I was in charge of planning a staff appreciation for the organization I work for. I reached out to the event coordinator, Edden, with some questions and what it might look like to ...host an event at The People' Court and Edden responded promptly with the different options and prices. This was helpful, because I only had 10 days to plan this event and Edden was punctual and worked with me on the planning and also made some adjustments to fit the budget I was given. The planning was painless, and the clarity of the event and expectations where clear and simple.
Staff, many of which had not previously been introduced to pickleball or any of the other games, really enjoyed and I received positive feedback on their experience. The food was delivered on time and met the needs of all staff, including those with dietary needs I.e vegetarian and and vegan options. Fountain drinks were readily available and clearly labeled for "REAP", which was nice to have.
I have no regrets or complaints about the event, other than I should have reserved the pickleball courts longer! Pickleball was definitely the main attraction and for those who chose not to participate, had comfortable seating with clear viewing of the courts, so they could watch and feel like they were a part of the experience.
I would recommend this to others looking for event space or to host a party and I am excited to return to put some well needed work on my back hand.
