The Pavilion is located just off I-540 minutes from the RDU Airport in the heart of William B. Umstead State Park. Enjoy panoramic water views of the Angus Barn lake’s natural beauty and the delicious food and award-winning hospitality of The Angus Barn and Five Star awarded & Iron Chef America winner Walter Royal. The Pavilion can accomodate from 70-400 people. All inclusive wedding options from ceremony to reception with dining choices including station, plated, cocktail style service and a full range on in-house amenities with tables & decor, chairs, linen, china, hi-fi audio visual equipment, staging and service.

Faith truly made our event the most spectacular wedding that we could have ever imagined! I’m so thankful for this team and all they did to create our wedding! we had a large wedding and everything was so perfect from the food to the drinks to the service. Everything was spectacular!

The Angus Barn Pavilion staff is fantastic! They walk you through the process, point you in the right direction, and connect you with other vendors they have relationships with. The were very easy to work with and were on task. They had everything set up and help break everything down. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding reception. 10/10 would host an event here again!!!

Melissa and her team were very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating! We had amazing food, wonderful and attentive service, and the whole team truly made us feel special and celebrated! We enjoyed the whole planning process with the team and look forward to the amazing fall photos we're anticipating!

The Pavilion at the Angus Barn was the PERFECT wedding venue! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the location, staff, and food. The hospitality shown to us (bride/groom) and all of our guests was exceptional, and our guests are still raving about the food. Sarah, our event coordinator, was amazing! Her patience and very prompt responses to the million of emails that were needed to plan a wedding with 3 different dates during a pandemic was greatly appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to Sarah and all of the staff at The Pavilion for making our wedding day so special!
