We had our wedding here the first weekend of October 2025. For the most part it was perfect but there were a few things I’d like to point out. The first night we got time to unload...
and set up everything, we were told that all the tables and chairs would be set up, and the table cloths would be on them. They were not. We were given a bag of dirty table cloths to put on tables. There weren’t enough chairs for all the tables so the morning of the wedding, they had to bring more. The same night we were setting up, they had the restaurant open, which was never mentioned prior to booking the venue that there would even be a restaurant being opened. Everything was fine we figured it out. The owner was willing to give us more time to finish setting up since he didn’t hold up on his end. The morning of the wedding came. We finished setting up. The women went to the bridal suite to get ready. We had to call to get more toiletries because it was not stocked up. No big deal. Our groom and his party arrived and went to the grooms quarters. When they got in there, it had a bad smell, like mold. They had to go buy air freshener just to be able to go in there. They did not have access to a bathroom in there and had to either go to the teahouse, or to the bridal suite when the girls weren’t in there. Whatever. The wedding comes, and the owner is out there taking pictures of our wedding. I missed the part in the contract where it said they could post pictures of our wedding to promote their business. Thankfully they didn’t. All in all, it is a very beautiful place and we did mostly enjoy it, but for the money that was paid for it, I expected a little bit more than what we got. I’m definitely not saying don’t rent this place, but definitely read the fine print and know what you’re getting!!!
