Sean was an amazing DJ and great leader for our wedding. He was thorough and kept everyone on track and organized. I would not have wanted any other DJ to help run our wedding. He helped make our night perfect. We would highly recommend.

We recently got married at Stokesay Castle and used Party Express DJs for our ceremony and reception. We couldn’t be happier with the services that Sean and Alex provided! Even before our first meeting, we were sent a comprehensive planning packet which was incredibly helpful. When we met with Sean to discuss the plan, he was professional, passionate, and very knowledgeable. He offered a lot of wonderful personal touches, including a personalized phone message and red carpet entrance into the reception after cocktail hour. His company managed the uplights throughout the space and coordinated them to the music, which guests were raving about all night. From the second the dance floor opened, it was never completely empty. At one point, my husband and I had to step out for photos and when we came back, Sean played my absolute favorite song! The timing was perfect and such a nice surprise! Our guests also made a series of odd song requests, but Sean always made sure to check with either me or my husband about which songs were appropriate, as we had agreed upon previously at our planning meeting. He and Alex were able to adjust to changes in the playlist, timing of major events, and keep the party energized and welcoming. I highly recommend Party Express DJs for any future events.

We came to Sean from The Party Express DJ in a tight spot because our original DJ never responded to us 6 weeks before our wedding. Sean contacted us very timely and was willing to work with us on such short notice. During our consultation with him, he had a packet for us to fill out to help outline the order of events, as well as our "Do play" and "Do not play" lists. It allowed us to customize our wedding the way we wanted it easily. He also had some great suggestions for songs and was open to our song suggestions as well during our consultation. Sean was great with communicating with us about any questions we had or any issues that may have come up. He was also very receptive to any last-minute changes leading up to the reception, and even during the reception. During our reception, he respected our desires by not having the music too loud and kept our guests entertained and involved. Sean is a true professional.

I found out about The Party Express DJ’s through a friend and after our first conversation on the phone, I was sold! I am a very organized person so their planning guide was so beneficial for me and my, now husband, and I made a date night out of it by listening to all of our favorite songs and picking out what would be our songs and playlists for each event! We were also very late to our first meeting with Sean but he was so kind and flexible and it was such a good meeting with him! He also would check in with me about how planning was going and would always respond to me within about two hours at the latest! He also was familiar with the venue and told me what he thought was best for the setting without trying to push me to buy all of his services! The wedding itself was the best day of my life and the party express DJ’s were a big part of it! Everyone loved them, they were funny and got a lot of people on the dance floor and so many people told me it was they’re favorite wedding! There were some things we had to change around the day of because of the amount of people that attended, but everything was communicated and nothing was a surprise and they worked with me through everything! They were amazing!

His communication, and his song choices and just general calming words throughout the day made all the difference for our wedding. He went above and beyond anything we would expect in a DJ. We had issues with the rain on our day and he did everything in his power to make our wedding work and that wasn’t just DJing that was helping us dry things off to asking to help with literally anything we needed. Our wedding day turned out to be rainy, windy, and cold, just overall miserable weather, but they set a great vibe and got people excited and ready to party, to where no one seemed to mind the weather at all. There were some last minute changes on our wedding day due to the weather and Sean just rolled with it and kept things moving seamlessly. Very thorough, extremely professional, yet fun. I’ve had multiple people tell me, days after our wedding, “it was a blast!” and how much fun they had. Highly recommend.

We had Sean and Kevin DJ our wedding in June 2023 based on The Party Express DJ's amazing online reviews and we were so happy with every aspect of their service. Sean was extremely easy to get in contact with and made the whole planning process and day of run smoothly. He also was very reasonable with pricing and didn't try to upsell a package that we didn't want or need. It was great to meet with Sean prior to our event and have him go over the timeline and give us ideas for songs for our ceremony and reception and then on the day of the wedding he was very knowledgeable and helpful getting everyone lined up and prepared for the ceremony and reception. Things would have been much more chaotic without him directing and leading the night which made me and my now husband able to enjoy our day and relax. I would absolutely use The Party Express DJ's again and would recommend him to anyone else looking for a DJ.

When I set out planning my wedding there was 0 doubt in my mind I wanted Sean Shipper and the Party Express DJs to be my disc jockey and MC for the night. Working with Sean prior to the wedding day is easy. I wasn’t over sold products or capabilities. He made suggestions he knew would work in my venue and even persuaded me to leave some options out because he knew additional lighting just wouldn’t work at my venue and time of the year I was getting married. We had a consultation where we discussed the wedding planner and he sent us an email the next day with things we may want to take a second look at or items we missed in the planner. The day of the wedding Sean arrived early greeted me and went right to work setting up. He was done in plenty of time for my ceremony and helped keep us on time. I originally told him I don’t think anyone will dance, and i made sure to give him plenty of space to choose songs he thought may work by reading the crowd. That decision to let him do his job without my hand cuffing him made a huge difference. People danced all night long to his music choices. When I went to tip him at the end of the night he tried to decline fat chance of that happening Sean… he earned every cent of his tip. My wife and I talked there’s a reason we choose Sean and our other vendors for our day. Professional vendors charging professional rates took care of any issues that may have happened without us knowing. Our entire day ran smoothly with no issues, why because of professionals like Sean. We can thank you enough Sean.

Sean was truly just what we hoped for. We were so nervous about finding a good DJ that would be able to do everything we needed and to make our guests have fun and get up and dance and he did just that and more. Sean did an amazing job with how customized I wanted to make our day! My husband and I are not super into popular music and wanted to have specific things played at different times and Sean made it happen! Our quests said we had the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to and part of that was how amazing the DJs were. Could not have hired a better DJ for our special day. Communication before and during our wedding was excellent! The planning session with Sean was so much fun! All of our requested music was played! They also handled our ceremony music and all of the songs were perfect!

My husband and I met Sean at a wedding showcase in February of 2019. Immediately, we were drawn to his energy, his positivity, his friendly demeanor, and then lastly his set up (which was a simple showcasing of what he is capable of putting together. The final product we chose: WOW!!). We found our wedding DJ!! All of this to say, the pandemic hit and we were put on hold for two years… My husband and I were now juggling work, our personal and familial lives, and trying to figure out how to put together the wedding we’ve already begun to plan. Sean was the one who reached out to us on more than a few occasions and reassured us that we were doing great, that we were handling the situation well, and that he would be there to support us our entire wedding journey. He made good on his promise! Each email, personal phone call, every meet up, and text message was thoughtful, never pushy, and he never brought up the business aspect, just genuine thoughtfulness and care that we were mentally doing well. September 2021- our reception was flawless! Sean showed up early Sunday afternoon (after a weekend of other weddings!) and did his thing. Sean was willing to work with us all the way through the beginning of the start of the reception- should we just do indoor setup, or include outdoor patio setup, should we do different styles of music indoor vs. outdoor, what if the weather wasn’t cooperating? Sean was prepared to do it all! My husband and I also have very differing tastes in music and we put all of our trust in Sean. Every guest we’ve spoken to has been raving about the music selections! From oldies, to country, to rap, we hit it all! The dance floor was constantly filled and guests were completely happy and energized all evening. And with the extra lighting, Sean created the perfect moods for each aspect of our reception! Gorgeous colors! Throughout the evening Sean kept checking in, making sure everything was on the right track and checking to make we were doing well. How thoughtful! One thing I will forever be grateful for is that while Sean is a professional, he is also a miracle worker. My brother was supposed to sing during the reception but unfortunately couldn’t make it. Sean is very well-spoken, has a special way with words, and recreated the moment my brother was supposed to sing. At 3:30 (our reception began at 4:30) Sean received an email with a recording from my brother. Sean made sure to surprise me and the guests with this touching moment to begin the dancing of the evening. Not a single dry eye in the house! And the day after the reception, he sent me the recording!! Sean is a nice, kind, funny, energetic, and caring professional. His knowledge of the music industry, and his ability to read a room and to read people is outstanding! We are simply overjoyed with our working with Sean and hope to see and work with him again in the future. While yes, he is a professional, you will leave your time with Sean as friends. You won’t be disappointed!!

We had such a wonderful time working with Sean for our wedding a few months ago. From the very beginning his communication skills were top notch and he always kept us in the loop. He gave us excellent lighting recommendations which made our reception venue look phenomenal and everyone enjoyed the variety of songs he played. Working with Sean was so easy and fun! He was very responsive to calls and emails (he even responded to an email while he was on his honeymoon!) We live out of town but he was so easy to get in contact with if we needed anything. We told him what was important to us and he more than delivered. He has a wedding worksheet that was so useful in helping us decide what kind of music we wanted and for the things we weren't sure of, we asked him to do what he thought best, and it was amazing! Our guests told us even during the reception how awesome he was! We also had uplights which turned out so well! I just asked him to pick colors that would look good and photograph well, and he did! He even did some games to give away our center pieces which was so fun! He provided the music and a microphone for our ceremony as well which was great! I found out after the wedding was over that there was a power outage at our venue during the cocktail hour but he was prepared and had it fixed so quickly, my guests (and even I) didn't even notice! He was very engaging and made sure everyone was having a good time the entire night. He was so much fun to work with and you can tell how much he loves what he does. I highly recommend him, he was so helpful and brought me a lot of piece of mind!

We hired Sean Shipper to do our corporate party/networking function and I found him to be beyond exceptional! Although our company had worked with him before, it was my first time to do so. He was extremely knowledgeable not only with what he was doing but other AV aspects that he helped me handle that the other entertainers that night were dealing with. He was excellent with MCing for me, a last-minute request that I asked of him. He was always patient with my questions, checked in with periodically to make sure everything was going well, with an excellent music selection along with an intuitive feel for the crowd and the flow of the evening. We worked with Sean from the beginning and he was nothing short of professional, helpful and awesome to work with. My husband and I were at a friends wedding and Sean was DJing. We were so impressed with the way he interacted with the audience to keep everyone engaged and he kept the party going all night long. We got his card that night and booked their services a week later! From start to finish Sean was the best to work with. He was so responsive, so on top of the details, and made the whole planning experience a breeze. The day of the wedding, Sean and Kevin handled the music. They worked AWESOME together. I had no worries of any details being missed. The ceremony music transitions were smooth, the dinner music was perfect, and the first dance and parent dances were incredible - even my dance with my dad with the fun spin at the end - they nailed the transition. They kept the audience involved and having fun the whole time. They hit every song request we asked for including a last minute change to ensure we heard "Low" by Flo Rida! Lol! All of our guests are still raving about how awesome the music was. (Our wedding was a month ago tomorrow!) Also, we sat the intermediate family right next to the DJ area, and my new grandmother-in-law commented on how pleased she was with the volume during dinner, she could enjoy the wonderful music while still chatting with the family. Sean did a great job with the music. He took our taste in music and made a great playlist. He did a great job getting everyone pumped up during the bridal party intros and kept the party going all night. The reception was a blast and the dance floor was full all night! The flow of the music from cocktail hour to dinner to the reception was great as well.

The whole team at Party Express DJ's are awesome! Our number one compliment from our guest was how great the music was! They offer a variety of music and light services that let you customize your experience. A personal favorite of ours was the monogram service. For a very reasonable fee you can get a custom monogram made for projection during the reception, and then the little disc is yours to keep! Which can be used for a variety of things, we intend to turn ours into a Christmas ornament. They spent a lot of time working with us to make sure they understood what music we did and did not like. And boy the did not disappoint! We personally ended our reception with Bohemian Rhapsody, and our DJs for the nigh were able to get every remaining guest on the dance floor. We were fortunate enough to see them at a friend of ours wedding, so we knew we wanted them for ours. We 100% recommend them for anyone's wedding!

Can't recommend Sean and Party Express DJs enough! My husband and I were initially undecided about hiring a DJ for our wedding and were debating just putting together a playlist ourselves (1. to save some money and 2. to ensure the music selection), but ultimately decided to hire a professional and were so glad we did (in addition to the music and equipment, having Sean there was incremental for keeping our reception on schedule with the music to match!). From the beginning working with Sean was an absolute pleasure; he was professional, experienced, friendly, super responsive (which is so appreciated!) and made the entire process very straightforward and painless. After the initial inquiry and price quote and a few questions back and forth, we decided to book Sean. After sending him the signed contract along with a deposit and he sent us his wedding planning guide to fill out (that covered each part of the wedding). A month or so before the wedding we met Sean in person to review the wedding planning guide and discuss everything we wanted. Our meeting with Sean put any worries we had at ease. He helped us establish our reception timeline and took all of our (extensive!) notes and requests and we felt that he understood what we were looking for. On our wedding day, Sean completely exceeded our expectations! In addition to keeping the reception on schedule, he totally “got” us, the music was exactly what we envisioned (he worked in most, if not all(!), of our must-play list) and was a perfect reflection of us and our friends and family (it was so spot on that several friends came up to me and asked if we handed our DJ a song-by-song playlist!). Our wedding day came together perfectly and our guests had so much fun (the dance floor was never empty from the minute dinner ended!), but we could not have done it without Sean and Party Express DJs.

Sean and his team did a phenomenal job. They were super good about listening to our expectations for the night and our wants and dislikes. Sean did a really good job reading my guest and playing songs to keep guest dancing all night long. We aldo did an uplighting package through the Party Express DJs. It made our ballroom look stunning and i could not imagine our night looking any different. There was an issue where another bride and groom added onto their package which took away from our package. So versus jeopardizing our night, Sean gave us a free upgrade so we didn't lose anything. I was really appreciative of it. I highly recommend using the Party Express DJs and will use them for all my future DJ needs.

The Party Express Djs were awesome to work with. I didn't realize how much a dj runs the reception until we had a meeting going over all our wants and expectations for the day. Sean and Kevin were great with helping us through the music selection process and getting to know us personally so they could tailor our day to us. Sean was super professional and quick to respond to any emails I sent his way. When our big day finally came we had Kevin as our Dj and he was awesome! Our pre-ceremony started at 3:30 and he was there way in advance getting set-up. Throughout the evening he guided us when things were supposed to happen, and was super accommodating to my last minute changes. Everyone had a blast and we owe it to the Dj, he ran the show and we couldn't thank The Party Express Djs enough for everything they did from the planning process to our reception!!!!

I met Sean from the Party Express DJs at a bridal show at Stokesay castle. I wasn't quite ready to hire a DJ yet at that point, but after talking to Sean I immediately knew I had to have him as our DJ. Sean was extremely charismatic, very professional, and personable, but definitely in a good way and not "cheesy" as some DJs can be. Sean sent me the information immediately and when we had everything set, I sent the deposit and booked him. The weeks leading up until the wedding, Sean was great about communication and reminded via email. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding to get everything organized. He had some great input and followed up with an email outlining everything we had discussed and everything that we still needed to get to him. Sean even asked several times if there was anything else he could do to make the service better- I couldn't even think of anything to ask because he hit the nail on the head! During the day of our wedding, Sean came out to meet us and organize everyone. He stuck to our timeline to keep things moving (I was very concerned with the day dragging, but it definitely didn't). The dance floor was full and our guests all enjoyed the selection we chose with the songs he mixed in. The party was going so well, we asked him to stay a little longer! I would highly recommend Sean and his company for a wedding or any party event. My husband and I were very pleased!

Sean was everything we expected and more. Professional in every aspect: he returned phone calls/emails expeditiously, met with us on request, and made recommendations when needed. His knowledge of all types of music is fantastic. We wanted a lot of Christian rock..Sean delivered a nice mix of Christian rock mixed with contemporary songs which delighted all our guests. Sean keeps the party going without being intrusive. My husband and I could not be happier with our reception and Sean was a huge part of that success.

Sean was outstanding!!! He was a pleasure to work with, from the very beginning and paid attention to all the details. Sean and his coworker Kevin were great. Very entertaining and had everything planned perfectly from the point we met with Sean to go over the event to the execution on the day of our wedding. Their prices were very competitive and compared to some included A LOT more. I highly suggest giving them consideration if not booking them. Sean and the Party Express DJ team were excellent to work with. From the time we first contacted him, Sean responded very considerately and promptly to all of our wedding planning and contract questions, and did an excellent job of walking us through the information and decisions he needed us to make, both through email communications and in-person meetings. During our reception, Sean and Eric were very professional, courteous to us and our guests, and flexible with unique arrangements we had made (e.g., a flash mob) as well as last-minute changes (e.g., change in reception entrance announcements). They did our uplighting as well, which was beautiful (for dinner) and lots of fun (for dancing). They expertly arranged the order of songs and schedule for our evening to make sure guests remained engaged--the dance floor was always packed! Sean and the Party Express DJs certainly did their best to make sure we had the night that we had envisioned, and we're sure they'll do the same for you, too!

Sean and Jon did a fantastic job at our wedding! First and foremost, our wedding had to be moved an entire day earlier due to a huge blizzard coming in. The guys moved everything for us to accommodate our date and time change. The scenario was perfect for craziness/panic/stress to ensue: a blizzard was already starting outside Friday evening, the reception was a day earlier, and the time we had to do the reception was cut by about two hours. We were constantly out of the room to get pictures because we didn't have time between the wedding and reception to have them done. Despite all of that, Sean and Jon were professional, kept the evening set to a perfect pace, calm, collected, and just so helpful. Without them, I don't think we would have been able to pull off our day change. On top of all of their help with timing and their professional demeanor, they helped us pull off an entrance that made my husband's entire life! He is a huge fan of WWE: his brother and brothers-in-law used to wrestle with him in a professional sized wrestling ring they used to have in his parents' backyard. He wanted to have a WWE themed entrance where all of his groomsmen/best man could come in with the theme music to the character they used to pretend to be when they wrestled. Sean and Jon, I'm sure, spent a lot of time purchasing and setting up the song so that it would play at the perfect spot for each of the entrances. They did seven different wrestling characters entrance theme songs for us as well as the entrances for my parents, grandparents, and flower girl! It was so much fun! I can't say enough about the special things Sean and Jon did for us. They played a special song to which my junior bridesmaids choreographed a dance for us all to do, they announced an important present that my grandmother made for my husband, and they got our guests dancing and kept them happy as my husband and I had to slip out to get our pictures taken. Book these guys for your event and thank me later.

The Party Express DJs (Sean and Kevin were our DJs, and Sean handled all the pre-wedding meetings) were fantastic throughout the entire process of our wedding. His set at the wedding kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night (guests were remarking to us how they'd never seen so many people on a dance floor at a wedding). He listened to our requests of what kind of music we wanted during cocktail hour and during dancing and nailed it. He checked with us when odd requests came in to ensure it was a song we wouldn't mind hearing at our wedding.

Wow! The Party Express DJs deliver an AWESOME experience. I hired The Party Express DJs for my October 2015 wedding. Right from the start, Sean was very responsive, professional, and intent on incorporating all of our requests/preferences into the reception. Sean also provided all of our uplighting, which was beautiful! It truly made the ambience of the entire reception perfect! I was very happy with pricing, as well-- very reasonable. You don't realize how important the DJ is in the grand scheme of your reception until the big day-- and I am so happy that we chose Party Express. All of our guests had a great time, Sean did a great job of reading the crowd, and he stayed true to my do not play list! He made a great effort to ensure he was pronouncing the wedding party names correctly--and the entrance in general was PERFECT! I asked him to play "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit and really wanted to make our entrance at the chorus, and he nailed it! I cannot say enough fantastic things about The Party Express DJs. We gave Sean and Eric creative freedom throughout the night, which I would also recommend. They were flexible, in altering the color during cocktail hour from what was originally discussed, to help accommodate our photographers during group photos. Throughout the night they had fun with the lighting, especially once the formalities were over, and really used the lighting to keep the evening exciting and fun.
