Working with Nikki and the staff at Saddleback was fabulous! They were so accommodating to all our requests. The service, the day of our reception was amazing. We had and continue to receive so many compliments on the food, the drink and how fun our reception was! It was a beautiful night, with a magnificent sunset our guests loved!! I would highly recommend this venue for your event.
The venue itself was fantastic! It was beautiful, overall I couldn't have asked for a more perfect location! The only downside I experienced at Saddleback was our wedding/ day-of coordinator. The main coordinator never reached out to me during the planning process, which made me a bit apprehensive that things were actually going to get put together, she'd only respond on my initiative. On my actual wedding day, she rushed me out the door to get down the aisle without handing me my bouquet. That made me really upset that I didn't have my bouquet because it was beautiful and I loved the florist I worked with. Then at the time of serving the cake, my DJ and photographer asked if the cake could be moved out of the center of the room while my husband and I did our first dance. She got snappy and said we had plenty of room to dance. It took some coaxing to get the table moved off the dance floor. Overall, I really did have a wonderful wedding, but these small details could have been avoided if the coordinator acted more professional. It seemed like it was her first time, but I know it wasn't..
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Saddleback. The venue was beautiful, our decorations were simple yet matching for the setting. They have a lot of inclusive packages so it made planning simple. The only thing we were not incredibly impressed with was the food. It was okay, but nothing I would order again at a restaurant.
This is an absolute beautiful venue! The views are to die for, and it's location is just out of the way enough for it to be peaceful and quiet. The staff are attentive and helpful, and lots of great options for caterering on site! You will definitely have AMAZING pictures at this venue, just because the landscaping, view of the mountains, and buildings on site are all picture perfect!
I am writing in response to the comment about Cory (the wedding coordinator for Saddleback). Cory was let go as of 2012 and they have replaced their wedding coordinator. The venue has had made many improvements including a new clubhouse and a new coordinator!
Picked the venue because it was such a beautiful outdoor landscape and showed the beauty of what Colorado is all about. unfortunately it was pouring cats and dogs on our wedding day, the coordinater and the staff at the venue were very prompt in changing things around to keep us dry inside, it took less than 5 minutes. They were very prompt at returning phone calls and emails through the whole planning process, I would use them again in a heart beat .
Saddleback Golf Club has amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and even more amazing sunsets. The General Manager, Whitey was very helpful and we enjoyed working with him. My husband and all his friends had a blast playing the course which all said was a challanging adventure. If you are looking for a place that isn't in the city, but not quite in the mountains, I would suggest SBG. Having said that, the wedding coordinator for the venue is TERRIBLE.
