The Pennant

Located in Topeka, KS, The Pennant is a rehearsal dinner venue that serves both food and drink. Weddings held here can be supplied with a wide range of delicious dishes, including burgers, salads, milkshakes, and more. Keeping meals fresh is one of this venue's top priorities. This is why many of their ingredients are sourced from local producers, adding a community aspect to the overall service. The Pennant began with Miss Patricia Beezley. She established a cafeteria for everyone from school-aged children to government officials. Each individual had the chance to enjoy delicious homemade pastries, tasty ham and rib, and Miss Breezley-approved gravy to put on top. This local hub became an iconic gathering spot where locals could enjoy jovial banter and catching up with friends or neighbors. Part of the community, of course, were the Topeka Reds and Topeka Owls. Nowadays, up to 80 guests can attend a special event at The Pennant. The Pennant was built and expanded upon with gatherings in mind. Essentials like tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, and televisions are included in rentals. Food and beverage options are available, ranging from veggie platters to off the hook salmon bars. Other options like a burger bar, smokey apple sliders, and a nacho bar are also available. Upstairs, there are over 50 vintage arcade games to enjoy. Included in the bunch is Galaga, Pac-Man, and Skee-Ball. Alternatively, you and your guests can spend time in the beer garden that overlooks Kansas Avenue. Down below, there are four bowling alleys, completing a multi-storied playground of fun.
