I would only recommend Lacy as a month-of coordinator. She executed beautifully for the wedding weekend itself, but she fell short on the planning leading up to the wedding. She ...
lacked attention to detail when reviewing orders/details, mismanaged the budget expectations from the start, and was not proactive in outreach. We felt as if she did not fulfill her contractual responsibilities for the planning.
Highly recommend working with Lacy (especially if you are doing an event on Long Island!!)
We held a multi-day wedding weekend. We had a micro ceremony with family, a welcome event...
and then our regular wedding and reception. We had a mix of local vendors as well as many that we had travel in from NYC and beyond. Lacy helped to keep all of them on track.
Lacy was a great guiding force as we navigated how to deal with town permits and restrictions (we held our event in East Hampton) and helped us design our event that many of the items could also be repurposed. (Being as green as possible as important to us)
I had a specifically design look in mind, and Lacy helped source local vendors for us and even found the specific linen pattern to rent in order to pull the look off.
We also had a little bit of a complex ask - where we purchased or made many custom items and Lacy helped us keep the whole operation organized from prior to after the event. Our venue was semi-new (their second wedding season), so they were able to rely on Lacy’s expertise.
Long story short, hire Lacy!! If you are throwing an event esp in the Hamptons, be prepared to deal with permits and random town restrictions so you definitely will want a professional on your side !!! We were so incredibly relaxed during our wedding weekend, we had so many people comment on how chill we were and it’s all because of Lacy.

e Party New York was very thorough and calm while preparing all these decorations. She was very understandable with my budget. Not only she made it work as what I've dreamt for my wedding around my budget, but also beautifully! On my wedding day, the ceremony was supposed to be held outdoor rooftop, but this windy/cold NY weather didn't allow us to have it done like we've planned. So we had to change the place to hold the ceremony. When I walked in, I was surprised with how much I liked the setting even with the last minute change. Everything was perfect.
Bouquet, boutonniere, wedding arch, and table decor... everything was perfect! She really did a good job. t her. In the weeks leading up the wedding, Lacy really ramped up her communications with the venue and the vendors, making sure everything was running smoothly and that everyone was on the same page. She just made sure everything was in order for the day.
On the day, Lacy was a rockstar. We were faced with some last-minute weather obstacles, and she handled everything with ease, making herself very accessible as we got ready in the hotel. Lacy even fulfilled my wishes of napkins in the shape of bows, folding and gluing the ribbon individually for the reception. We just loved how looked after everything and had it all handled... we didn't have to do anything on the day.
Lacy maintained a great attitude during the entire day; she was a joy to work with, not just when it came to us, but also how she handled all of our family and friends.
