Ashley and her team communicated with me frequently and answered as many questions as I need regarding purchasing appropriate extensions in order to make my hair dreams come true! They were even very flexible in rebooking my trial so my extensions were in on time. My makeup looked natural and I felt so beautiful because of this company's amazing work! There were women that wear makeup normally and others that really don't and among that 8 women getting hair and make up done, there was a wide range of skin tone and complexions and hair types. And every single woman so excited and in love with how they looked. On top of that hair and makeup for everyone stayed like perfection all night. My makeup didn't feel caked on and my hair felt really natural. This was also a South Asian wedding. Ashley helped me figure out what would look best with the tikka on the day of the trial and and she and her team put in tikkas in our hair effectively. Further, while I ended up not having my dupatta pinned into my hair, Ashley was more than willing to help me make it work. Finally, I really wanted to look beautiful without looking really over the top and she really made me look stunning. 1000% would recommend Ashley and her team!!!

I loved my hair and makeup that she did at the trial, and appreciated that she took the time to understand the slight changes that I wanted to make for the day of the wedding. I don't think I can fully express how ecstatic I was with the final result. When I looked in the mirror I was literally shocked at my reflection. I had already loved what she had done at the trial, but I was completely enamored at the small - but perfect - tweaks she did for the wedding day. My hair had the perfect amount of "texture" on the top, while having curled tendrils hanging down, and my makeup was perfect - perfect. It looked like "me" but in a more dramatic wedding-vibe. Everyone commented on how flawless my makeup looked, and I really felt so completely beautiful. It also all stayed in place until 4am! If you want amazing hair and makeup, you should definitely book Philly Hair & Makeup!

still nervous leading up to the day. 😂 When the wedding day came I was sick and a ball of nerves and Ashley was so incredibly nice and warm and tried above and beyond what I expected to make me feel better. Not to mention, my hair and makeup was absolutely perfect. She was so patient as we picked the perfect pieces of hair to be down around my face. Not only was I sick, but I also have a hooded eye that always smears, an oily forehead, and throughout the day I cried multiple times (yes, I am a mess), but my make up lasted 12 plus hours flawlessly! For the first time ever, my eyes did not smear, and somehow, I had no shine on my forehead!!! She truly is a miracle worker.

I had a trial with Ashley in July, and not only was she lovely, she knew right away what look I was going for and on the first attempt totally nailed it. She duplicated it again on my wedding day and the style held well into the late night. So grateful for Ashley and I'm so glad I decided to go with her on the biggest day of my life!

The day of, the girls were prompt to arrive at our hotel and stuck to the schedule getting everyone done in time for the day ahead. I loved not having travel anywhere to get ready.

I could decide. She was super nice, patient, and listened to what I was interested in/looked all the inspiration photos I brought. My mom ended up going back to have trials with Ashley as well. On the day of my wedding, we had Ashley and Christina doing hair and makeup for me, my mom, my mother-in-law, and hair for 3 of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked beautiful—I’ve certainly never felt that beautiful—and it was all on schedule, calm and low-stress. Hiring pros is not inexpensive, but I did a lot of research before booking my trial, and PH&MC was pretty reasonable/competitive for their quality and services. Thanks so much, Ashley!

ying $200+ for a trial I expect to see "day of" results. The makeup was simple even though I asked for dramatic eyes. When I got home I took a few selfies and you could see the highlighter or whatever it was reflecting when the flash was on. It reflected under my one eye(looked like Nelly), spots on my cheek and around my nostrils. So I left the trial looking like a Vegas show girl after a long night of partying. On the other hand, my bridesmaids looked beautiful! They were all pleasantly surprised with the results. Especially my brother's wife who has very dark circles under her eyes and struggles with covering them. If I didn't sign a contract, promising at least 5 services, I don't think I would have used Philly Hair and Makeup Co. It's a shame too because I was really excited about them after reading dozens of positive reviews on the Knot.

I showed her a picture I found online and was able to replicate it perfectly. I'm also not a big makeup wearer in general and she was able to give me a great look without looking too made up. Day of, she came to the hotel we were getting ready at, and everything ran right on schedule. My hair and make up came out even better day of! My bridesmaids just had their hair done but they were all extremely happy with the results. Also important note, they are very competitively priced for the Philly market!

They came to my hotel room the morning of, which was such a relief and made the day so much easier. And at the end of the day, all of my bridesmaids looked stunning, and I have never felt more beautiful. I simply wanted my hair in loose waves with some pulled off to one side, and Ashley was able to re-create the look that I wanted after showing her pictures rather than trying to make my hair as curly as possible. I must have e-mailed her 10 times in a single day a few weeks before the wedding when I was having hair anxiety, but she reassured me every step of the way. She explained exactly how she would style my hair to ensure that the waves would stay in place all day. I had nine bridesmaids and a flower girl and I thought that I would need Ashley to style hair for 4 or 5 of the girls. Ashley told me a start time to make sure that we would get everything done in time, but she did not set a rigid schedule which I liked because things inevitably change. Ashley brought another stylist with her to assist the day of the wedding, and they did an amazing job. They really listened to what everyone wanted and allowed us all to relax. I needed Ashley to style hair for many more people than I had originally thought (including my mom and my husband's mom), and she was able to accomodate everyone with no complaints. She stayed until the last minute to place my veil and I could not have been happier with the results!
