One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time in the indoor lodge room. The big fireplace, cozy atmosphere, and the smell of wood and warmth made movie nights with the kids so memorable. We also enjoyed playing music and just hanging out together, felt like a home.
The whole experience was exactly what we needed: calm, comfortable, family-friendly, and incredibly refreshing. We had such a wonderful time and would 100% come back again with our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway!

time ago coming home. The lights, the sound, the feels were all just right. I'd never been there but it felt like it was all set up for me - for something wonderful to happen... or maybe just to relax. Music was playing in the lounge, a family had a chess game going at the bar, and another group sat talking around a gorgeous fireplace. The music was perfect for, I don't know if this is possible but...every mood? Our room lacked nothing in luxury and comfort and, were it not for Sunday morning yoga, maybe nothing would have pulled us away. The yoga instructor, a calm and steady presence, reminded me that I CAN (in spite of years at the laptop) still do camel, lizard, and other desert creatures, and the class was attended by locals and hotel guests. We spent the morning in conversation with new friends we met there, taking in the incredible views, warming beside the fireplace, paging through the many books, appreciating the decor. I texted all the wedding planners I know to recommend The Perch and if I was in film and tv, I'd be doing the same with location scouts. Am i gushing? Cuz, I LOVED it. Don't miss this gem of a place. It's like finding fossils in your hearthstone.

Super cute boutique hotel in the Catskills! Decor is very sweet - love the downstairs area to chill in with board games. Very clean. Was in a pretty good location, all of the towns we wanted to visit was only 20-30 mins away which was great. Hi...

So so wonderful! Highly recommended! The fall colors were amazing. The suite we stayed in is off by itself, giving it a real sense of privacy and escape from the world. The entire suite was lovely and comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous....
The lounge area was the biggest surprise for us, though. We were there to get time to ourselves, and that's mostly how we spent it, but we participated in the free yoga class (!) on Sunday morning and never got back to our room. There was a really nice spread of yogurt and fruit and teas and coffee and danishes, there was a fire, and the set-up of the lounge was really cozy and welcoming and--more than any place I have ever stayed--it was a space that really invited people to just hang out, chat, play pool or board games, enjoy the view. The people working there was so nice and fun to talk with. I look forward to staying at the Perch again!

e is clutch. The vintage charm and nods to the Catskills and its history are tasteful and cool.. Not to mention the views and how close the hotel is to all you need! We will be back and highly recommend. Katie really made us feel at home.
