The Phase5 Band

Words can’t describe how amazing Josh and the band are!! Their performance at my wedding yesterday was incredible. It was better than I could ever have imagined. I have guests texting me telling me what an amazing band I had! Our dance floor was full from start to finish and we could’ve danced all night long. I am a destination bride and had to book the band without hearing them in person previously. I had a strong feeling they were a great band but they totally blew us away. They are by far the best band I have ever heard. Not to mention they are unbelievably easy to work with and such a pleasure!!! Thank you so much

"WOW" is the best descriptor for Josh and Phase5 band! My husband and I added the guitarist for cocktail hour music (fantastic!), and added the saxophone as well. Just from the videos alone, my husband and I were so excited that we were able to book, but hearing them live is a whole new experience - they were the best live band I've heard!! I had so many moments where I didn't even realize it was the band, just from how fantastic and high quality their performance was. We heard the same compliments from many of our guests - everyone loved them, and most importantly, everyone was dancing!! Working with them was the greatest pleasure and honor of ours, we HIGHLY recommend them! I hope we can hear them live again!

Phase 5 is the best wedding band in the Tampa area, no question! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Josh, Robyn and the rest of the band were on our wedding night. The group is not only talented, but incredibly professional, organized, engaging and fun! They played a low key set for our cocktail hour, nailed the parent dance song choices and really started the party during the reception. We and our guests were on the dance floor all evening and that is a testament to what an enjoyable and entertaining band they are! Josh and Phase5 Band were absolutely phenomenal! Josh was so easy to work with, great at communicating and most importantly-put together such a wonderful "show" for our wedding. They had everyone on the dance floor all night-played all of our favorite songs and even went along with my dad to cue an intro song during his FOB speech. Hiring this band is one of the best decisions you can make for your wedding!

Where do I begin with Phase 5 Band?! They are WONDERFUL. Not only are they great performers, but they are so easy to work with as well! Josh is very organized and communicative. They were able to do a 'private last dance' song for my husband and I, which was so sweet and special. They had EVERYONE out on the dance floor - it was never empty! All of our guests are still talking about how awesome the band was! Everyone had such a fun time singing along and dancing (they play a great selection of songs - none of the cheesy ones!). Would 1000% recommend choosing Phase 5 - you won't regret it!

As we started planning, there was one vendor I knew I had to lock down before making any other choices - and it was Phase5! I had heard them at other weddings and local events and knew I had to have them! Phase5 is fantastic! Josh is so easy to work with and provided all the recommendations I needed to ensure I picked the right music for my special day! They were so flexible and easy to work with - they quickly tore down and set up in another location after a quick Florida rain. We are still receiving rave reviews from our friends and family about Phase5!

BEST DECISION EVER! The band truly made the night. We are very into music and had a lot of special request all of which were handled with ease. You can tell the band really enjoys performing and the female vocalist is out of this world. Highly recommend adding in some additional interments. We had the guitar for the ceremony as well as the sax which made for complete sound. Josh was very easy to get in contact with and was very accommodating to learning our first dance song. Great to work with such professional talent. We had a hot humid night and they played with only one break and kept the energy up. Very reasonably priced, we live up North and expected to pay much more for level of performance. Thanks phase5, we hope to hear you again soon!

My husband and I didn't have to think twice about the type of music we wanted for our wedding. We wanted a band. I have known Josh and members of the Phase 5 band for a few years now and they even played at one of bridesmaid's wedding a couple years back. I knew we had to have them, and they graciously drove all the way up to St. Augustine for our wedding! THEY WERE AMAZING!! Everyone had a fabulous time and the band did not disappoint. Thank you to everyone who made our day pretty much one of the most memorable day's of my life.

Phase 5 did an amazing job at our wedding. Josh Walther was extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process. We used them for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. The band did a great job throughout the night making sure everyone was dancing. Everyone loved their energy and played music from a variety of decades. We had a lot of guests comment on how awesome they were. Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night. They even let some of our bridal party participate, even though we were awful. Phase 5 was awesome and I would highly recommend them.

Just... wow! I'm trying not to be biased (since I hired them for my own wedding) but Phase 5 is the best wedding band I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Josh and the rest of the band are true professionals, and really know how to keep the energy level going. They even accommodated a last minute music change up without hesitation. I had so my guests approach me for the band's information after the reception was over; they were a hit and I would use their services again in a hearbeat!

Josh Walther was so easy to communicate with from the beginning, that there was actually no need to even meet until the afternoon of the wedding. Knowing the Phase5 band’s wonderful reputation, I had no concern about the music ~ we just had a few other small decisions to make, such as set up, ceremony music, cocktail hour music, etc. The wedding was held at an estate and a bit challenging due to the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing being held in different locations. There were a couple of unexpected hurdles, and even though we never discussed a resolution, Josh was flexible and forward thinking and made the music happen when it was appropriate to do so! The band was able to appeal to the multi-generational span of guests at the family wedding. Phase5 plays a wide variety of music… our wedding music spanned from Dean Martin and Sinatra to 21st-century pop and even a little country. Once the party got started, it didn’t end! People we didn’t expect to see on the dance floor were dancing. And everyone was smiling. Our guests complimented the band all night, and now, a week and a half later, I’m still getting calls asking about the band! Who are they? Where did you find them? And, “That band MADE the wedding!”!!! Josh Walther and the Phase5 band typically has a few free events that they appear at during the year. Check them out! You’ll be so glad that you did! There aren't enough words to use to recommend Phase 5 band and to explain how incredible they are. I had a vision for my wedding reception, I wanted everyone on the dance floor dancing. That was easy with Phase 5. They completely brought a new dimension to a reception. I cried when the night was over. The lead singers were incredible. The musicians amazing. I have had so many guests ask who our band was and how do they find them. Everyone loved them and everyone said our wedding was by far the best they had ever been to thanks to Phase 5. Josh is so wonderful to work with and made the planning process easy. He's a great guy and it was great meeting him! We are planning future parties just to have Phase 5 play there!!

We feel so lucky to have had Phase5/Inspire Entertainment as our wedding band! The song selection, flow of music from dinner to dancing, and the DJ playing during band breaks was perfect. I have had so many people that attended the wedding tell me afterwards how "blown away" they were by the band. One of our guests even reached out to Josh afterwards to book him for a charity ball she is hosting a year out from now, but they were already booked. They are THAT good.

One of our biggest goals were our wedding was that we wanted everyone to have a great time. Judging by the crowd that was on the dance floor until they played their last song, I think we accomplished it. Josh and his group were great at keeping energy up and are immensely talented artists. I'm almost loathe to say Phase5 is the best wedding band I've ever witnessed, because I've paid to see bands on the Sunset Strip that weren't as good as these guys. They are top-notch in every way, and it was by far our best investment.

Phase5 is hands down the best live band for a wedding. So many of my guests spoke to me specifically about how great the band was. Josh was super easy to work with and get in touch with. When I was unsure about our first dance song, he provided some great recommendations based on his experience. We wanted to do 1/2 a slow song then go right into a fast song so everyone could join in. It was perfect. We also went nontraditional where we did the first dances after dinner. Since we wanted our guests to join in, we wanted them to feel a little more loose after a little time at the bar. Since their forms are all online and re-loadable, I was able to spend a lot of time brainstorming the different options before I submitted my final choices. I highly recommend Phase5 band for any occasion.

Phase5 was amazing! Our friend recommended the band to us and we couldn't be happier. Everyone was dancing the entire night and continues to compliment us on how great the band was! They played many different types of music that the crowd enjoyed. The master of ceremonies kept everything going smoothly and the transitions were great. We added the horns/saxophone and they were amazing - really made the band stand out from others! We also had the saxophone at the cocktail hour - I was not able to hear him, but the guests told me he was great! Couldn't be happier with our band choice! I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

Your wedding isn't complete without Phase5! They were INCREDIBLE! We were so impressed with how amazing they were. The music was so upbeat and all of our guests couldn't resist dancing! You MUST choose Phase5 as your reception band! They are so incredibly talented and add the right amount of class to the wedding. We had all ages out on the dance floor and complimenting the band all through the night- and still a month later, they are still a topic of conversation! My dad, who has played in bands all his life and a tough critic (and this band was admittedly not his first choice!), raved about the band and thought they were incredibly talented. It didn't hurt either that he bragged to all of his friends about how they played with Paul McCartney a couple of months back. :) I would highly recommend Phase5 for any reception as the perfect accent to the evening!!!

Phase5 is an amazing, professional live band who recently played at my son's wedding. The music they played was current, and the vocalists overwhelmingly did the songs they covered so well. All of our family and guests could not stop commenting on how much they enjoyed the band and how good they sounded! Also, Phase5 did an excellent job on the bridal party introductions and other reception announcements. They also went above and beyond to accomodate a special request of the groom. They all were so personable and so easy to work with. Having Phase 5 bring their live music really made the night of dancing very special. Their sound was perfect, the volume perfect, and added such class to the reception. As one guest said, the reception was "over the top"! You will not be disappointed booking Phase5 for your event. Everyone will enjoy the live music and the special touch it adds to your reception. It is like having a private concert played tailored for you! Awesome!

It was awesome to have Phase5 perform at our wedding reception. They allowed us to fully customize the entertainment by picking the playlist and the instruments. With Phase5, we got exactly what we were looking for. They were even willing to learn a new song for my wife and I to have our first dance to and they performed it wonderfully. I was very impressed by their willingness to accommodate our tastes and the mood of the event. The band members were very perceptive to the crowd and always seemed to play the right song at the right time. Phase5 really knows how to get a crowd excited and before too long, the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way for a very long time. When choosing our wedding band we were so lucky to have found phase5. My husband and I enjoy timpanos in Tampa on Tuesday evenings because we are able to listen to phase5. After hiring them we were able to listen to songs they play and make recommendations to help us pick our songs. One special feature they offer is that the band will learn a new song for a wedding. They coordinated with my husband and he created a surprise dance with my bridesmaids to Easton Corbin's lovin you is fun. We chose to have a Sunday wedding and their prices were more reasonable than a Saturday evening. My husband and I love our wedding band. Every guest was buzzing about how great they were and they were very memorable for everyone. The vocals of josh and Sam are phenomenal and even when they took a break they dj music. Another plus that they offer is a reasonable up lighting package. We choose blue and it made the venue look great. Phase5 is very professional and responsive. I recommend them very highly and we were so lucky to have them as part of our wedding.

We actually got Phase5 from another wedding we attended. They were so incredible we knew we wanted them for our daughter's wedding. Working with Josh from the beginning was amazing. Very professional. He and Samantha are like no other!! Their voices the sound of the band, music played...they ROCK!!!! The DJing awesome as well! Our only complaint is the reception ended too soon and no one was done partying! I would HIGHLY recommend Phase5 to anyone for any function! You will not be disappointed!!

Today my husband and I celebrate our three year wedding anniversary and looking back to our wedding I have to say we had the best wedding band ever! Josh and the Phase 5 band were amazing from the first meeting to the wedding day! The pianist played during our cocktail hour then the 6 piece band played during our reception. The music pleased all age groups and there were people on the dance floor non-stop! We also asked Josh to allow us to have an hour of live band karaoke (since that's how my husband and I met) and he made it happen! He had ipads for guests to see the lyrics and we had a blast. At the end of the night, we didn't want to stop the party so Josh (who was also the DJ) stayed another hour to keep the party going. Every year I'm going to look back on our wedding day and thank Phase 5 for making it so memorable. Thank you guys!

Josh and company were amazing! Phase 5 played at our wedding August 2, and it was the party of the year! They played exactly what we wanted and rocked out the whole time. We had a delay because of rain, but they were flexible with timing and wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied. I had multiple guests come up to me asking who the band was and telling me they were the best wedding band they had heard. So thank you Phase 5! We love you guys. We couldn't have been happier with having Phase5 for our wedding reception. Having found the band on the internet and not witnessing their talented performance in person, we were blown away by them! Josh was professional and pleasant to work with leading up to the wedding date and just as wonderful the night of the event. The dance floor was packed from the moment they started playing until the end of the night. A perfect collection of songs that appealed to everyone. Everyone was gushing about how great this band was and I highly recommend them!!!

Phase 5 band was hired to play at my daughter's wedding reception in Boca Grande, FL on 4-26-14. They exceeded all of my expectations. From early on to booking them, to email communications, to working with us on the timeline, to entertaining, to working with the venue staff etc. they get 10 out of 10 stars from me. They knew how to MC the reception and keep the evening flowing. Literally people were dancing the entire time they were playing. Thank you Phase 5 band.

Phase5 recently performed at our wedding in March and people are still talking about how great they were! They were so easy to work with. Josh's experience made for such a stress free and enjoyable day. We had them sing on the beach at our ceremony and they truly made our ceremony even more beautiful. They kept us all dancing well into the night. I loved that they played current music and not just your traditional wedding songs you here at every wedding. I can't say enough great things about this band!

WOW! Phase5 was even better than I imagined they would be! I cannot tell you how many guests raved to us about how amazing they were! They really know how to set the mood! They also provided our up-lighting for us, that looked amazing! When I (the bride) requested a song they didn't have on their list, they got it for me! They were so great! You won't regret this band! This was the best part of our wedding! To say Josh and the rest of Phase 5 were incredible would be an understatement! Our guests LOVED them, and we are STILL having people come up to us, asking about our band, where we found them, and how great they were! They are all so talented, and we are so thankful we went with them. They were organized, fun, and the dance floor stayed packed with guests of all ages! We would book with them a hundred times over!

As the mother of the bride, I had very high expectations for our daughter's wedding celebration and wanted it to be absolutely perfect. After reading reviews and listening to Phase 5 perform at Timpano's restaurant, we were sold and booked them over a year ago. I was absolutely amazed at their performance at our daughter's wedding reception at The Vinoy this past Saturday evening! They performed their "master of ceremonies" duties perfectly, and proceeded to play a never ending succession of songs that kept ALL of our guests dancing the night away! I knew we had hit a home run when I saw no one at their tables, but rather on the dance floor. They played music that appealed to all age groups as well, so even my 85 year old mother- in- law had a wonderful time! Our guests have raved about the band - so many people came up to me and asked me where I had found the fabulous group of performers. The vocalist was amazing - I cannot give them enough compliments! Thank you Josh and company for truly making the night magical!

Phase 5 is simply an awesome band. They played at our wedding reception in Jupiter, FL in June 2013 and had the crowd thumping all night long! I think the ultimate compliment to them came when our reception was crashed by people wanting to see what kind of amazing party was going on! :) Even better, my husband and father-in-law are both finicky musicians themselves, and they wholeheartedly approved of Phase 5. As an added bonus, in addition to the live music, Josh also provides professional DJing. This worked out so well, as we were able to fulfill almost all of our guests' song requests either through the band or via the recorded music. Josh was so friendly and easy to contact for setting up all the details. Highly, highly recommended!!

Busted Blues was the entertainment for our daughter's wedding 04/21/2012. They were fantastic and kept on going even in the "monsoon" that occurred during the reception. Have only good things to say about their performance, attitude and endurance.

Phase 5 made our wedding night absoultely perfect and SO much fun! We love to dance and so do our family and friends and we had so much fun. They came as a band and DJ because my husband and I couldn't decide - truly the perfect compromise. They sang our first dance which was just even better than the original. Josh was so easy to work with and so patient and really helped me whenever I needed anything. They were just so easy to work with and so amazing to listen to! I had a destination wedding in Florida this past April. Not being from the area, it was more difficult to research local bands. I started looking online, but found cheesy wedding band after cheesy wedding band. I was getting discouraged and was about to go with a DJ, but then I came across Phase 5. I viewed their videos online, and they were EXACTLY what I was looking for. They had a great look and amazing voices. I started asking some other vendors that I was working if they had any band recommendations, and every single one of them said Phase 5. So, I knew it was meant to be! When I first contacted Josh about playing at my wedding, he told me they were booked for my date. I was so disappointed, that I started to look into changing my wedding date, just so I could have them play. Luckily, it was a mix up, and they were available! What I liked most about Josh and Phase 5 was that Josh is also a professional DJ, so I was able to have a DJ and Band all in one. They also provided my ceremony music, and did my uplighting. Josh always immediately responded to any emails and questions I had, and the wedding went perfect. I could not have been happier with Phase 5 and my guests kept raving about the band for days after the wedding. I can honestly say that having Phase 5 play at my wedding was the main reason everyone had so much fun.

I had Josh for my ceremony and cocktail hour music. The trio was unlike anything anyone had seen and the reviews from the guests were outstanding. His voice is unreal and the three of them together set the mood for an amazing evening. You will be lucky if you can book them for your event!

Phase5 was amazing for our wedding and some of my friends have already booked them since. I got so many compliments after on how great they were. They got everyone dancing and by the time our wedding was over at midnight, people didn't want to leave and would have keep dancing if they could! Josh and Phase5 were a pleasure to have perform at our wedding. From our first talk Josh explained all the details and was very responsive when we had follow up questions. Picking out music on their site inspiredj.com was fun and painless with their system. They had an amazing set up the day of and did everything from introductions to cake announcement and bouquet toss to keep things going as planned. Their range of music was great for everyone from our college friends to our older family members, and they played with great energy all the way to the end of the night. We cannot say enough about Phase5 and do not hesitate to recommend them to play at any memorable event.

These 2 bands are amazing. I used Busted Blues for my ceremony and phase5 for the reception. I was probably too picky with them only for the fact that I am a musician but they were super nice and listened to everything I asked for. Josh W. is the head guy, he's awesome, got back to my calls and emails fast. My friends loved every song performed & on breaks Josh would set up a DJ play list. GOOD MUSIC FOR 4 HOURS! The red head female lead singer is fiesty & sexy. Her voice got better through the night... amazing!!!

You guys were amazing!!! Everyone raved about the band all night. I would recommend you guys to every bride! You did the best job with the horah- one of my guests said it was the best they had ever seen. You did an excellent job of feeling the crowd and playing a great mix of classics and pop. We loved our DJ Josh Walther and the band Busted Blues! We would highly recommend Inspire Entertainment. Everyone from all age groups was dancing ALL nigt long and we got tons of compliments on the band! Everyone had a blast thanks to them ;)

When we were interviewing potential DJs in the beginning, I was all about having a DJ b/c my experience with bands have been either average or not good. When our wedding planner recommended Phase 5 and the DJ combo, my then fiancé was all over it. I was skeptical but after talking to Josh, reading a bunch of reviews and hearing some of the band’s songs – I was sold. Our family/friends love to dance so we wanted to have great music to have people out on the dance floor the whole night. Josh and Samantha have amazing voices and the songs they played were modern and fit the mood. Phase 5 played for a couple hrs – during the dining and first hour of dancing. The last two hours of the night, Josh took over as DJ to keep the dance floor crowded. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting about how good the band was and how much fun they had!! Dealing with Josh was great – easy going, open to requests and gave us a good deal for the band/DJ combo (also included the lighting, which was a nice touch to our room). We were at the Don CeSar and moved to the larger Grand Ballroom at the last minute and Josh was able to accommodate with more lighting at a discount. Overall, great experience with Inspire Entertainment and HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want the hands down best band, a 5 star DJ or both!

Josh will always be one of the great heroes of our wedding! We were a long distance couple from Los Angeles where I am a musician and work in catering. I work at a wedding or two every week and see all kinds of DJ's and bands. We hired Phase 5 to play our reception and Josh to be our after-party DJ. They were a huge hit! Even though it was 80something degrees and the sun was high in the sky, people couldn't resist the urge to get on the dance floor. Josh is an amazing talent and has such a versatile voice. He and his bass player were also gracious enough to let our friend get up and sing us a song. Not only did our guests have a blast, but people in the area couldn't help but stop by to listen to how great they sounded! All day during our reception, guests were saying to us "These guys are so great! Where did you find this band?" We continue to receive compliment upon compliment about Josh. He is also the perfect DJ to have at your wedding because he is the opposite of cheeseball (we all know the type). He played exactly what we asked for and provided beautiful lighting to set the mood when the sun went down. Josh's website is incredibly easy. In fact, he is the one wedding vendor we never even needed to talk to! We just went on his website and created our play (and do not play) list. He has it set up in such an easy and organized way. It's no surprise to us that he won a national "Entertainer of The Year" award and we feel so lucky that our wedding planner recommended him! We HIGHLY recommend him!

Josh is one of the most responsive communicators I have ever met. Band is awesome and Josh is an absolute darling! We were referred through friends to his band and unfortunately he is already booked...10 months in advance! Must book him early as he and his band are one of a kind.
