but Darci listened to everyone's opinion and hit the mark! She delivered the invitations a week earlier than promised and also gave me great cost-effective options for addressing the invitations. Darci also did a few "extras" for us which added to the day - a custom seating chart design with place cards, menus, and cute signs we hung on the backs of our chairs at the reception. I periodically bump into Darci around Columbus and I always joke that she'll do the invitations for my next wedding too - just kidding, Brian! :) I can't recommend her enough, she's really fantastic.

Darci was an invaluable asset in making our wedding both beautiful and personal. As a non-creative bride, I was dreading having to design save-the-dates, invitations, and day-of extras, but Darci handled all of that in a way that was more beautiful and cohesive than I ever could have dreamed. My fiance and I met with Darci in person for an hour early in the planning process and left with our save-the-dates and invitations all but finished. That meeting with Darci was so easy, fun, and brought us closer together as a couple as we hammered out the look and feel of the first things our guests would see. Darci was so wonderful to work with! I live out of state so we had to do all the planning and designing over email and facetime which could have been a disaster. But everything came out better than I even thought possible! She even had the printer do some pre-assembly when I was freaking out about getting things mailed in time. Darci did a gorgeous job on our invitations! She met with us to help us select one of her custom designs and then customized it to our color palette. She was prompt in sending proofs and making changes as needed, and everything was ready to pick up in great time. Of course, when we went to stuff everything to mail (3 months after we picked them up!) we noticed a mistake on the insert card that no one had caught during proofing. Darci was great in helping us get a reprint fast and didn't charge us any rush fees!! When we started working on day-of items, such as our program, signs, and an inset for our welcome bags, things started to move a little slowly. Darci had some big things happening in her personal life and didn't always communicate quickly. I was anxious we might not have all our items in time, but she assured me that we would be good to go. Once we got the ball rolling, she was fast with proofs and we ended up having everything we needed for the big day with our custom designs from Darci. We got lots of compliments on the invitations and all the touches that Darci contributed!!

Darci was able to customize everything (save the dates, invitations, menus, programs, place cards) to exactly what I envisioned. She was very informative about small details that make a difference (paper thickness, font, etiquette). Her organization and enthusiasm made this part of wedding planning easy and fun!

Working with Darci was probably the easiest part of planning my wedding. She has such unique ideas, was so flexible, and the end result well exceeded our expectations. Everything was "so us". Wedding planning can be stressful...but not working with Darci! She was so wonderful, I cannot say enough about her and her company! We used Darci for ALL of our paper goods (save the dates, custom invitations, signage, programs, guest table tags, favors, thank yous, etc)! Darci was fantastic and very personable. We told her kind of what our style was and within minutes she had sample books out and we picked our design. Once the proofs were sent to us, we wanted an addition, but were running out of time. She contacted the paper company who made the change, free of charge, and got our invites to us in time. I found Darci/The Paper Vault at one of those wedding shows at a convention center. Her booth and work stood out to me in a room full of HUNDREDS of choices! We worked with her for our save the dates, wedding invitations and wedding day extras and LOVED how everything turned out! Darci is awesome to work with, executed everything to literal perfection and was so nice. You can tell she really enjoys doing this type of work, as it really shows in her execution. I can't recommend her enough!

We worked with Darci (The Paper Vault) for our Save the Dates, Wedding invitations, and day-of paper needs (program, seating lists, etc.) and absolutely loved how everything turned out. We were in California at the time, but Darci made it easy to work together virtually. We absolutely loved working with Darci for our August 2015 wedding. Not only was her work absolutely beautiful, unique, and fitted to our personalities and taste, but she was also warm, energetic, and a blast to be around. She involved us in the design, and was super patient with sometimes multiple rounds of tweaks and mind-changes. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. But what touched me the most while working with Darci was her attention to us as clients - during a pretty busy time for herself (summer vacations and new baby and whatnot), she never left us hanging and was a great communicator. If I could do it all again, I would absolutely use her again, and hope we'll eventually have a need for more paper/stationery/invitations just so I get the chance!

Darci is amazingly professional - super organized with amazing attention to detail - and very friendly so it's a pleasure to deal with her (both for the free initial consultation and in follow-up emails and phone calls to finalize the order). I first met her after I got engaged and needed wedding invitations. She did such a beautiful job on my custom order that I went back to her for thank you notes, day of extras, pre-addressed gift labels, personalized holiday cards, and personal stationary. Everything has come out beautifully. The Paper Vault's prices are the same or better than what I found online and it was nice to be able to see the products in advance (she has lots of books and paper samples to flip through) before ordering so there were no surprises when the final product comes. She has also been really good about not trying to up-sell me or blow my budget. For example, I really liked the look of one letterpress sample for my wedding invitation but instead of up-selling me on letterpress (which is a little out of my price range...), she explained why letterpress is so expensive and gave me the pricing options for a few different styles of printing. In the end she saved me a significant amount and the invitation (as she predicted) looks amazing even without letterpress. I send all my friends to The Paper Vault!

I knew nothing about invitation/save the date etiquette and Darci was amazing in making sure I took care of everything I needed! She designed an amazing save-the-date using a photo that I had taken and even designed us a personalized wedding logo that we used for all of our papers that perfectly captured our rustic outdoors-y look!! For the invitations, she executed exactly what I wanted (but didn't know how to describe!) by walking me through enough options that I had a choice but not so many that I was overwhelmed. Her studio has lots of paper sample options that can be used as-is or customized, so that really helps in getting a feel for what you're going for. She even designed our programs using our invitation fonts and logo!! It was so reasonably priced I was shocked, especially knowing what other designers cost. The huge amount of personal service is amazing and I would recommend Darci to ANYONE about to get married (or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, birthday party, anything where you will need invitations!), you will not regret it and she will come up with a perfect invitation suite for you!

The day we discovered the Paper Vault and met with Darci, we such a highlight in our wedding planning! She was amazing to work with and made our vision come true! Our "save the date" postcards" were a hit and everyone raved about how beautiful our wedding invitations were, She even came to the rescue with a smile on her face when I called her in a panic with a very late request for more invitations when our wedding guest list kept growing.
