The Pastry Corner

To say I was happy with our wedding cake is an understatement. Our cake was not just delicious, but a masterpiece and beautifully made. We couldn’t ask for more from this wonderful place. Thank you so much!!!

Amazing!

I only used this the Pastry Corner as they have a contract with my reception venue to provide the wedding cake. Having seen their sample cakes at a vendor show and on their website, I already had low expectations. The cake they made for our wedding was even more mediocre than I imagined. The Pastry Corner was also too lazy to find the ribbon in the colors we suggested for the cake. Although they offer brides the opportunity to design their own cake, when we sent a picture of some basic silver, gold, and white ribbon that we wanted they said that the design would look "bad." My wedding planner and I have a hunch that they didn't want to take 30 minutes to head to a craft store. The wedding planner came back to them and told them that they should go ahead with the design we suggested. The result was 3 different types and thicknesses of ribbon sloppily bordering the tiers of our cake. If possible, I will post pictures of this cake when my photographer sends me the photos We had ordered carrot cake, which was okay. However, the texture seemed syrupy, like someone had used an abundance of high fructose corn syrup to sweeten it up. Overall, a distinct thumbs down!

I feel so lucky to have found this amazing bakery. We had so many compliments on our cake. Not only the appearance of it, but the taste of it. It was a raspberry moose, and many people who hate cake, loved it at our wedding. They were able to work with our budget, and they are very friendly!
