ess weddings. She helped us develop our wedding storyline as we made revisions to our photo list. She was organized, and communications with her were seamless. On our wedding day, she worked so well and took such leadership with our content creator, videographers, and wedding coordinators. Marsha and her 2nd shooter Sadie captured the authentic expressions and movement of our wedding day. Seeing our final album was such a treat. The photos are beautiful and with incredible narrative depth. The lighting was fantastic! We are so grateful to have our first family heirloom captured beautifully.
What can I say about Marsha! I promise there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing she is. Marsha is the definition of professionalism, caring, down to earth, and just person...
able all wrapped into one. From the first moment you do your consultation with her she is on FaceTime with a pen and paper in hand, laptop on the side ready to get to know you and what you’re wanting overall. She listens and is down for any ideas you have. She patiently deals with your whole crowd of bridal party (if that applies to you), guests, and not to mention mother in laws who might keep requesting photos on the side that weren’t necessarily part of the plan or are past her cutoff time. Her eye for detail is beautiful, and watching her light up with a big smile while she does it shows you how much she loves her job. Marsha was definitely one of my dream photographers and I wouldn’t have traded her for the world. From assisting with re-lacing my dress’s corset to keeping a napkin in her pocket to blot my face if I started to sweat. Book with Marsha, I promise she is completely worth every penny!
Marsha and her team were absolutely excellent! We would definitely recommend her for any photo shoot or for your special day. Her and her team went above and beyond to capture our ...
day. From the smallest detail to the big moments. The pictures were absolutely stunning.
100 STARS!! I truly don’t have enough words to describe how grateful I am for Marsha, The Photege. Marsha single-handedly saved my wedding - and while I won’t go into all the detai...
ls, I can confidently say that she is the reason the entire day came together as beautifully as it did.
From the very beginning, Marsha was the most genuine, detail-oriented, and caring vendor I worked with. On her website, she says that you don’t just get a photographer, you gain a friend, and that couldn’t be more true. She listened to me so closely, remembered every pose and photo I mentioned wanting, and on the wedding day I didn’t have to think or stress about a single thing. She truly took care of me. Since then, she has genuinely become a friend, and I find myself looking for reasons to celebrate just so I can hang out with her again.
The photos themselves are beyond anything I could have imagined. My sneak peeks came back so quickly and they were absolutely perfect. When the full gallery arrived, I was blown away - there were so many photos, and every single one was immaculate. Marsha took my vision and ran with it, elevating it beyond what I even knew was possible. My wedding photos look like something straight out of a magazine, which was always the dream. It’s been months since my wedding and I still look at these pictures every single day.
Her assistant, Jordan, was equally amazing. Jordan took my phone during the wedding and returned it at the end of the night filled with behind-the-scenes photos and videos. Being able to see my wedding from the guests’ perspective the very next day let me relive the entire experience all over again. It was such an incredible and thoughtful touch. Marsha even lent me a memory card for a camcorder my SIL brought so we could capture getting-ready moments. Those little things meant everything.
Marsha also worked seamlessly with all of my other vendors, keeping the day flowing smoothly and stress-free. She went above and beyond in every possible way.
If you are considering The Photege, know that you are not just hiring a photographer, you are gaining someone who truly cares, who will advocate for you, and who will make your wedding day better than you ever imagined. Marsha is simply the best, and I will be forever thankful for her.

in bringing our vision to life. On our wedding day, they made us feel comfortable, calm, and confident in front of the camera—something that does not come naturally to us!

If you are looking for someone incredibly talented, reliable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, we cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever!

s with my dress, her and her crew did not hesistate to drop everything to make sure I looked amazing at every moment. She does not miss any detail. I was so happy to look back on our photo album and see so much of our day that I was not able to see myself with the business of being the bride. Marsha is an excellent example of professionalism, but also cares so deeply about her clients which shows in her work. I seriously could not recommend her more. I now have my entire wedding day so beautifully captured and couldn't feel more blessed.

ughter’s wedding. As a matter of fact, the wedding date was decided according to Marsha’s availability! Her “First Look” series and the outdoor portraits were absolute perfection!! I feel all the emotions I felt that day, every time I look at them! And that’s what makes Marsha so spectacular at what she does! That and the fact that once you’ve met with her, she makes you feel like instant family. We’ve worked with ThePhotege for years now and plan on keeping that relationship going for as long as Marsha keeps “shooting with her heart”!!

her camera. She offered sound advice - advice refined from years of experience in the industry. Marsha was able to anticipate what we could not while planning for our wedding. She became part of our story the moment we decided to hire her on as our photographer. On the wedding day, she did not feel like a stranger, but rather a friend who wanted to put you on the pedestal on your special day. In addition to her natural talent behind the lens, Marsha comes with an expertise and professionalism that makes you immediately want to trust her. As her slogan says, she shoots with her heart - and it truly shows. She had my trust throughout the whole process and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She knew how to capture moments as well as create them - and makes you and your loved ones feel at ease and in comfort in the process. Marsha is the perfect addition to your wedding party and she surely does not disappoint. The memories created and captured have been made timeless mementos - photos I will look at with such awe for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything, Marsha!

's warm & truly listens to her clients to achieve their vision. I didn't know where to have our engagement session, so Marsha made a list of locations & we chose a gorgeous spot in the forest. The way she plays with light through trees is magical! She was also kind enough to allow our dog to join & so so patient with him! During the wedding planning process, she was quick to respond with any advice or help I needed. On our actual wedding day, she made sure everything flowed beautifully & she captured every last detail perfectly. Marsha is a dream to work with! I cannot recommend her enough.

dings, birthdays, family portraits, etc.), look no further. I’ve done the research and completed the “test run” for you. Marsha is an absolute joy to work with. Not only was she present for the wedding day but she was present for me every step of the way. She helped me venue hunt, she checked in with me periodically to make sure I was on track, she gave me travel advice, and maybe most notably to me, throughout the unknown of the pandemic, she was patient when plans changed.. again and again… and again. Throughout her most busy season, she still makes you feel like you are her #1 client. When I decided to hire Marsha, I expected a wedding day photographer but I got so much more. There aren’t enough words to portray how special this woman is. She genuinely shoots with her heart. I would choose her over and over again.

As you may know, 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year. However, Marsha has stuck with Mike and I the entire way through postponements, cancellations, and an eventual elopement. ...
Through this entire process, Marsha has become a dear friend. She exudes positivity, compassion, and understanding. She beautifully captured our elopement ceremony at Yosemite National Park, and we will be forever grateful for the memories she captured. Her talent for photography is incredible and unmatched. She sees the beauty in moments, and I'm always amazed at how she perfectly captures the emotions through a photo. I would highly recommend Marsha for any type of photography session. She has become our photographer for life. Thank you, Marsha for everything! Mike and I are so thankful for you!

Marsha has given us the BEST wedding gift we could ever receive. She has given us the most gorgeous images that we will have for a lifetime. We cannot express our gratitude enough ...
for the joy and happiness these images bring us! Marsha was so much more than a photographer to us! I knew from day one that she was IT !! From our very first conversation I could feel her warmth and genuine kindness shining through even the phone. We've had the pleasure of working with her for our engagement session, family & pups session, and now our wedding. Each time she has shown up with her professionalism and knowledge on how to get the most amazing shots. But her warmth and calm demeanor are what made us so comfortable and able to relax enough in our sessions! She has walked through every step of our wedding journey with us. Being a COVID bride had its heartbreaks. Marsha was there for every moment, always offering her encouragement and a positive spin on the situation. Her professional reputation, provides her with invaluable connections in the industry. She helped me book several more of my vendors. We are genuinely sad that our wedding journey with Marsha is over. But she has definitely become our lifetime photographer, because we just cannot say goodbye!! PLEASE look no further for your wedding photographer. Booking Marsha will be the best decision you ever make!!

So far we have had the privilege of her capturing our engagement photos and a family pup session. She has such a natural gift and ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and assists you with posing. Not only are our photos stunning, her turn around time was incredible. Besides being a great photographer, Marsha has been incredibly helpful during our wedding planning journey. She has offered recommendations on florists, make up artists and videographers. She has great working relationships with many vendors and is extremely knowledgable on good recommendations. I cannot recommend Marsha enough, do not skimp on the investment of a photographer. sionally answering all of our questions. We talked about what we liked and wanted, shared our ideas and she exceeded our expectations! She is quick to get your gallery together and ready for you. Photographing a high school senior that has been quarantine was not an easy task and she certainly made this experience so much fun for him. In his own words “mom, these pictures are soooo cool, I really like them” . I really like them too. I’m so happy we found the very best and I promise, you too will be glad she captured your special day!

of the best days of our lives, so I booked my photographer, before even scouting a venue. She is sweet, funny, and flexible, all while remaining professional. Her honesty is genuine and she wants the best of what you aim to achieve. If you don’t know it, she’ll guide you there. She makes things fun and comfortable for everyone. I adore her and you will, too!

, to receiving her finished photos. She was very reliable, extremely easy to work with, excellent to communicate with, and we could not been happier with how all the wedding day photos turned out. We loved Marsha’s creativity with some of the shots that perfectly captured the bride & grooms unique personalities. Both family & the bridal party commented on how wonderful Marsha (and her 2nd photo shooter) were but most importantly, Marsha’s relaxed & friendly personality helped the normally “camera-shy” bride & groom feel so comfortable that she was able to capture every posed and candid moment perfectly. We were thrilled when we quickly received many of the unedited pictures right after the wedding and all of the wedding photos were shared with us in an extremely timely manner. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed if you choose Marsha Walker of Protege Photography to shoot your occasion. She is absolutely the best!

She made us feel so at ease and comfortable. She was always there when I would call/text her. She even had recommendations for other vendors we were still searching for!! She was always there with any questions we had all the way to our wedding day. Not only is she the sweetest person, her work is outstanding. We can truly say that we love every single one of our wedding pictures and these are things we will cherish forever. We can’t thank Marsha enough and 1000% recommend her. You won’t regret it.

Marsha is absolutely amazing! When we began our search we sat down with a few photographers, someone recommended we reach out to Marsha. We did exactly that and I’m so grateful we ...
did! I told my fiancé I wanted her to be our photographer immediately after I spoke with her. I reached out to her and she got back to me within an hour. She was extremely personable and sweet, something about our conversation made me feel like we were already the best of friends. I was a bit nervous going into the engagement session but as soon as the session started the nervousness went away, I don’t think I’ve ever been that comfortable in front of a camera. She also made my daughter feel like a princess! I appreciate her professionalism and her beautiful spirit, our family has definitely found our ‘forever’ photographer! I can’t wait to work with her again in the future.

unt)! What really sold me was the fact that when looking through her galleries, she didn’t miss a beat! It was like she never took her eye away from the viewfinder of her camera all day! From the details, to first looks, to the ceremony photos, portraits, and reception, there wasn’t a single missing shot! SHE WAS CONSISTENT! We knew we needed to meet her, and after chatting with her, we booked her on the spot! We just took our engagement photos with her last week (got them back within the week!) and it was the best experience I have ever had with a photographer. She was personable and so much fun, but her outgoing personality surely does not take away from her punctuality and professionalism! Marsha is flexible and willing to work with you in order to make everything about your special day perfect and seamless. We couldn’t be more pleased with her, and we cannot stop raving about her and our experience with her to everyone we know! I would highly recommend her to anyone! She’s a gem!
